I chose this dress for my rehearsal dinner because I was so tired of wearing only white dresses to wedding events, and the black gave it just the edge I was looking for. It was absolutely perfect, and I got tons of compliments on it! The straps were a bit itchy and the dress did need to be steamed when it came out of the bag, but I would still highly recommend this for an event. The fit was true to size. It poofed out on me in the waist more than in model photo, but dresses generally do that to me due to my body type. I would rent again!

The lace detailing on the torso runs small in sizing, and feels a bit tight so getting the next size up really would give you more comfort for the chest area.

Wore for my bridal shower n could not have gotten more compliments! Stunning elegant n doll-like, perfect for the occasion! I tried a 2 & 0, & the 0 fit best. I recommend a tight fit to show off the flair.

This timeless, elegant dress is definitely a one of a kind piece! The top portion has gorgeous beading and intricate design. This dress would be perfect for anything from a bridal shower to a black tie affair! It fits very true to size, but has no stretch. Those with larger chests should size up for their backup size.

This dress is so gorgeous and I highly recommend renting it. But please, please, PLEASE size up. I ordered a size 4 and a backup size 6. The 4 was unavailable to ship because the previous renter had damaged it. However, RTR was great and sent me two other dresses along with the size 6 in this style. I was so nervous that it wasn't going to fit, but it was perfect. Actually, I don't think a size 4 would have worked at all. There are two "problems" with this dress which caused me to give it 4/5 stars. The first is the skirt. It can be quite the pain in the butt to iron and if it's ironed incorrectly, it becomes extremely poofy. My mom and I spent about 30 minutes ironing and steaming it in order to get it to lie flat. It wasn't that big of a deal, but kind of inconvenient. The other thing is that the bodice scratches your underarms, but that's a small price to pay in order to wear this beautiful dress. The top part of the dress was extremely fitted but the bottom part was a bit large for me since I have a petite waist and hips. I have a wide ribcage so I had some trouble breathing in the top part. My arms rubbed against the sides and it was a bit scratchy. Overall it was a great dress!

The dress is beautiful but be weary if you are a bottom heavy gal. The skirt poofs too out creating a very wide silhouette. Gorgeous dress but was not incredibly flattering.

I actually didn't get to wear this because it got everywhere except at the bust. The dress was really beautiful though, wish I could have worn it. So if ur busty you may have to go up a size but depending on your shape it may be baggy everywhere else

The black piping on the dress was a little tight so I went with the 8 over the 6 so I could have room to breathe. Be careful - it's not truly white like the photo shows. The dress is more of an ivory or off-white color so don't try to match it to anything that's actually white for accessories. In addition, if you have a rounded rump, this dress makes it look larger. Very poofy down below, like wearing a tutu.
