Style not for those with thick thighs.

I wore this for my rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier. It was the right length and fit for a formal party but with a lot of interesting points in the layers and gold embroidery details. The long sleeves were beautiful and it still felt lightweight because of the delicate materials.

Dress was true to size, and I got tons of compliments. The mesh on the upper part of the dress is a little stiff and restricting, but overall the dress was relatively comfortable and really beautiful! I would definitely recommend it.

Great fit, however, the arms are a bit stiff, but that is expected with the style.

This beautiful dress is a bit snug on the chest and arm area. Other than that I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was my first RTR experience and it was a great one. I rented this beauty for my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner before my wedding on Dec 26 and it was PERFECT! The dress is absolutely stunning. It was perfect for the winter season and it glistened all over. I got SO many compliments and felt like a princess.

Fit was true to size. Sometimes I go back and forth between and 2 and 4 and the 2 fit perfectly with this dress

If anything the dress ran a bit tight, especially around my shoulders. It was difficult to raise my hands completely above my head but the bodice fit very well. I was comfortable. Skirt was a modest length for a girl with long legs, too. I would definitely rent this dress again!!!!!

The dress fit great! If my chest was any bigger I may have run into a problem but it fit just right. It was a little snug around my upper arms but all in all it was well worth it! I got compliments all night and was very happy with the way it looked.

This was a great dress for a formal brunch we held for our joint wedding shower. It looks great in natural sunlight. It does fit a bit tightly in the chest, but I was able to comfortably breathe, eat, and move around. I'm (in my opinion) an average/medium build -- not considered skinny, but not considered overweight -- and I thought it was good for my body type. I got so many compliments on the dress, people kept asking where I got it. I was proud to tell them about Rent the Runway!

This dress was stunning for my rehearsal dinner. I got countless compliments from my bridesmaids and guests. The dress was pretty in pictures but even more beautiful in person. I wish I had a reason to wear it again!

There isn't one thing I don't LOVE about this dress. I received both a 2 and 4 and found the size 2 to be the best fit. It is true to size. It was a tad bit big in the waist, but overall the fit was very flattering and comfortable. I received compliments all night! The sleeves are a bit itchy at first, but once my bridal shower started to get going I quickly forgot about the itchy sleeves. This is such an elegant dress and I would recommend it to anyone who is in need of a dress for a special event. Timeless and classic!! I'm sad to send it back!

I was nervous because I ordered too late to get a size four, so they just sent the two. It fit perfectly! The length was great and I received compliments all night. It really went well with the theme of the wedding. Rent the Runway sent some goodies, too! I really felt like a princess, the customer service is great! I have already ordered again!

Great fit, the dress stretched to fit the curves in the right spots. The sleeves were a tad itchy and hot, and did not have any give - however, it still fit great. Tons of compliments!

I loved this dress and I had many compliments on it. The only problem was I had to wear the second size I chose because the didn't send the first choice size (8) so the dress was a little big but it worked out anyway. I was a little upset that I ordered this dress at least 4 months in advance yet they didn't end up having my size the day I needed it. Luckily the other dress fit well.

I ordered the 2 and the 4 but since this runs large I wish I had ordered the 0 and the 2 (even though I wear a 4!) The 2 as you can see was a nice fit and if you rent this dress you'll be guaranteed to get lots of compliments! A very luxe dress that works well in any season.

literally fit like a glove. better than a glove. i want to own this dress and wear it every day for the rest of my life. i got so many compliments and it was so comfortable. i could dance and move around, and most importantly - I COULD EAT AS MUCH AS I WANTED with out it getting too tight!!! i couldn't have asked for a better dress.

This dress is to die for! The detailing is so impressive I couldn't stop looking at it before trying it on. The fit is true to size and I would size up for back up just because I found the shoulders/arms very snug with little give. This would be excellent for any formal event. You can get away with any shoe, as this dress hits between mid-thigh and the knee, depending on your height.

I usually wear a 4, but the sleeves were a tad bit loose (just enough to look bunchy), as was the waist. The 2 was snug in all the right places but still gave me enough freedom to move around. Wore this to an anniversary dinner date and I've never felt more elegant. Begs for a glass of champagne, this dress.

This dress was simply gorgeous. Wore this for my engagement party and felt incredible in it! Fits true to size, however the bust is quite fitted and was a bit too tight for me. Anything under a D-cup would most likely be just fine, though! I thought the fabric might be scratchy, but it wasn't at all! Loved all of the lace detailing; worked great with nude pumps and a statement necklace!

I am broad on top & had to go with the larger size because fabric had no give.

This dress was drop dead gorgeous. Everything about it was perfect. I am normally a size 4, but they only had a size 2 in stock and I tried it. The 2 was perfect, so I guess it runs a bit large. The sleeves are hot despite being sheer. I wouldn't recommend it for an outdoor summer wedding, but if you have an event with AC, go for it!

I have a hard time finding dresses to fit due to my large bust size (38G), but this one worked out well! The first time I tried the dress on, I tried it on with a strapless bra and it was too tight and restricting up top. I took the bra off and it fit much better. In the end, the dress didn't fit 100% perfectly (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) due to my large bust size (not really the dress's fault) and the arms were a bit restricting/itchy, but that's to be expected with lace arms. Overall, it worked well for my event, was different than what everyone else was wearing and I received a lot of compliments!

Fits nicely but highlighted my tummy. The sleeves are roomy enough even for my chubby arms. I didn't wear this dress but it was my very close second choice! So pretty for a garden wedding.

I was really torn between wearing the size 2, which fit me comfortably from the chest but the sleeves looked very loose, or the size 0 which the sleeves fit great but was pretty tight from the chest. I ended up wearing the size 0. It was not the most comfortable dress and after wearing it for about 10 hours, I was so ready to get out of it but the detail of the dress was exquisite and so delicately beautiful that I would not have chosen any other.

I was nervous whether or not this would be a flattering look or not, but I wanted something elegant for my rehearsal dinner. It fit great, though I felt it had a bit of a bell shape in the waste which wasn't as flattering as I had hoped. Also - don't wear tights with this dress. The fabric of the overlay shredded my tights!

I wore this for a wedding and it worked perfectly. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to wear it any longer than I did. I got tons of compliments, but it was pretty uncomfortable. The tulle has NO give so I couldn't lift my arms any higher than my shoulders. The stitching on the outerskirt sticks to the slip, so it required lots of adjusting. I would recommend this dress for a short event - it's lovely, just not the most comfortable.

Rented this for a celebratory date night. Absolutely gorgeous dress but a little restricting. I wore a 4 which is my normal size and I would say it is true to size but on the smaller side. The arms feel a little tight and it was definitely tight for me in the bust/rib cage (I am a DD). I would recommend for a shorter evening.

Sleeves were kind of tight on muscular arms. Overall, it was absolutely gorgeous and I got so many compliments!

If you are pear shaped like me, this is not the dress for you. I do say it runs true to size because if your top and bottom are the same size, then it is perfect. I have pretty big hips and the slip that is sewn in has no stretch. I first tried the 10 so I hopes the 12 would work; that was a little better in the hips but then too big for me in the top so I couldn't wear either. The material is high quality and the sheer sleeves are delicate and beautiful. You have to wear a strapless bra, which don't give me a lot of support so I looked a little frumpy in the dress anyways.

This dress is gorgeous. I got so many compliments throughout the entire night, and it wasn't even my wedding. Like others have said, this fabric has very little give so maybe size up if you're on the cusp of sizes. Also, if you have larger arms the fabric will rub against the underside of your arm and may cause chafing. I had to be cognizant of this an remember to not let my arms rub against the fabric too much. Lastly, this dress is HOT. The fabric traps heat. Wouldn't recommend for an outdoor occasion. Overall, the dress is beautiful and I had a great night in it.

I wore this dress for my talent portion of a pageant, Got so many positive comments, both before and after the event! The dress was a tad longer than I wanted it to be, but all in all it set the tone of what I was bringing to the stage.

I was sent this as a backup dress. It is not my style at all but is really beautiful. I found the 14 to be tight in the rib cage, there is no stretch to the fabric. The sleeves and lace are beautiful.

This dress is really pretty & I received a lot of compliments. The lace is stiff, but I wore the larger of the 2 sizes so it was more comfortable and the layer underneath is more stretchy and soft. It was dressy, but easy to wear. Loved this one!

Fit perfectly, no give in the sleeves and kind of snug across my 36 DDD chest but it was relatively comfortable and it was gorgeous!

The dress is undeniably beautiful. I received so many compliments wearing it at my bridal shower. The detail and gold color make it classic and timeless. I have a very athletic build and I am very broad. After reading the reviews about the sleeves being stiff I became nervous but took a chance anyways! The sleeves were stiff but the 14 fit like a glove and it was perfect. I was very comfortable the whole afternoon. I am normally a 10-12 so the dress definitely runs small! I wish I could keep this gorgeous piece in my closet. I highly recommend renting it!!!
