This was a back up dress after the original dress I rented was way too long. I'm so glad it didn't fit because this dress is stunning - the lace overlay is gorgeous and I love the slit. The 0P was perfect with 3 inch heels (I'm 5'2"). The fabric is heavy but not too warm, was perfect for a Florida wedding. Got so many compliments and really didn't want to send it back!

RTR sent me this as a replacement to another dress they didn't have in time, and it ended up being one of the best they have ever sent me. I was shocked the 10R fit seeing as I was 2 months postpartum. It was a little long, and has more a train then I liked, but it fit well in the bust and zipped over my ribcage fine, and then hid the extra baby weight in the belly!

I am 5'8", 160lbs with a bust size of 32DDD. I ordered this dress as my second, "back up" dress and the only size they had was the 8L. I was very worried it was going to be too long. To my delight, it was not! I wore 3" heels and it was perfect. The back of the dress has a small train that drags slightly. The built-in corset was so great, no bra was needed. I received so many compliments! Love, love, love this dress!

My husband and I threw a housewarming party for all of our friends and family and I wore this dress. It was a hit to say the least. It is gorgeous. It had plenty of support and I did not need a bra (I am a 34B). It is a heavy dress so I was grateful for a cool evening. The slit made it easy to move and dance. I am 5'4" so I had to wear 3" heels to keep it from dragging. The dress is not as dark as it appears in the picture. The white really shows through. I could not have picked a better dress for the occasion.

Fit well, easy to wear with strapless bra, slit in front is modest enough and sexy enough, pattern is striking and unusual. I loved being able to wear this dress once for a knockout impression at my hospital gala, and not having to pay top dollar for it!!!

This dress was my third choice and ultimately the one I wore. The best thing about this dress is how it moves. When you walk on this dress the whole bottom moves with you and it is amazing. I called rent the runway to be sure I should order the long. I am 5"9. It was way too long my and people kept stepping on it. I would order a regular next time.

Wore this dress to a Festival of Flowers Gala, it was perfect! Fit is true to size. Boning in rib cage area was good, but a wire was sticking out, so I just put a Band-Aid on it and was good to go! I normally wear a 6, but in formals I size up, I wore the 8P with 2" heels, it was a little long, but not horrible. Received compliments all night, would definitely rent this dress again! I love RTR!

I wore this dress at the black tie wedding of a good friend, where I was also the officiant of the marriage ceremony. I had to find the right balance for the double duty of officiant and guest and this dress came through big time. I was not in ideal shape and the dress camouflaged my belly while adding the illusion of a smaller waist and the front slit really helps up the glamour power - but is not obvious for times when you don't want to show a ton of leg. The dress is heavy material-wise but not hot to wear, I loved the weight of the drape. I paired it with 3' matte black open-toe, ankle-wrap heels and large drop earrings from RTR - which looked great. The pattern is so beautiful on the gown, I didn't feel a necklace would add anything. For the ceremony I added a shawl collar, 3/4 sleeve jacket as you can see in the photo, sorry I don't have one from the party but it looked even better without the jacket. I got tons of compliments on this dress, and felt great the whole night.

This dress was amazing! Love it! The scale of the pattern was perfect for winter & somebody my size, not too small or delicate. I got so many compliments. It looked (is) extremely high end & was still easy to wear & move in. I ordered an 8L & 10L. I ended up wearing the 8L with no bra. A padded bra would've required going up to a 10L.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress, the fit, the slit, the boning, the colors. It was so feminine. I'm 124 lbs right now and a 34D and it was a bit snug getting the zipper up by myself all the way to the top, but the 4R was still the best bet - the 6 would have been too big and would have been too loose. Definitely recommend!!

Fits really well and super comfortable. I went to a long dinner event and I was extremely happy with how comfortable it was, hate being all stiff. Love the slit showing some leg in the front as well, makes it easy to walk in as well.

I ordered a 10, which was a little big in the bust, but I know if I would have ordered an 8 it would have been too tight. The length, a long, was perfect, which I can honestly hardly ever happens at 6 feet tall!

Great dress this was my backup and I chose this instead. Front slit makes the dress so much more comfortable. Material is also nice with some weight but not too hot. Fit fine over my large hips.

I was attending the Cannes Lions Creativity festival and I wore this for a dinner on a yacht. The dress was amazing. I'm short so be sure to wear really tall heels so the dress doesn't drag so much on the ground.

I felt beautiful in this dress and got lots of compliments. It was comfortable and did not require any special undergarments (NO Spanx!) to look great. Some of the reviews that I read indicated that the dress was roomy in the bust area and I may be bustier than those reviewers. I did have trouble zipping up the inner zipper but wore a strapless bra and the outer zipper held the dress up and me in it all night without any trouble. Other than that it fit like a dream. I wore 2 1/2 inch heels and I could have gone a little higher. The slit made walking easier but I still had to hold up the skirt a bit when in a crowd.

This dress was a knockout and photographs really well! The slit makes it comfortable to sit in and the flow when walking is glamorous. Overall great experience with RTR and highly recommend this dress.

Regal cut and thigh high slit is the perfect combo of classy girl and dancing girl. The fabric is truly eye-catching in its details, especially the scalloped slit cut. The fit was a little larger than expected and I did have to yank up the bodice most of the night, especially on the dance floor. My strapless bra struggled to stay in place as the fabric and lining is somewhat heavy and probably better suited to someone more generous in the bust. Dress is very long so I wore my highest heels, despite being over 5'9".

I wore this dress to a daytime, black tie wedding. I have trouble with many RTR dresses as I'm really tall - even the long size doesn't often work for me. This one was an exception! The front slit and longer back meant I could wear a little 2 inch heel and the dress still fit really well. Beautiful dress!

This dress was a backup for one that couldn't be shipped. It was better than I could have imagined! The fit and feel of the fabric were incredible! The way the dress moved while I walked was absolute perfection! I could not of been happier! (The picture is from the night before the event when I tried it on...my husband was floored)

The dress definitely runs true to size, if not, slightly large esp in the bust. I got a ton of compliments on the dress all night and the slit definitely makes the dress feel sexier. Overall, i loved the fit and feel of the dress and felt comfortable all night in it so would highly recommend it for any formal or black tie affair.

this dress fit as expected- I'm 124 and 5'5.5 and wore heels (which is a must with the cut) and this dress fit well. I'm a size A but did not have to keep pulling up the dress except for a few times. perfect for the occasion

The length more than hit the floor so while in crowd had my dressed stepped on a few times, but overall wasn't bad and loved the dress.

I needed to find a gown for a black tie wedding event. Scrolled past this dress on the website, but at my appointment the consultant suggested I try this dress on first, and boy am I glad she did! Her name is Samantha and I highly recommend her. She's based in D.C. location. While wearing it, I got a lot of compliments. I usually wear a size 10, but I was able to fit comfortably in the size 8. Since the dress is the focal point, I didn't need to go too fancy-schmancy on the jewelry and shoe. Just a basic black strappy heel and a pearl necklace looked classy enough for me, but you could dress it up a little more with diamond necklace too. Also, the heel didn't need to be high. I think mine was 4in. which was super comfortable for me since I'm not one to wear high heels on a regular basis, but, again, you could wear a higher heel too. This dress really does accommodate for all shapes and sizes. My pictures don't do it justice.

The dress looked lovely. Glad I ordered the Long. At 5'8", the length was perfect with a 3" heel. The inside of the dress was quite worn, with the boning poking thru and the lining somewhat greyed, so I am knocking off a star due to the discomfort of being stabbed all night, but I looked fantastic!!!

I loved this dress, but the top was extremely small to the point I couldn't wait to get out of this dress after dinner. My hips and stomach are usually my problem areas in clothing, but not it this dress.

Rented for formal night on our cruise. The compliments never stopped all night. It fit well and the length was perfect. Unfortunately, the boning was popping out a bit under the arms and was extremely sharp... after getting pricked twice I was more careful how I held my arm all night. But that was the only down fall to this stunning dress.

This may run half a size big but you want it snug! The lace was beautiful...the lining was a bit odd right at the slit but I pinned it back under thr lace and it was perfectly fine! So many compliments and it was comfortable!

Pros: Fit perfectly Moved like a dream Sexy without being too revealing Great condition Cons: Embroidery made it a bit heavy so I kept feeling like it was going to slip. Don't wear a bracelet that might get caught in the embroidery. A very strong wind might reveal your underwear. Felt gorgeous in it. 5 strangers complimented me on the way to bathroom. I felt like I was in a perfume ad every time I moved. Also, in 3.5" heels I still had a bit of a train.

Fit good in all areas except the bust... a little big. But overall very fun dress to wear and got lots of compliments

This dress is beautiful and very well made. The photos don't do justice to the texture and lace detail. I wore it to a black & white gala, wanting something different in the sea of black dresses. It was perfect. I got many compliments and I felt beautiful. #glamorous Fit-wise, the reviews are right, it runs small in the bust, but is more forgiving in the waist to hips. Kind of odd, I could have worn the 6L except for my bust and I have a small chest. I'm 5'8" and the long was perfect with 2 1/2 inch heels. I didn't have any issue with the slit when sitting, it's sewn together above the knee. I also danced quite a bit and the dress was comfortable and stayed put. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the particular dress I rented felt a bit more worn than I'd like, the built in support with zipper was coming apart and the boning was stabbing me until I rigged it with some fashion tape.

The photos did not really do this dress justice, but it was very striking in person. I wore it to a black tie wedding and even received compliments from random people on the street. It flowed when I walked, almost like a cape and was very dramatic. It was a bit tight in the bust, and as this was a backup dress because my first dress was too short, only the long was available. I'm 5'4" and wore 5" heels and it was ~2" too long so I was picking it up all night, the regular most likely would have been perfect. Overall, a great rental!

The dress is beautiful, and the process was super smooth! Will definitely RTR again. But to me, the dress was VERY tight in the boobs! Not for big chested women. Also, the boning poked me in the ribcage/upper abdomen all night and was pretty uncomfortable. (The website wouldn't save my info but I am a 34D)
