Love this dress! I rented this for a Mardi Gras ball and it could not have been more perfect. It is even more beautiful in person, and the details are just stunning! It does run small, so I would suggest sizing up. Would definitely rent again!

Very pretty dress! The zipper was almost impossible to unzip at the end of the night. My true size is a 6. The 4 was very tight. Definitely would have preferred a 6 or maybe even an 8

This dress was perfect! It runs very small.... and the two zippers (one for the inner corset and one outside) were a bit tough, definitely needed help getting in and out of the dress! Still plenty of room to dance and I felt very elegant! Would rent again!

The fit was tremendous because of the double zipper (outside and inside one). It's not sequins material, but it is very sparkly, thick material and a well made sturdy dress. The one downside. Someone else had my dress that same night! Great for RTR but not for me!

Wore this beautiful dress to a black tie wedding and I know I could not have chosen a more beautiful dress for this important event. Made me feel like royalty and was treated as such. This dress runs small, I usually wear a size 6 but the 10L was perfect for me. Could have squeeze myself into an 8 but since it has no stretch it would have been somewhat uncomfortable. I'm 5'4" and wore 5 inch stilettos which gave me the perfect hight for this dress. No bra is needed as it has a corset integrated. I highly recommend this dress. You will not be disappointed.

The dress was a little too long, needed to wear platform 4" heals. I visited the NYC store, great experience. I didn't have an appt but a stylist was able to help me. She was awesome, she totally knew which dresses would work for my body type. This was the 1st time the dress looked better on me than on the hanger.

This was sent o me as a backup because my original dress choice was unavailable. Initially, I was upset about my original dress choice and I wasn't crazy about the criss cross detailing at the bust. However, when I received my rental, this was sent along with my original dress choice and I picked this dress instead. The top has a corset inner so it is very tight, I wore a bra and had to size up with that on, could have possibly squeezed into my typical size without a bra but it didn't look great. Overall, I received many compliments on this, and it was perfect for a Gatsby themed wedding!

I’m 5’2” weigh 125lbs and have a 34B bust. I normally wear a size 4P and after reading reviews I decided to order the 4R and 2R for backup. Although the 2R fit just fine except the bust area I wore the 4R to be more comfortable as this dress is very form fitting and has no give. If you are larger in the bust you’re going to want to go up in size. I wore 3 1/2” heels that allowed the gown to kiss the floor as I stood still. Very happy with this gown as it was perfect for the gala that I attended!!

It fit really well, I have a smaller chest so I had to wear a push up strapless to give it some oomph but overall really well, the netting was a bit worn but you can't tell. The material is a little stretchy but only a tiny bit, it really is true to size.

I wore this dress for a black tie wedding. It was sent as a replacement dress because my original pick was delayed. I was not dissappointed. This was almost doinle the cost of the original dress at no extra charge to me. Its stinning. Im 5'1" so I had to select 5" platform shoes. The dress kissed the floor perfectly. Im usually a size 2 petite but the 0 fit better for this dress. My chest is smaller though. If you are cup C and above i would size up. There is no wiggle room at the top which os perfect because i didnt need to adjust a single time. The gold detailing in the dress was spectacular. So many complements on this dress. I could go on and on. Its a fabulous dress!

The fit was perfect. Im 5.3 but I wore 4 inch heels and it worked amazing. Im 118 lbs, 32 C, I do have a tiny waist which was still a little snug but I loved this dress and the hint of gold in the lace made the dress! I will be renting from here for next years ball!

This was sent as my backup dress, and I was so upset at first, but as soon as I put it on my body I changed my mind. This dress is absolute perfection. The inner corset let me go braless, and it also kept the dress in place all night, even through dancing (a first for me with strapless dresses). The body of the dress is stretchy, so it allowed space for my booty and made the dress extremely comfortable. I ordered the regular length because I hate wearing heels, and it hit the floor and only bunched a tiny bit. Ideally a 1" heel or so would have been perfect but my sandals did just fine. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat. Absolute love.

I'm usually a size 4 and the size 4 fit everywhere but my breasts. I'm a 32C and it was really tight so I went with the 6 which fit the top perfectly. It's hard to tell in photos but the dress actually has a beautiful shimmer to it. It was comfortable to dance in. Highly recommend this dress!

I really loved wearing this dress. Definitely one of my favorite rentals so far. It runs a little small so I recommend sizing up one size. I am normally a 6 (sometimes a 4) and the 8 fit perfectly. Real comfortable and a great strapless dress. There was no adjusting, it stayed right in place and was very flattering. The fabric was good quality and it didn't show any of my stomach lines and pooches.

This dress was beautiful and fit my event perfectly. The dress did most of the work with the shiny gold lace and gold flecked black lace, so I didn't get too crazy with accessories -- just some pretty drop earrings and a cuff. I ended up wearing flats, so that the dress would be the proper length. With heels, it would have been too short. Overall, I thought the dress was very pretty, and I enjoyed wearing it.

Just loved this dress. I normally where a 12 and this fit to a T! Dress fell to the floor perfectly with heels. Very easy to walk and dance in. Received a lot of compliments on the dress.

The dress was very comfortable. Size up one size due to the built in bra, which zips separately. It has a tight fit. I wore a strapless bra; however, one is not really needed. I am 5'7 and wore kitten heels. The long was the perfect length. Overall, beautiful dress. I would recommend.

This dress was great!! I am 5'5 and this dress was the perfect length with 1" heels. If you like really tall heels get the longer one. I have a 36C/D bust and this dress fit great- no issues dancing the night away- everything stayed in place. The dress looked amazing and I got compliments all night. Some reviews said material was scratching under the arms- I did not have this issue. The dress has a bit of stretch and was comfortable. I am sad to return it!

This dress was a substitute for the one I'd ordered that didn't end up being available. I must say, RTR picked well for me! It looked pretty online, but it's WAY better in person. The floral gold lacy pattern is simply gorgeous, with subtle sequins mixed in for nice sparkle. Also, it's hard to see in the pictures, but there is gold threading throughout the entire dress, giving it a beautiful subtle sparkle overall. And it's comfortable - the lacy fabric is quite soft. The only thing is the gold floral pattern up top started rubbing under my arms by the end of the night, but I didn't notice that for hours. I'm pear-shaped, and this dress was great. It hit my hips/thighs in a nice way without hugging and showing any lumps. Although I'm a 32D, my torso is small in general (a size or two smaller than my lower half), and the dress was snug enough to stay up comfortably and give me shape without being too tight (a bit tight when I breathed in, but that's unavoidable for me in a strapless dress). I did wear a strapless bra, although it was a toss up. The 6 actually fit me too, but had just slightly too much wiggle room in the top, even with a bra. I wore 3" heels with the 4R (Vince Camuto Pelena in Egyptian Gold). When I tried the 6L, I was tripping over the bottom of the dress even in 4" heels. I'm 5'6", so not particularly short. The gold in the dress is not a very yellow gold, so keep that in mind when accessorizing. It's too distinctly gold to wear silver jewelry, but don't wear anything on the more yellow side of gold. Black is good too. I wore gold heels (which were hard to see anyway), a pair of subtle black necklaces, and dangly black/gold earrings. I wouldn't wear anything too elaborate for a necklace since the dress basically has a necklace anyway, but it's nice to have something unless you wear your hair down. I highly recommend and hope I get the chance to rent this dress again!

The 6 and 8 both fit, but the 6 fit more like a glove and I felt more secure it wasn't going to slide down since there wasn't wiggle room.

I ordered a 4L and couldn't decide what size to order for my backup. I went with the 2L and I'm so glad I did! The 4 would've been wearable but I would've been tugging at it all night and it didn't give me much shape. The 2L was perfect. Ok tall girls--I'm 5'11. The 4L would've allowed me to wear a normal 2 1/2-ish inch heel. But the 2L did not. I ended up with a small 1.5 inch heel. I could've probably worn flats even. Disappointing but the story of my life. This dress was comfortable, elegant and more stunning in person. The gold detail make this stand out from all the other black dresses.

I was weary since a lot of the posts said it was tight in the chest - but it seemed exactly true to size to me. I was able to wear it without a bra and I am a 36 D. The length was perfect - I'm 5'10" and I wore 3 and a half inch heels. I LOVE this dress. Felt like a movie star. I wish I could have kept it! Love love love!!!

I am just under 5' 7" and my bust is typically a 34/36 DD, depending on the bra. I had gained some weight and wasn't sure what dress size I was bc of it (140lbs). I read in other reviews the dress ran small in the bust.... So, to be safe, since I have a large bust but small rib cage, I ordered the 6L and 8L as my back up. The 6L fit everywhere except the bust. Couldn't even zip the sucker. The 8L even was tight in the bust but was comfy everywhere else. It does have built in bowings in the chest area and I didn't need a corset or bra but did it anyways to just hold a cleaner look. This dress had many many compliments all night and was super comfortable to move in. It stayed up well and I was not adjusting at all hardly throughout the 12 hours I had it on! Loved it!!!

Rented it for a gala and got lots of compliments. It was just a bit long for me but barely noticeable with heels. Very happy with this rental, would highly recommend it.

I had originally tried this on with a strapless bra for a little extra oomph, but realized that 1. I didn't need the oomph and 2. the dress kept everything covered! It is a very close to the skin, borderline bodycon dress, so if you're looking for something a little looser you may want to find a different dress. The detailing was absolutely stunning, and I was getting compliments literally all day -- from the time I entered the church (with a shawl over it) to the reception. I never felt like flashing was going to be an issue (and I did the limbo in the middle of the dance floor), which I loved! Would ABSOLUTELY choose to wear this stunning dress again. Definitely a favorite for any future black tie and black tie optional affairs.

I loved this dress. The fit is perfect, and it made my silhouette look great. I wore this for a public speaking engagement and it had just the perfect amount of sparkle to a classy black gown. I received a lot of compliments throughout the night. The dress is long, so make sure you have a tall pair of heels.

I just recently wore this dress to an Assemblyman's wedding at Hearst Castle over the weekend. I got my normal size 2R and backup size 4R. I'm glad I got the 4R. The 2R fit me perfect everywhere but my bust. I couldn't zip it up! The 4R was still a little snug on the top by the 6R would have been way too big for my stomach area. It was a little loose in that area in the 4R. If you have a biggest bust, I have a 32DD, make sure you size up. The stomach area will probably be a but loose though. The dress is the perfect length. I am 5'3'' and wore 4 inch heels and the dress just kissed the ground. I got compliments on the dress the entire night. I highly recommend this dress!

Fit true to size. Has boning and was snug enough up top that I didn't need to wear a bra with it (which is always nice for a busty 34D girl). Very classy and elegant. I got compliments ALL NIGHT LONG in this dress! Even prettier in person, but photographs pretty well. I am pretty curvy, so it is sometimes hard to look classy and not too overly sexual--this was a perfect dress to achieve that goal for a Black Tie Optional wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. I am also pretty short, but 3-4 inch heels worked well for me with this dress. Thanks RTR! Would certainly rent this one again!

The dress is gorgeous but not gawdy - looks rich, wears rich and received many compliments on it. It runs true to size but a slimmer cut, esp in the bust /top torso area (i'm slim up top even with strapless bra). Hangs beautifully. Wore with 2 in heels and it left a little room at the bottom so didn't touch the floor. Was only one annoyance - the gilded decoration running along the top of the dress under the arms irritated the inside of the arms a bit, but really didn't negatively impact how I wore it or how I felt. Just a nit. Loved my RTR experience (btw, I visited the nyc showroom a few months before my event to ensure as good a fit/dress choice as possible).

Rented this dress for formal engagement photos. It ran small and I was barely able to zip it even though I had ordered a size up. It was beautiful though and photographed really well!

I was very worried that the dress would be very snug because I have a larger bust for my body size, but it fit incredibly well. There is an inner boned zipper that made the dress so comfortable without a bra, and I didn't feel like I had to pull it up all night. The dress fit perfectly and I got so many compliments!
