This dress was stunning. I was able to wear a normal bra, and it was perfect. I've been losing weight but currently fit into 8s and 10s so it was either true to size or a little large.

This dress fit mostly true to size. I was worried after reading reviews from other women regarding the tightness around the chest. It was definitely tight but not enough to ruin the fit. I ended up wearing the size 4 because the 6 seemed too loose and frumpy around the midsection. I am only 5‘6“ and I couldn’t wear a very high heel with this dress. If you are any taller than this I would recommend renting the long. Overall this dress is beautiful and comfortable and I received many compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend this dress.

Got this on short notice to wear to my friends wedding ceremony and it was perfect. I'm short (5'2") so I had to wear 4.5 in heels with it.

The gown fits true to size. I usually wear a 0R but rented the 2L because it was in stock, I was pressed for time and had my heart set on this gown. I am 5'5" - 120lbs with a slight pear figure and I wore 4" heels. The 2L was a little loose in bust and waist but fit perfectly at the hip. Even with the heels it was a little long (expected since I should've gotten a regular, not long) but fit well enough that I could walk comfortably without worrying about tripping. The color is much more pink in person than pictured so it feels like more of a rose gold than a light blush.

Too small.. I just wish there were sizes for girls like me :(

Loved the fabric and seemed very comfortable, but it squished my chest down to an unflattering level (34D). You'll need a strapless bra or the sticky cups for this, as it is too narrow to wear a regular bra (or the spanx with regular straps). Would be perfect for someone with a small chest or for slender (rather than curvy) body types. Wish it worked for my body shape as it is gorgeous and made me feel like a princess.

Very glad I ordered the 6L. Tried the 8R and it was WAY too short. I'm 5'7" and was wearing 3.5" heels. The regular length looked ridiculous.

I rented this for the Cannes Film Festival and LOVED this dress. It fit beautifully for my curvier figure and travelled so well! I didn't even need to steam it before wearing. I sat through a two hour film, dinner and drinks and was super comfortable and looked fabulous! I'm really happy I rented it because the photo I saw, I did not think it would work in my figure. I feel it felt true to size. The inner blush lining is substantial and stretchy. The gold embellishments are gorgeous!!

I was worried it would be too long, but the regular fit great with some tall heels. Loved how this fit on me, embroidery was gorgeous and looked expensive. Tons of compliments! Fit is slightly loose through the torso, which leaves plenty of room for undergarments. Doesn't show lines. Could possibly size down if you are between sizes.

I was attending a Muslim wedding ceremony and needed to dress conservatively, so I added a shawl on top. I'm 5'8" and wore heels (2-3," I don't remember), and the height was perfect for me. This dress was gorgeous - I highly recommend!!

I'm 5'9" and the 4L was perfect. Without shoes it grazed the floor and with medium heels it worked great. It fit great, was very comfortable all night, and didn't make me feel pale at all (which I was worried about since its winter!)

I loved this dress! The color is quite unique! As described by others the dress is more blush pink with a gold detailed overlay. If you have a fair complexion this color may not flattering. I only wore a bracelet and earring as I felt with the detailed neckline a necklace wasn’t needed. There’s really no way to wear a bra as the back is sheer and comes down low and even a strapless would show, this didn’t bother me. The back is absolutely beautiful so I chose to so it off and wear my hair up. I received a ton of compliments! This dress is a very nice compliment to your date’s military class A uniform.

I wanted this dress so bad but the only size available was a 2R which fit fine on my usual size 4, 5'8 frame but I wish I could have gone with the 4. Dress did not touch the floor when I was barefoot so I think if you are taller than 5'5 you should get the Long. But I seriously felt like a princess in this dress, got nonstop compliments all night. Wish I could keep this gown!!

After having a last minute cancellation to my rent the runway order, I ended up choosing this dress 3 days prior to my event. Although this did not come in time for the event, I really liked the style. It was comfortable and not too tight. If I had another event, this would be an option.

I wore this to a formal wedding in Copenhagen - WOW! What a stunner. The dress hangs really beautifully and the gold overlay isn't too itchy, even after wearing the dress for 12+ hours. I'm 5'7'' and did the 6R - it was almost too short with 2.5 inch heels, so if you're tall you probably want to try the long. The bra situation is a little tricky as the cut is a little low in the back for a normal strapless, and it's pretty difficult to zip yourself into it so you'll need someone to help you get it in on and off. I was skeptical the rental price was going to be worth it, but it 100% was. It looks fantastic with fur, so would be a good choice for a winter gala or formal event.

The dress fit perfectly - no issues the entire night. I was able to dance without feeling constricted. The dress length was nice with flats but I feel like a small heel would have looked okay as well. Loved it, got a ton of compliments about it!

This dress is true to the size. I wear size 12R and my height is 5'2 I wear it with a rose gold heels.

This dress was lovely. The fit was perfect, the material was extremely nice and high quality - dress was very well-made without being stiff or heavy. I was extremely comfortable all night - not a common experience for me when wearing a formal gown - and felt like a million bucks.

This was my backup dress and a substitution when my original selection became unavailable. I wore it to a black tie gala. Very elegant and surprisingly comfortable! It is a blush pink with a beautiful gold lace overlay, the sample photos do not show the color well. I got numerous compliments all night long! It was luminous in both sunlight and candlelight, I glowed!

In a sea of black dresses, this one is a showstopper. Wore a 4, strapless bra and was comfortable all night. Photographs amazing! Wish I had ordered the long instead of the regular. I'm 5'5", and it reached the floor without shoes.

This dress was a back up back up that was added to my order the day before it shipped when one of my sizes wasn't available. It ended up being perfect and looked great on my skin tone. I got sooo many compliments! The dress was very tight in the chest area because I am a 38DDD but I ended up NOT having to wear a bra because it was so tight and the girls stayed up all night. Before this never in a million years would I think to not wear a bra. Also because it was a 14L and I'm a 12L (well everywhere but my chest, lol) I was able to sit and dance in it comfortably. I will definitely rent a Marchessa Notte dress for my next event.

Permit fit and just he right amount of sexiness!!

I'd chosen a different dress to wear for my wedding, but it became unavailable a few days before, and this was a last-minute substitution. But I was very happy with it! Fit well & very easy to wear (especially for a pretty formal gown), and it photographed well both in sunlight and after dark. I'm pretty pale and worried this would blend into my skin too much, but overall I think it was okay. In person, the color palette feels very pink+gold (as opposed to nude+gold, which is how it looks in some website photos). Sizing felt true or a little large; I usually get both a 2 and 4 from RTR and can often wear either; here, I wore a 2. At 5'4, I needed 3-inch heels with the standard length.

I rented this dress for a military ball and felt so beautiful! No bra needed and so comfortable. I could have even gone a size smaller but it still looked great! High heels recommended if you're on the shorter side. I absolutely loved this dress! It is more blush pink than nude which was very nice and feminine.

This gown was absolutely stunning and I received tons of compliments on it. It fit the romantic theme of Orphee et Eurydice (ballet + opera) for opening night at the Lyric Opera. The 4R fit well in the chest area, but was loose through the waist and hips. The 2R would probably have fit perfectly, but it ended up being unavailable right before I was supposed to receive it. I ended up cinching the waist with a rose-gold filigree-embellished necklace.

True to size. Comfortable to wear. I am 5'7" and 140 lbs. I fit comfortably in a size 6L. I wore 2" heels which made for a perfect length. I would recommend renting a Long if you are 5'7" or taller, unless you are wearing flats. Very elegant dress.

I'm generally a size 0-2 and the dress was a little "roomy" through the stomach and hip area; but very comfortable!

Rented for friend's black tie wedding and it was perfect - received complements all night on it. The lace detail is beautiful and unique, and not itchy (as I had originally worried). Very light and easy to move in, and it wasn't overpowering on a tiny frame. I'm barely 5'0" tall, so the 0R was long on me - I wore 4 inch heels in these photos and the hem still dragged on the floor a bit, but not enough to worry about tripping over it. I wore a nude strapless bra to fill out the top a bit more, but there is certainly enough support to go without. Overall, loved this dress and I would definitely recommend it for an evening that you want to feel beautiful!

The dress is really beautiful. It's much more peachy/blush than it appears in the pictures. The fit was really nice, and appropriate for my large chest. I wish the Regular would've been a little longer as it seemed a bit short with heels on. The arm pit area got a little itchy after a lot of dancing, but overall it was comfortable! I got lots of compliments over the night and the bride absolutely loved it.

Gorgeous rose gold dress, once I had it on the embroidered details blew me away. I received many compliments on this dress in person and even more on my pictures. I highly recommend this dress for any occasion where you want to look really classy and feel beautiful.
