This dress is so cute. It’s the perfect mix of sexy and conservative. My only comment on the sizing is that the size 14 looks like it is meant for people with back fat, otherwise the area below the button hangs open as opposed to pressed against your skin.

I loved this dress and would rent it again in a heart beat. I ordered the 14 and the fit was great, however, i had to wear my back up size 16 due to a damaged zipper on the 14. To be honest, not a huge differance in fit.

I wore this dress for a rehearsal dinner for a fancy wedding in Jupiter, FL It was perfect! I felt elegant and sexy at the same time! I am usually a size 12 with RTR and this dress fit true to size (and nicely accommodated my C-cup chest). I wore the dress with nude pumps and a champagne-colored pashmina wrap. I had intended to wear this dress with RTR's "Oak Gigi Clutch" by Tory Burch (see photo), but it didn't arrive on time. The dress did require some ironing/steaming since some of the flower petals are attached rather than embroidered into the fabric (for a great 3D look) and were looking a bit "wilted" coming out of the garment bag. This dress needs to be worn with a strapless bra since even nude-colored straps show. However, I switched out the straps for frosted clear invisible bra straps, which can easily be found on Amazon, and they worked perfect. Also, the dress did not require any Spanx! Finally, the zipper on my particular dress was not easy to operate due to the frequent dry cleaning. I put candle wax on the zipper teeth before zipping up the dress, which made the zipper go up easily. Unfortunately, at the end of the night, the zipper would not open (even with the help of my husband), but I was able to get out of the dress by pulling the dress over my head (with the zipper still closed). I will definitely rent this dress again!

Easy to dance in. Goes great with a nude shoe.

Wore it for a Valentine's Day date with ny husband. It was cute, but felt a little too old for date night. Worked well in the dinner environment though so it was still a success

This sheath style dress is fitted the waist and has a slight flare. I’m 5’4” and the hem hit just below the knees. The lace overlay is on a second layer of nude colored flexible fabric for a very comfortable fit. Very happy with my RTR purchase!

This dress fit really well… As others have mentioned, I did have to iron down the flowers… But otherwise, really lovely.

I recently wore this to a wedding and it was such a beautiful dress. My only complaint was the flowers on the dress didn’t lay flat so I had to steam them a couple of times to fix that. Overall I loved the dress and wish I could have kept it.

I'm short but apple shaped. I wanted to look perfect for my younger brothers wedding. My original dress did not fit in the customer service at RTR was amazing. We went through my favorites and they sent this one as it was in the same colors that I wanted to wear. It fit so well and looked absolutely gorgeous! I got so many compliments during the wedding and I'm still getting compliments since the wedding on how beautiful the dress was.

I started with a size 12 which is normal size for me, but needed to wear the 14. I am a 36 DD, so was a bit nervous about the fit on top, but the 14 was perfect. Dress was not to tight, and I was able to eat dinner and dance in it all night with comfort. I got a lot of compliments on it, and loved the way it photographed. The dress itself stood out in pictures. I felt beautiful in it all night.

I got this as a replacement for another dress that didn’t fit. It zipped, but barely, and it wasn’t terribly comfortable to sit in. Since we were going to the ballet and would be sitting for hours, I chose something else - but if I’d rented for a different occasion this might have worked.

Rented this to chaperone prom, but ended up wearing instead to an awards ceremony and dinner/drinks out. Great that I could dress it up or down and love the red! I ordered the 2 and 4 and went with the 4, pretty much TTS and it felt looser and more comfortable. Thought I'd need a strapless bra but didn't like it bc of the slight darts in the dress so a nude regular bra worked fine. The mesh rubbed a bit on my neck and arms (hence the 4 rating), but overall really enjoyed and would rent again!

Lots of compliments on this dress! For a bigger bust, size up. Easy to dance in and looks great in pictures. This was not my planned rental, but I'm happy it worked out for a sunny outdoor May wedding.

This was a backup dress that I chose not to wear. It's pretty but more for a work event. Overall the fit was good and comfortable to wear.

I loved this dress on the model but it looked matronly on me in photos. It also took a while to steam the flowers flat on the dress. It might have looked better on someone taller so it wasn't as long. Overall it was very comfortable to wear though!

Fit was great despite it hitting a little bit past the knee. I tried it on before my date and my roommate said it gave the illusion of not having anything underneath the red embroidery. Elegant, classy, conservative, and beautiful. Would definitely wear this again.

Fit was true to size, with no stretch. I'm 5'4 and the dress hit right below my knee. The color is a deeper red, and not as bright as is appears on the model in the photo. Would definitely rent again!

I rented this for a day wedding on the transition from summer into fall. The color and material worked perfectly for both. The dress fit amazing and was comfortable. A few of the flowers could have used a press as some of the other reviews stated but I was able to wear it and have it still look good without having done that. Got so many compliments!

I wore this for a bat mitzvah service. Fit was elegant but not tight. I am normally a 14 but I wore the 16 and it fit perfectly.

Fit was true to size and I appreciate that it was not tight, as well as a bit forgiving, in the tummy area, as I wore this post-baby and still had a tummy.

This dress was perfect for the outdoor wedding I attended. The nude layer underneath was form fitting without being tight, and I love the vibrant color.

This was my first time renting a dress of this caliber. In the regular big box stores for formal wear i am generally an 8, I found this to be a little snug. Overall the dress was in great condition and I received many compliments on it. Would definitely rent from RTR again!

The embroidery detail on this dress is stunning! I found the fit to be true to size for evening wear, which always tends to run small. If you've never worn evening wear, size up from your normal dress size. I am fuller on top therefore, I had no trouble with the lining riding up. There is some stretch in the skirt lining but not in the bodice. I took measurements of the size 12 and 14 hoping this would help someone better choose their correct fit. SIZE 12 measurements laying flat: Arm pit to arm pit (bust), 18 1/2 Waist, 16" Hips, 21 1/2" (not stretched) Length 40" SIZE 14 measurements laying flat: Arm pit to arm pit (bust), 20" Waist 17" Hips 22" (not stretched) Length 40"

This dress was a perfect fit - and was so comfortable to wear all night, from the ceremony to the dance floor!

I did not end up wearing this dress and rented it as a back up. It is a beautiful well-made dress. Some of the flowers were a little crushed but I do not think it would be that noticeable or take away from the overall look. I think it could be worn in any season due to the sheer layers but also rich cranberry colored flowers.

Just the underneath material wrinkles a lot!

The details on this dress are exquisite, very comfortable. I loved that it hid my chest so well. Although the 12 fit great I decided to size up because the lace on the top was a little tight when lifting my arms and I did not want to have to worry about it during the reception. I originally ordered the same dress in blue but the UPS trailer was delayed and I wouldn't have received the package until the Tuesday after the wedding! I called Rent the Runway late on the Friday morning before the wedding and they sent me another package of dresses next day SATURDAY am delivery at no charge! As a first time customer I was extremely impressed with the customer service. I will definitely rent again!

Absolutely loved this dress and got lots of compliments!! It was a tad bit itchy under my arms from the sheer fabric but totally worth it! I'm short (5'-2") so the dress hit below my knees. I still loved the look but it definitely wasn't the same length on me as it was on the model! LOL

Didn't end up wearing because I loved my 2nd pick so much but this dress was very flattering on my post-partum tummy. I would say it runs True to Size but I could have worn either the 14/16. A littler longer than I was expecting (I'm 5'4) but still very elegant. Loved the lace overlay - would be great for a Holiday party.
