Rented this for a wedding and received a lot of compliments. Top is a bit tight around the rib cage with no give and for that reason I would say it runs small. The open back adds some edge to what I found to be a very formal dress due to the weight of the material.

Dress fit true to size. Fitted natural at the waist and loose at the hips. NuBra or No bra would be best for this dress. This dress has NO stretch. Would recommend going up a size for backup.

My engagement party was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, and my wedding is the weekend before July 4th next year...so this fit right in with our theme! I loved the red and white stripes. This was perfect for the occasion! I am usually a size 4 and usually order a 4 & a 6, but because of reviews and from looking at the dress shape I did sizes 4 & 2. I have a small chest and I was afraid that a size 4 would be too loose, especially with the open back. And I was right, I wore the 2 and it fit perfect! I loved everything about this dress and did not want to take it off! I wore it from 12:00pm-12:00am. Some people said in their reviews that it was too poofy...it definitely poofed out a bit but since it was my event I felt princess-y and it worked for me. I 100% recommend this dress...I wanted to keep it. My favorite RTR order so far!

Love love love this dress. Very feminine and fun. It is a bit more formal that it looks as the skirt is really full. Fun dress to twirl in though. The back cut is gorgeous. I wore it for my anniversary. Got plenty of compliments.

The skirt is tulle so it was a bit poofier than I expected but super cute and got tons of compliments.

Beautifully made dress. I'm 5'10" and the length was fine. The dress has a full skirt and a high waist but I thought it was very flattering. I'm 32D and could not wear a bra.. But everything stayed in place! Received lots of compliments.

This style is a great summer look! The detail of the design is amazing and the open back adds some edge to the style. I love the full skirt, however it is fitted in the midsection. The bust area is comfortable, however the dramatic open back doesn't allow for a regular or strapless bra. I would suggest this style for smaller cup sizes and to wear a backless bra, This would be a great dress for a summer day event. You can pair this dress with red, cream or nude heels to complete the perfect look!

There is no forgiveness in the waist. If you're a 6, you are a six. I recieved lots of compliments and it's too bad I failed to get a full shot. I wore it with chunky strappy heels that helped accentuate the dress's flattering features. I'd recommend a push up nubra, as the front is odd. This was my backup selection; I was not disappointed.

Dress was a good fit in the waist, but loose in the top- I guess my belly was bigger then the boobs :) It does make you look a bit happier then I would have liked, but I got a ton of compliments. The fabric is beautiful! I'd wear the dress again just for the back.

This is a really pretty dress -- but it is not quite what you expect from the picture. The lace overlay is thick and more "poofy" then you may expect. I wore it to a wedding in FL so it was perfect -- I got several compliments.

The dress was cute and the back was great. I ordered this dress from my unlimited order, so I only got the size 2. I think a 4 would have fit perfectly, just a little small in my bust since the dart were a little high. The lace on it is not given justice based on the photos online. Very pretty and a really full skirt. Would look amazing on a really lean girl. It definitely accentuated my curvy body more than I would have liked making me looked wider than I am. Great color and material though, just make sure you have the model's body type!

Rented this for my birthday dinner. Definitely more formal than it looks in the photos. The fit was a bit odd. The waist hits really high and is not the most flattering. Found the top to be a bit tight while the bottom was really big. Not bad and would still say it's fairly true to size, it's just not the most flattering cut.

Didn't end up wearing it as it fit really strange and made me much hippier than I am. I'm only slightly pear shape and it made me appear much more so. I loved the color and the back is gorgeous but the fit was just wrong for me for both a size 8 and a size 10 (size 10 ran big). A bit too poofy I think compared to the image of the model where it doesn't appear as much.

The material of this dress turned out to be much more elegant than I had anticipated so it wasn't appropriate for a daytime party. That being said, I wouldn't have worn it anyway. The waistline came up so high it felt more empire and baby doll as opposed to the sophisticated look I was hoping for. The fit just didn't do a thing for me.

Tried this on to wear to wedding. For my body type I felt it made me look extra large. So I didn't wear to wedding.

Runs a little bigger, but not too big. I have a large bust, therefore, this was just about right. The bust portion of this dress is a little itchy. It's very puffy on the skirt portion of the dress. Overall, this is a beauty.

Runs very large. I am generally somewhere between a 2 or 4 and in this dress, the 2 was still too big. Also, it has more of an empire waist (rather than fit and flare which is what I was hoping for). The waist hit high on my rib cage and flared out from there. It looked akward. The fabric and colors were beautiful and I loved the open back with the large crossed straps.

Pros - pattern was beautiful, looks unique, stands out, it fits well.

I didn't end up wearing it because the waist was very high; people noted this in their reviews but I took a chance & ended up wearing my other choice. The back is very pretty and the dress was comfortable.

I wanted to love this dress...but the top is too short waisted and I am 5'4" so I was surprised I had a problem. I might try it in a size 10 for my next shipment as the bodice was also "baggy". It was truly a beautiful dress just needed the bodice to be lengthen.

i sized up thinking it wld run small, i was wrong. even if it it, the material was itchy. the lace also looked more like hot pink. i feel like it's something you would wear to a baby shower or something extremely girly. it was also rather stiff. even if it was sized correctly, i don't know if it would've been appropriate for a cocktail event. looked a bit.. childish? cupcake like?

This was very ill-fitting. Tight in the waist, big in the boobs and shoulders--the opposite of what I would normally expect in terms of potential fit problems. I wanted to wear to a friend's wedding, but it looked awful, so I had to return it.

So I got this as my backup, and sadly I was disappointed. I had read reviews and should have taken them more seriously. The dress is beautiful but cuts strangely. The back sadly hits at a bad place for me and even though I'm busty- it didn't work at all.

This is not an ideal fit for anyone with a long torso. Also, the fabric is dressier than it appears in the picture. Overall, it would be perfect for someone a bit more petite attending a more formal event.
