This dress rocks and I would buy it if I could! The fit was a little large, but when you're shy about mesh around your midriff, the extra room is appreciated. Being lace, it was a little snug for me through the arms and shoulders (especially when driving), but it felt great when dancing. The dress is a little more magenta than it shows up on pictures, so be prepared for pink. This one is truly a stunner and is super comfortable!

Loved everything about this dress! It was not my original pick but a last minute emergency replacement when the original picks didn’t fit. So comfortable and so sexy. Wore to a cocktail work holiday party. Many compliments. I loved that I could wear my regular bra and it just fit perfect! I’m 5’5” 148lbs and size 10 was perfect.

I absolutely loved this dress! I listened to other reviews and went a size larger than I typically do in dresses. Usually, I can wear a 4 in dresses, but the 6 fit perfectly. I was able to move, sit, and dance comfortably all night. The only dislike is that the slip and lace are not attached, and the slip tends to ride up. I received so many compliments all night! Definitely think I'll be getting this dress again!

I felt confident through the entire event - eating, drinking, and dancing the night away! This is such a comfortable dress! I took my strapless bra off because you could see it peek out through the mesh, but it wore just fine without a bra.

I was really surprised at just how comfy this dress was. Even though your midriff is exposed you can still wear a normal bra (well st least I did, just don't do black it shows through). I received so many compliments on it. This ran a bit on the smaller side, but mostly true to size. Most of Marchesa runs small, but compared to her other dresses this was a bit less tight. If you have an ample chest or a bit of a stomach, this is a great option because the kick of material hides all that. I would rent this again, the color is very saturated and very flattering.

This dress is perfect and I would definitely purchase if RTR ever lists it for sale. I'm generally a size 6 but the 4 fit perfectly (34-28-38). I'm an hourglass and this dress really flatters that shape. Normally, I have issues with the arms of dresses/button up shirts being too tight since my shoulders are a bit wider but the sleeves weren't tight at all. You just have to be conscious of the middle sheer panel as it can look like weird wrinkled skin if you aren't standing up straight in photos. The only other thing I would note is that the mesh panel is a medium tone so if you are a snowflake like me, it is a notable difference in tones. Cane out beautifully in photos regardless and received endless compliments. Would recommend!

I wore this dress to my company holiday party and got compliments all night! This was a replacement dress as my original selection could not be sent and I actually liked it more than the original. I have pale skin and the mesh in the middle was not noticeable. Perfect fit, slit not too high, danced all night with no issues. Would highly highly recommend this dress.

I tried on a dress by the same designer at the store in Georgetown. I normally wear a size 8, but needed to size up to a 10 for this dress. The dress is all one piece; the middle is mesh.

Got lots of compliments on this dress. As a tall girl, I loved the feeling of showing a little skin (abdomen behind netting, and thigh at the topmost point of the skirt in front) without being too bold or inappropriate. I wore this to a friend's rehearsal dinner in NYC and it was EXACTLY the right mix of funk and class. Love it!

I rented this dress as my wild card option for a rehearsal dinner. As soon as I tried it on I was in love. I have a small waist but big hips and the illusion bare midriff hit at just the right place and was super flattering on my curves. I thought I would feel more self conscious but it fit like a glove and I felt really comfortable. I got so many compliments on the dress and it photographed really well. I will definitely be renting again!

Loved this dress! I got it as a back up, and I think I like this choice better! The middle is nude mesh, and other reviews say it was awkward when sitting but honestly no one notices and it's not that bad! Their is beading detail on the top which adds a great detail. I would say the one flaw is that the top was itchy at times, but I forgot about it as the night went on. I would definitely rent again! Lots of compliments!

This dress is beautiful on many levels. Beaded very elegantly into the lace on the top portion. Mesh can seem awkward in some photos but in person it's stunning. I started the night in nude heels and ended up wearing cowboy boots rhinestone cowgirl for dancing and the after party.

This dress is very flattering, with kind of a middle eastern flair from the lace pattern. It's one of those beautiful dresses that I would have loved to buy, but makes such a statement that I would not wear too many times, so perfect rental. I'm between 4 and 6, and ordered 6 based on prior reviews. I actually thought it ran large, a bit loose on the see through mid section.

I rented this for my girls night birthday party and I loved the dress. The color was very vibrant and deep - there were also sequins on it which was a really nice surprise. Everyone loved it! I'm a 34DD and weigh about 140lbs, the 6 was perfect but needed help to zip it up through the different kinds of fabric.

Beautiful color and very good fit. I also loved the length, might be a tad long on someone shorter however. The lining inside was a little bit itchy at first but did not notice it throughout the night.

The wedding I was going to had a lot of options for wear-you could wear Indian clothing or formal western dress. I thought this was the perfect blend of the two, and I got compliments on it all night. It fit great, was comfortable, and was really fun to wear! The other reviews are right that it's more fuchsia in person (it's more red in the photos). If you have muscular upper arms it is a little bit tight but not painful at all. And the mesh in the middle can wrinkle which isn't super flattering, but I found that I didn't mind and I was standing most of the night anyway so it didn't much matter. Overall this was a fantastic one of a kind piece!

The dress fit me like a glove. It was a a little snug in the shoulders but I have broad shoulders so I have become accustomed to that happening. It was SO comfortable. It has the perfect amount of stretch to dance around and the gathering in the front covered those inevitable tummy flaws! Everywhere I went I got compliments and I felt like a million bucks in it! I'm already planning on ordering it for another wedding in May!

I wore this to my fiance's birthday party! It was so comfortable and I loved that it felt like a bare crop top, but actually had fabric in the middle section. If you have a larger chest, be aware that the bottom of a bra might show in the sheer area. I had to be very selective about what bra I wore. Loved this and would rent it again! SO many compliments that night.

This dress is stunning! Really unique and beautiful color and lace. I loved the cut of the skirt. Its really flattering for a curvier figure. The color in person is much prettier than online. There is a bit of nude/tanned sheer fabric (like hosiery) for the mid-drift part of the dress and even though I'm pretty pale I think it looked pretty. Its essentially a sheer sun tanned hose on your tummy. On me you couldn't see it unless you got up close but I'm not sure that would work for darker skin tones.

I loved this dress! Absolutely my favorite rental so far. The 4 fit great everywhere (not too tight) and the sheer panel in the midsection was sexy without being too revealing. There are sparkly beads on the bust that you can't see very well from the model photos.

I rented this to wear to the rehearsal dinner but the dinner turned out to be very casual. My friend ended up wearing it to the ceremony bc she preferred it to her dress. Good day to night dress, and she said it was v light and comfy and easy to move in. (She is also hourglass body type but closer to a size 4 so there was some wiggle room but not noticeable)

This is up there as one of my all time RTRs. The dress is perfect. The faux crop cutout hit right in a flatter part of my waist. My bra didn't peek out of the bottom, and it was long enough. Great fit and beautiful color and details. I felt super sexy and confident on my Valentine's Day date.

Absolutely loved this dress and did not want to return it! The color was so rich and amazing. I wore a 16 because it was the only one available but I'm usually a 14 but it for just fine. I got so many compliments in this dress. This dress also has a little stretch to it.

Went to Cirque du Soleil VIP Rouge with friends. The color is this dress is absolutely beautiful. The fit is comfortable and this dress makes you feel sexy and elegant all at once.

I normally fit into petites and range from sizes 2-6. Size 2 fit perfectly but the middle mesh was a bit awkward at first. It was definitely worth it because of the beautiful color, detail and unique features. I was comfortable the entire night, received compliments on my overall look and didn't feel like I showed too much skin during my friend's conservative wedding. Next time, I would go with something darker and sexier.

Rented this for an awards show and it was exactly what I was looking for. Color was on trend (Nicole Kidman wore the same color!) fit was perfect. I loved the length and the sleeves for just the right amount of coverage to stay comfortable. Loved, LOVED this dress. Styled with simple drop stone earrings and laced open toe booties.

The fit is slightly large. The color is flattering, as is the detail near the hip. You can wear a normal bra, which is always nice. I'm 5'7 and this dress went to my knees, so consider that if you're shorter. I paired it with Kate Spade "Trellis" collection earrings and cuff, and nude pumps.
