Perfect for Speakeasy 1920s Costume
Rented this for a 1920s speakeasy party and it was perfect. Size up at least 2 sizes tho as this dress runs small. I usually wear a 6/8 dress and rented a 10.

I wore this for a Great Gatsby event, and received so many compliments!
I am normally a size 6, but got a size 8 for back up, and the 8 fit better than the 6. It is a bit tight at the top, so the bigger size worked better for me. This is the perfect dress for this type of occasion and theme!

This dress was perfect for a prohibition party I attended!
The only issue I had was that I'm fairly busty so it was tighter accross the chest than expected. I ended up not wearing a bra with it even though I wore the larger backup size 10. Also, it was challenging to zip up by myself and took some arm and back stretch acrobatics. That said it was really comfortable and easy to move in once on.

Flattering and glamorous!
This is my first RTR review, that's how happy I was with this dress. It's super flattering without being too revealing. I'm 5"4, but the knee length was still cute and fun given the swirl of the skirt. The faux key- hole chest feature was also cute, and the dropped waist elongated my short torso. Love, love, love.

Perfect 1920s dress
My husband and I were going to a Roaring 20s bootleggers party for NYE. I saw that some other women wore this dress for 1920s parties as well. It was perfect! The dress was comfortable and flattering. The only issue was the zipper would catch up in the sequins if you didn't zip it fast enough. It also requires help! Otherwise I loved this dress and would rent it again if I ever attend another 1920s party.

Beautiful detail and fun
I loved wearing this dress! The detail in the sequins is more beautiful than shows up in pictures. I'd wear it again in a heartbeat. Glad I took the advice to size up. It's snug from the bust to the waist so if you have some curve, size up. Because the skirt is loose, it wasn't too big by sizing up. I'm short (5'3") and the dress was a good length with high heels. Wore with a regular skin-toned bra, easy!

Perfect dress for a work holiday party
This dress was great for an event where you want to keep covered but still look pretty and festive. The underslip is black. The RTR photos make it look nude. I wore a regular bra. It hit me right at the knees (5'8").

Loved this dress!
I read the reviews and wanted a size up, but it wasn't available, so I still tried the 8. The dress was a little snug at my chest, but that's ok cause they stayed in place. :) The length was perfect. Hit right at my knees. The detail was beautiful and I was getting compliments all night. Very happy with my first RTR experience!

RTR Team Review
The detail in this dress is so beautiful! I am wearing a size six in the photo. The dress does run small so I recommend curvier women sizing up. The dress is fitted in my midsection and waist but not my hips. I felt very comfortable in the dress. The fabric does not have any stretch. This dress is great for any cup size. I am a 36D and felt very comfortable in the dress. This dress may be worn with a standard bra. I am 5’9” and the dress was knee length on me. The dress is perfect for a black tie event or wedding. Pair with black heels and gold jewelry.

Beautiful dress, but runs small at the top. I sized up, so that it would fit. That meant the dress was longer than I would want, but I still received compliments on the dress. If you have C or D bust- size up one size

Slipped the dress on and it fit perfectly!
Wore this dress to the husband's work conference cocktail party and dinner. I received so many compliments on it. It fit perfectly and was very comfortable. The fabric is weighty and hangs well. There's a bit of sparkle in the fabric which makes the dress very festive. I'm 5'7" and the 8 fit me well.

This dress was beautiful!!
It was a perfect fit. Now, I actually wear a size 8 in shirts/pants (sometimes even 6!) but a 10 in a dress like this I think is normal. It was comfy and elegant at the same time!! There's no give so I would recommend getting a size up as your back up. And the zipper was really tough - definitely need someone else to zip it for you. I wore it to my work's black tie optional holiday party.

Went to a Roaring 20's flapper party. It was cocktail attire at an estate in Massachusetts.
The dress fit beautifully. I'm in between sizes, so I did go with the size up. I got the pearl/diamond earrings and the pearly necklace from RTR as well. I wish I could have kept it!

Great dress. Elegant, classic and worthy of special occasions.
Wore hair in loose chignon. Used adhesive Braza ; easy to wear. Was a tad scratchy under arms (same as another reviewer) but nothing to not want to wear it. Great details around face. Need just beautiful earrings and bracelets to finite.

Beautiful dress! Great first RTR experience!
Loved this dress. Beautiful lace and sequin detailing, plus it was super comfortable. Perfect for a black tie optional event. Dressy, without being too formal. Comfortable enough for dancing at the after party too! Felt amazing in it! I am very petite and although this dress was longer on me than probably intended, the look still worked perfectly. This was my first RTR experience and it was wonderful. So easy and affordable! I picked the dress out at the NY showroom, but I would feel comfortable strictly ordering online next time. Can't wait to rent again!

Stylist Review
This detailed lace LBD by Marchesa Notte will give you an effortless dressed up look. While this style runs true to size it is more fitted in the bust, midsection, and hips. If you're a 36C cup and higher or curvier you may want to consider sizing up as there is not much give to the fabric. The lining on the inside allows for a strapless bra or backless bra. At 5'7" the dress hit just above my knee. Show off the shine by pairing with simple jewelry.

Beware the Side Boob!
This dress's drop waist is super-flattering. Got it because I'm large-chested and always happier when I can wear a bra, but if you have a big chest, you, too, may fall victim to the dreaded side boob with this one. A bullet-style or uniboob sports bra might alleviate the problem, but since this was my backup, I opted to pass.

Fun 1920s gala dress!
Great looking dress and perfect for a 1920s gala. Only downside was a weird bump in the upper back that wouldn't lie flat no matter what. Other than that, super-comfy and fun!

Eh
The fit was fine but it looked on unflattering on my figure...my fault perhaps but did not like how it looked like I had a skull imprinted right front and center from the lace...felt more like Halloween which I love but not for this occasion.

Gorgeous dress
This dress was absolutely perfect for the 1920s fundraiser I attended. It was comfortable and pretty flattering. The lace has no give, so I sized up to be comfortable. The skirt fit perfectly and the top was a bit loose, but not noticeably. I received tons of complements and felt great.

Cute dress but bordering on mumsy length for shorter girls
I wore this to a roaring 20's themed school fundraiser and it modest enough and suitable for the occasion. However, I would caution those 5'4" and under that the length can be somewhat dowdy - it hit me just below the knee and clung to all the wrong places in the midsection.. Also the top is very covered up so overall not a very sexy or figure flattering dress.

I would have loved it if I was taller!
This dress was sent to me as an alternate style, and I ended up wearing the dress I originally selected. The top of this dress is GORGEOUS. From the waist up, it's so flattering and the detail is beautiful. I'm 5'2, and the skirt hit me just below the knee, which isn't a flattering length for me. I would recommend for taller ladies, but not for shorties like me!

Runs small
I had rented this dress as an option for formal night on a cruise. I am typically between an 8-10 in dresses and had rented the 8 but felt it was too tight through the torso and not very flattering. The positives are that you can wear a regular bra with this dress, it's easy to zip by yourself and the length hits nicely on a short girl (I'm 5'2").

Not for shorties or smallish boobs
I sent my measurements to a stylist and she sent me two dresses. One was entirely too tight, and this one was too big. The waist was fine, but I'm only a B cup and it was too loose on top, causing the lace across the back to gap. I am 5'4" and the length was wrong, I looked like a kid playing dress up. I also didn't feel the nudish lining came through, the dress just looked plain black, and the kind of pleated look of the skirt didn't hold well during shipping. I had to send it back. I will say it was comfortable, and the sequins and lace were in perfect condition.
