Rented this for my teenage daughter to wear to a semi-formal school dance. She is 6 ft 1 inch and we often have difficulty finding a short dress style that is still long enough for her. This gown was perfect, age appropriate, and also long enough! She got many compliments from the other girls and moms. For fit guide: she's not wearing her heels in the photo, the body stats are hers. Ran very true to size, dress was in fine condition when it arrived. Zipper was a little sticky, but still worked fine.

I love how this accented the waist. It was very comfortable and easy to accessorize with!

As other reviewers said, it was tight in the bust. The back also runs low so it is a little difficult to wear a bra with. The skirt is very full as well but overall, the dress is soo flattering.

This dress was perfect for our chritmas engagment session. It is a little tight on the top where a bra does not fit. That was not a problem for me since I only wore the dress for a little over an hour! Even if I had worn it all day/night it would have been fine. My fiancee was blown away when I walked out in this dress. It is beauitful! I only added the cardagin since it was about 20 degrees in Hoboken, NJ during our pictures! I love the full skirt! It is very girly! This is a perfect dress for any event you have leading up to your own wedding!

It runs true to size! It's great if you're busty.

I couldn't have felt more beautiful in this dress. It was so well made and just made me feel like a princess at my bridal shower. Just a heads up, I am always a size 4 and have always worn a size 4 in every RTR dress. This dress however ran large. When I first got the dress, I tried on the 4 and the top was HUGE and the straps would not stay up. My back-up size (the 2) ended up fitting pretty perfectly (but the straps still fell down a few times). I have a small upper body so that could be why.

This dress was my first rental and I couldn't have been happier. I wore it for my bridal shower and got SO many compliments. People loved it! I seriously didn't want to take it off and joked I would wear it to vacuum the house. It's one of those dresses that just makes you feel gorgeous. I think the fit was true to size. I'm a 38 D and the 16, while a little big in the waste and a little tight in the chest, fit pretty great. Because of the tight fit in the chest I couldn't fit a bra in there, so I bought the Hollywood Silicone Cover-ups so that if I got cold, no one could tell ;) I would absolutely rent this dress again!

I was unsure about this dress when it first arrived due to the fullness in the skirt being something I am not used to. Once I had makeup and shoes on, the dress was absolutely perfect. It is very feminine and flattering.

I rented this dress for our engagement photos. It was perfect las dress for what I was looking for. I would rent this again and again. The only con I would have for this dress is that you can not wear a bra, I had to go out and buy adhesive cups to stick to the dress. This was my first rental with RTR but I can tell you because of the overall experience renting this dress I have already rented another!!

As my first dress from Rent the Runway, this was absolutely perfect! I was a little nervous about the fit but felt good about having a second, larger size as a fall back. The dress fit perfectly. The lace was soft and delicate with the trim stunning. I got many compliments at the gala event I attended. The only problem was I didn't want to part with it!

It does fit tight under your armpits but overall fit great

Loved it! Fit very well. I am between sizes right now. The 4 was too big but the 2 fit nice but a tad snug around the arms

I ordered a 6 & 8, which both fit but the straps were a little loose on the 8. I ended up wearing the 6. It fit tight in the chest, so it was impossible to wear a bra. Luckily, it is lined, so I didn't have any issues. I would suggest ordering a size up if you are more well endowed :)

Received compliments all night. I'd wear it again in a second. I wear a 10-12 and the 12 was the only one sent to me. It was a bit snug in the bust area (I'm a 36D) but otherwise fit perfectly.

I'm a 32DDD (F) and I sized up to the size 10 for this dress- i could have worn the 8 (it zipped) but I found it was a bit tight, even without a bra on. With the 10 i could wear a bra - so I went with that size, and glad i did because it was much more comfortable! There is no stretch in the fabric either. What you can't actually see in the photos is that there is beading on the black lace- which does make this a little dressier than if the lace was just flat.

This dress was incredibly flattering. It fit my waist perfectly. The only thing is that the straps were a bit loose, so they kept falling off my shoulder. I wore this to my bridal shower, and received so many compliments. The dress itself is very poofy and incredibly cute :)

Got many compliments on this dress! It fit snug in the top, so I did not have to wear a bra, even though I am normally a 34D. Very flattering for coke-bottle shapes like mine: bigger chest, small waist, and shapely hips and thighs. It was a little flufflier in the bottom than I was anticipating, with lots of layers, but overall worked well. Many people remarked that it looked ballerina-ish.

im typically a 4 and sometimes a 2. I figured i would fit nicely into the size 4, but snagged the smaller 2 (for free :)) just in case. Thank goodness i did-- because the 2 fit really well!

It is a perfect fit for a formal affair. It looked great with black kitten heels and dangling black earrings. I wore Spanx to add more of a hour glass look and strapless bra. I loved this dress!!! I had lots of compliments on it all night.

The black embroidery over the cream is a very pretty combo and stands out in a room of LBDs. I wore with black heels and felt very feminine and festive all night. A bit tight around the bust, but accentuated the waist with the black band, so overall very flattering fit.

A bra was definitely not an option but the tighter fit on top didn't make that an issue! Slightly tighter around the waist where the black ribbon runs but overall a very flattering fit! Would definitely recommend it for busty girls looking for a more forgiving midsection!

I wore this for my wedding shower and ended up loving it so much that I purchased it. It is just beautiful and has a very elegant ballet feel to it. It was true to size.

MAGICAL DRESS! My fiance proposed to me in this dress so obviously I love it. It was PERFECTION! Perfect for a date or a wedding shower or engagement shoot or I guess if you are waiting for him to pop the question. Gorgeous material. I felt like a princess. Fits true to size. A little hard to zip up top but it fit and I have a 32D so most people will be fine. If you are bigger than that though I would size up. One of my favorite dresses of all time. My pictures from the proposal turned out fantastic and I will cherish my memories in this dress forever.

I ordered a size 4 and a size 2. I ended up going with the size 4 because the top of the dress was very tight and the material had to stretch to it. Thankfully it fit and I loved it!

I'm pretty petite, but even the size 2 was slightly big on me- the shoulder straps kept falling off. The dress was lovely though! Just wish it had been easier to dance in.

This was a great dress. The bottom is nice and loose. The upper body is a little snug. It is a little itchy near the underarms, but it's not unbearable. Overall, it's very beautiful.

This dress. I can't say enough about it. It fit way better than the first dress and while i was not planning on wearing this one at all, it turned out to be the best dress. Dress was perfect for my Kentucky Derby Themed bridal shower. The lace mixed with the black looked so classy! I received so many compliments on the dress the entire day! Being smaller chested I did insert some padding into the top to fill it out, the back is cut too low for a bra but it was an easy fix! Loved this dress so much!

I would buy this dress. It was comfortable, gave great cleavage and made me feel like a princess. It ran a little snug in the ribcage.
