The fit was just right. The dress was both elegant and comfortable. I would strongly recommend it!

For our friend's wedding (Theme: Eleganza Extravaganza) this was the perfect dress. A little tight in the armpits, but I was still able to dance. The neckline was a little low which was a challenge for keeping my bra from showing. Play around with what bras would work for this dress. Overall, loved it!

Great dress for a cocktail party. Fit is true to size. Do not attempt to zip it alone. If you do not have help- you will not get this dress zipped. Neck line is wide- so you will need a strapless bra- or to go without. The bust is snug- so braless is ok.

This was a last minute back up dress, but it worked out pretty perfectly for an outdoor fall wedding. I found it quite tight in the arms but otherwise comfortable and flattering.

Much like a teapot, I'm short and squat. I was a little worried that I would be able to move once this dress was zipped, but the material is surprisingly flexible and forgiving. Overall the dress was extremely flattering and hid most of the areas that I was worried about. People were complimenting me all night. The photos don't do this dress justice.

This dress is gorgeous and I think it's flattering. I'm extra chubby, chubby, right now and this dress helped me feel great. Fit well! However, with the neckline it’s absolutley impossible to zip up by yourself. Dress was comfortable and I felt like it was extremely flattering.

Dress was absolutely beautiful, it is a little stiff so I steamed it a little bit and it loosened up and laid better.

I love everything about RTR! Perfect fit for a curvy girl. I received soooo many compliments and gasps when people saw me in the dress... followed with sincere compliments on how gorgeous my dress was.... and those compliments came from strangers! I can't for my next occasion to RTR!

This dress is beautiful and very comfortable. It's prettier in person than in the picture! I highly recommend renting this for a dressy affair.

I wore this dress to my daughter's elementary school auction that was held at a local golf club. The theme of the auction was "Mardi Gras" and this dress worked perfectly. I actually paired it with a gorgeous, delicate laser-cut black mask that I found on Amazon. I got so many compliments on this dress throughout the evening. It was so comfortable and I felt beautiful. (the attached photo was actually from the morning after the event- I loved the dress so much I had to put it on again just for the fun of it) As for the fit: like others have said, the lace in the sleeves has no give/stretch. If you're bigger on top or have large arms, be sure to size up.

Comfortable to wear, the sleeves were the perfect length. A little scratchy at the bottom of the dress where the lace extends but other than that no complaints! I generally wear 00/0. 5'1, 100lbs, this dress fit great

This dress fit like a glove and was very figure flattering! It managed to successfully disguise my little belly pouch left over from my pregnancy. I felt comfortable dancing all night. The dress revealed a hint of cleavage without being overwhelming and the long sleeves made it perfect for a winter wedding.

I wore this on stage for a show I sang in at the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival with Contemporary Jazz artist Adam Hawley (adamhawley.com). The dress looked amazing on stage under all the lights. The neck is wide and I feared I would have to wear a strapless bra (which I hate because my bust is so large) but I was able to wear straps without them being seen. The material was just a little stiff and scratchy but nothing that ruined the wear for me. The quality is great and beautifully made. The scalloped sleeves were my favorite. The length was perfect. I added a thick black belt to add just a little pop but the dress looks great without one as well. I would rent this dress again for sure. Loved it. :)

I LOVE rent the runway, this is the second time I have used them! My dress fit wonderfully and I got compliments all night long! Absolutely stunning.

This dress was beautiful in person and it photographs well. I have received many compliments from FB/Instagram. The 8 was a little snug on the arms, but the 10 fit perfectly. It is sturdy and well structured while still comfortable. I paired with black wedge ankle boots.

This dress has a vaguely Elizabethan, regal feel to it. The fabric is highly intricate with a slight sheen to the embroidery that would be amazing in candlelight. The deep scoop neckline and small waist with a full skirt were flattering to my pear shape, and the sleeves and weight of the dress made it appropriate for a winter party. I wore a strapless bra but otherwise no special undergarments. Overall, lovely dress, beautiful details, and a flattering silhouette. I paired it with wine-colored pumps and sheer hose and felt very queenly.

I wore this dress to my class reunion. My husband kept commenting on how this dress draped my body just right. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was the sleeve length. I have long arms, and the sleeves could have been a tad bit longer. Got lots of compliments from classmates on the dress and how I hadn't aged a bit. this dress was amazing. The cut was feminine and sexy but still appropriate for my rehearsal dinner. The photos do not do this dress justice, the gold lace is just exquisite. i was worried about the sleeves being too tight since i have bigger arms but they fit and I didnt feel restricted. At 5'8 this dress hit right at my knees. the scoop neck is a big scoop so i did have some tasteful cleavage. I would rent this again if I had an occasion!

I wore this to a wedding. I normally wear an 8 but it was too tight in the bodice. I ended up wearing the 10 for a more comfortable fit. I got so many compliments during the night! I did get a bit warm in the dress after dancing. Overall, I was very happy with it!

I sized up after reading other reviews and am glad I did. The 4 was a bit tight in the chest/shoulders but the 6 was perfect and left room elsewhere so I could enjoy my meal and dessert and stay comfortable. :) I received tons of compliments all night! I styled it with black tights, ankle boots, and a leather jacket to add a little edge and it was perfect for the occasion of a good friend's wedding

I was so excited when I saw this dress available; my uncle was getting married in October & I wanted a dress with sleeves in case it was a little chillier that evening. The cut & fabric of this dress were far above my expectations, the lace is very detailed & the skirt has extra layers to give it volume. The sleeves have scalloped cuffs with little buttons which are such a sweet detail! As I am a bit bustier, I had to size up from a 14 to a 16. The sleeves were a little loose on the 16 but the bodice fit nicely which was more important to the overall look of the dress. I received a ton of compliments, it truly is a very unique dress that you don't see a parallel to often! Really enjoyed wearing it- sending it back this morning was hard, I'll admit!

Gold and black lace gives this Marchesa Notte mini a romantic vibe. Although it runs pretty true to size I would recommend sizing up if you're bustier or have broad shoulders as the upper part of the dress is more fitted. The scoop neckline pulls together the silhouette but does require a strapless or backless bra to avoid any straps showing. At 5'7" this dress hit a bit above mid-thigh. Pair with neutral heels and delicate gold accented jewelry.

This pretty dress is true to size even though I sized up due to my problem area, my waist. The material is not stretchy, and not super comfortable either, as it has a little bit of that stiff lace feel, so just expect that. Once on, this dress looked great and I was very happy wearing it, and got many compliments on it. Even my daughter thought I looked good, which is not always the case! I wore it one weekend and even kept it for a different event the next weekend.

If you are petite this dress may not be for you. I picked this dress as a back up for a dress that didn't ship because it wasn't available. It is very pretty fabric and thought it would be fun and different for a cold weather wedding. I ordered the 0 and it just didn't work. It fit, it just made me look somewhat boxy and was too long for my shape (I am 5'4", 32c, 116-118lbs ) I didn't wear it and wish I picked something else! I think this would look better on tall people in general or maybe just another body type

I normally wear either a 6 or 8, but went with the 8 since the sleeves don't really stretch. The fit was great, but it was a little itchy after a while. The length was perfect for the event since it was appropriate but not too long.

This dress arrived a few days before my rental period, which as a first time renter I was nervous about what to do if it didn't fit. I am really glad I ordered the next size up as well. The size I chose fit perfectly but the zipper was hard to zip because it would get caught on the lace. Being petite the dress was longer than the picture online but perfect for my event. The dress was a bit snug in the bust so I just went bra-less but I'm sure it would have worked well with a strapless bra as well.

I'm glad that I asked for a second size, as I typically wear a 12 but it was too tight in the shoulders/chest, as well as the arms. The 14 fit, but the sleeves were tight enough to be a challenge to raise your arms should you need to. I did receive many compliments on the dress throughout the night and the length was appropriate for the event, which at my heigh is a struggle at times.

Fits true to size. Wore this for Christmas Eve and at the time I was more a size 12, should have gotten that but I got a 10 instead. Was still able to wear just somewhat snug. Has boning and tulle underneath the skirt but I didn't feel like it was too much tulle. Got so many compliments! Felt very pretty in this dress with all the lace detail!
