I normally wear a 6 but am a bit larger in the chest area so I wore the 8 for comfort. This dress was amazing - so many compliments all night! I wore it to my job's holiday party. It was flattering and fun to wear. Definitely recommend!

this dress was fabulous. if you're worried about pulling it up all night because it's strapless-don't be! it has a second zipper for the bra part of the dress to keep everything together. the volume, length and the beadwork were amazing.

Loved the dress for a formal Christmas party! Got so many complaints, the red is perfect not your typical "Christmas red dress." It's classy and elegant! It does run small for my precious rental dress I wore a 6 and this one I had to use the 8.

Wore it to my husbands Christmas party and it was perfect for the occasion. Got so many compliments on it. More compliments then i have ever gotten on any dresses I have bought. The dress fit me like a glove. I didn't even have to try on my back up size on. I am 4ft 10.5inches tall and the dress was not too long on me. If you are a bit chesty it fits snugger at the top I am a 32D and i didn't have to wear a bra or even pull my dress up once which usually happens to me with strapless dresses. This is the first time renting from Rent The Runway. Although there was a hiccup they took care of me and I will defiantly rent again.

I originally ordered a completely different dress, however, my backup size was unavailable and I received this dress with my original choice. I ended up falling in love with this dress, and wore it to my company's holiday party. I wish I had originally ordered this dress in a size up, because it was a little tight. However, I am typically a size 2 and wore a size 0. I received many compliments, and overall, thought it was the perfect dress for a cocktail holiday party

I had been eyeing this dress on the app and the I went to the RTR store in NYC and truly fell IN LOVE with it. They were so helpful at the store and I ended up getting a clutch and earnings as well! I tried on a 2 and ordered a 0 and 2. I ended up wearing the 0 to my Junior Prom. The red color was so bold and stood out amongst the other black and white dresses. The embroidery was lovely and I received many compliments. It went right to my knees. Since I'm very petite, towards the end of the night, the dress started to feel a little heavy... But I danced the night away easily in the flowy silhouette.

The dress is well cut, tailored and looks rich and expensive. It also photographs well. I received so many compliments. It's a bit tight in the chest and waist area so size up. I am short so it fell down to my knees.

Loved this from the second I took it out of the bag. Wore it to a holiday party. The material is thick and it has an inner-zip corset, so did not need a bra. The size 2 fit ok, but I knew I'd be dancing all night, so opted for the size 4.

This dress fits true to size and zips tight like a corset. I often wear size 4 and had it as a back up, but end up wearing size 2 because it looked slightly shorter and sexier with a natural push up effect due to snug fit on the body. While I wore a strapless bra it is probably unnecessary for someone with a fuller bust. This dress is definitely a show stopper!

I am 5'4" 130 pounds and have a true hourglass shape. I've learned that because I'm athletic and have a slightly smaller bust that I typically wear a 4 with strapless dresses. The 6 was just loose enough around my waist that it wiggled down when I lifted my arms. The 4 stayed in place better but was still kind of tight in the bust. I had to go braless to fit in it but it was thick enough that I was perfectly fine. There were a bunch of beautiful Latinas in red so I was glad to have picked this dress for our formal Miami wedding. I wasn't as beautiful as the bride of course but I still got some glances ;) def a beautiful dress

This is a beautiful dress. I found it a bit snug, which worked out because I didn't have to adjust the dress all night long. I normally wear a 2, but generally wear a 4 in formal dresses. In this, I probably would have been fine in a 6. I'm 5'4", 128 lbs, and 32dd chest, which was most of my issue. 😉 This particular dress looks well worn. Several loose threads, the lace appliqué is lifting in several places and the dress needed a good steaming. Even so, I felt fantastic in the dress. It was the perfect thing to wear for the casino-themed fundraiser.

This is a very well made and quality dress. It is a beautiful red color and was perfect for a wedding! It is a thick fabric that cinches everything in up top and around the waist but a nice flowy bottom that makes it comfortable and easy to dance in. It definitely does not run big at all. I could have worn a size up and it would have looked good too so I suggest sizing up for your backup.

I'm 5'5" and 120lbs and 32 D. Top was a little big. Hangs beautifully. Lace details are lovely without being too much. Simple but classy.

I wore this to an office holiday party. I was a bit overdressed but got a ton of compliments from everyone. The red is really vibrant and I thought the perfect shade for the holidays. The skirt has layers to it, so the dress holds its fit and flare shape beautifully. I rented the 6 because the 4 wasn't available. It was a bit looser than I liked for a strapless dress but did not feel like it was slipping down, etc.

I was worried that it would fall down while I danced, but even though it's strapless, it stayed put all night! Definitely wish I could keep the dress and wear it again

This is an adorable, fun party dress. I normally wear a size 6 and after reading other reviews ordered a size 8 (this was also a backup dress to an order that I had previously made to replace a dress that did not fit). The dress zipped up over my hips but I could not fit my bust in. If you're bigger than a B cup, this dress may not be a love connection.

The ribcage of this dress runs quite small. I normally wear a size 14, and this one wasn't even close to closing (we didn't even try, because we didn't want to damage the dress). The waist was fine, though. I would have tried the next size up, but it isn't offered in a 16. Maybe once I drop some of this post-pregnancy weight and get back in my normal size 10-12, I'll try renting the dress again. It's definitely a cute style, and the red color is beautiful.

I ordered a 4 based on the comments of other RTR users. It was 3 sizes too small in the best (34DD) so I didn't wear it.

While gorgeous, it was tight through the chest area, I am usually wear a 6 without any issues so I am glad I got a back up size 8. It is full through the hip area and was perfect for dancing! The detail on the bodice was so pretty and I got a ton of compliments throughout the night!

The pattern is nice and not too flashy. The dress didn't flatter my body type but I am guessing this would fabulous on a very skinny figure. I would recommend this dress over most that I have rented from RTR!

This dress is well made, quality materials. It does have a small crinoline layer that gives the dress it's shape, so it isn't like some dresses that fall flat compared to their pictures. The fit was fine through the body; true to size. The only issue with the fit was the chest. Not made for women with more than a B cup. I am a 34 D, and I was squeezed flat, and it was very unflattering. I was unable to wear a bra with the dress because there wouldn't have been enough room for it. I received a couple of compliments, but I really didn't care for this dress with my figure.
