It was absolutely beautiful for my Marilyn Monroe costume and weddings. It is more of a gold than the picture, but I love gold.

From reading the other reviews, I thought the gold would wash me out - but it didn't! (In fact, I went for the whole gold theme with my blonde hair, sparkly shoes, earrings, and purse, don't judge) I've rented a Marchesa Notte dress from RTR before and the 0 wasn't available, so I wore the 2. While I felt beautiful, it was a little too big and not the most flattering. The 0 was perfect for me.

This dress was beautiful. I had multiple people come up and ask where I got my dress from. It was a very comfortable fit and true to size. The gold color also complimented my skin tone well.

The dress(es) arrived in perfect condition, ready to wear (wrinkles are from being in it all night, pic was taken back at home after event)!! It was just breathtaking, I didn't want to take it off! The ladies working the check in counter at the gala commented at the end of the night about how they couldn't stop staring at the dress when I walked in, they thought it was gorgeous! The dress runs true to size. I was delusional when I ordered the size 0 for back up. The size 2 was slightly snug, but it worked. The 4 might have been too big. Only minor complaint for the dress is the sleeves, wished they weren't so loose fitting (made it a bit flappy). But it was so minor and didn't take away from he dress at all. The belt is mine (found at the end of the season at Loft) and really completed the dress. If you don't have one that's similar, I'd suggest adding a nice ribbon belt (you can easily make one with materials from Michael's).

I ordered a 4 and and a 6 in this dress and the 6 fit perfectly! It had just enough give to where I could move and sit down comfortably. The illusion part of the dress bothered my neck just a little bit, but wasn't anything to make it uncomfortable. Just be careful with the button at the top on the back of the dress as the dress is fairly dainty. It was also a great length too as it came right above my knee. I would definitely recommend renting this dress if you are interested!

I tried this dress on a whim since the original dress I had selected wasn't available anymore. It was extremely comfortable and the perfect fit. It was a tiny bit big up top but the rest seemed just slightly bigger than a normal 4. I got compliments all night on it!

I usually wear either a 0-2. I got the 2, it ran just a tad bit big in the waist area, but other wise a perfect fit! It was comfortable yet elegant for a formal wedding! I definitely would rent it again. I got loads of compliments!

I wore this to a wedding. The color and details are beautiful. I loved the illusion neckline and the lovely detailing. It fit me OK, but probably would have been better if I had a 6 petite (it was a little too long, and parts of it were too big, but it definitely wasn't going to work for my chest, waist or hips to have a smaller size). It's a lovely dress and I definitely recommend it.

This had beautiful detail. More for a slim body style. Runs small, especially around the chest area. No give in the material.

The fit was great for my body type (curvy). It really accentuated the places that I wanted. I may have been a little pale for the color, but I loved it anyways!

Nice fit (it does require a strapless bra) Glad to have something other than black so I could stand out.

The detailing of this dress is beautiful. This dress is quite delicate and light in weight. I recommend proper undergarments such as spanx and a strapless bra as the material is not only light, it is thin. I think adding a nude heel and statement earrings with this dress would accent this dress perfectly.

I wore the dress 29 weeks pregnant. It was comfortable and had a little bit of stretch.

This actually came as a back up, since the dress I ordered "suddenly" was unavailable. At first, I felt weird wearing a dress so light in color to someone else's wedding. However, it was more gold than it looks in the picture. It was very glamorous, and I was told by several people that it was the 'most beautiful dress they had ever seen.' It was a little loose in the chest, and you have to wear a strapless bra with it, which is not really my cup of tea. Overall, it was a good experience.

I ended up wearing the other dress as it was better for the event, but I'll definitely rent this again in the future. High-quality and great fit.

I never ended up wearing the dress, as the gold was very yellow and it does not look good with a pale complexion.

I did not end up wearing this dress. The fabric and details were beautiful up close. But the fit was tricky. I did not fully fill out the bust so it looked matronly once on. But I wouldn't have been able to go down a size in the hips or waist. The overall effect was very MoB. Also, it appears to be missing a button.

First off, the dress runs really large. Very baggy. I'm usually between a 2 and a 4, but had to wear the 0. Also, I'm pretty naturally tan, but apparently still not tan enough to pull this color off. It's a really dull/pale gold, so everyone pretty much looks washed out in it. However, I think someone with a darker skin tone would look great in this dress as it is actually nicely made, with lovely dainty sleeves.
