I felt like I could go to the met gala!
This dress was perfect and it the colors were beautiful in the natural light. It photographs really well and it was just a tad big in the chest. Overall I felt like a princess. :)

STYLIST REVIEW!!!
Glitter in Gold in this tea length gown! This dress is great to make a statement at a formal event. The fabric is a true gold, darker than in the model picture. The bust detailing has clear gold stones and beading to really add extra flare! This dress runs small, and is very fitted through the waist and bust with no stretch in the fabric. I would recommend for bust sizes A-C. If you are a D cup, or have a larger waist you will want to size up two sizes.

This dress!
I have a wider back, so when I wear strapless dresses I have to go up to a size 2. Only issue was I needed the length of the 0. However, the shorter in the front and longer in the back style worked really well to hide the fact it might have been slightly too long. So I would recommend this dress to any of my fellow ladies on the shorter side that are worried about length. Oh and not to mention, the color is gorgeous and I got compliments on the dress all night.

I absolutely loved this dress and I felt so fabulous all night while wearing it!
Chosen for a college formal/banquet with a rose gold/champagne/blush/sparkly theme. I think this dress fits true to size. I usually wear either a 2 or 4, just depends on the dress. The length didn't matter so much with this particular dress because it was shorter in the front, so I wasn't worried about it being too short overall, so I was okay with ordering the regular length versus the long. I also tried this exact dress on in the store before ordering it, so that was very helpful.

You'll get LOTS of compliment!
It was a great dress for a fancy gala at Rainbow Room at the Rockefeller Center. You will stand out when everybody is wearing black. I especially like the embroidering around the bust. It's formal but at the same time the dress is shorter in front, giving you a chance to show off your favorite shoes. I got compliments for dress from literally everybody.

Such a beautiful, well made dress.
The bodice is very structured and fitted. I did not have to wear a bra. I would say it is true to size if you have a narrower waste/rib cage, but possibly order a size up if you have a larger bust or waste. This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway and I'll definitely be back for more!

Pretty as a Princess
I was complimented so much in this dress and several times was told I look like a princess. However, at 5'4" the back of the dress was a little too long and it did get stepped on quite a few times (I think I was wearing 3-4" heels -- maybe higher heels would have helped). The dress is fairly puffy, adding to the princess feel/look. I managed to squeeze my 32 DDDs in the 4R but I still appeared quite busty (not exactly my goal). I had a backup size 6 which would have been better for the bust but was much too big in the waist, hips, and length so it wasn't a viable option.

Loved this dress. It was a replacement for one that I really wanted and it ended up being perfect.
Lovely neckline, has comfy pockets, beautiful sheen fabric. Love the cut and the small train.

A standout in the crowd unique gown!
I love the fact that this gown is high/lo which makes it fun so you can show off your shoes. The one complaint while wearing the gown was that the tulle under the skirt kept getting caught underneath my high heel and that was a pain. The details on the top were pretty, although much more brassy gold than I thought. Overall, a classy, elegant choice.

not my favorite, but hopefully photographs well
This runs a bit smaller than the Gillian Dress so I didn't zip the inner bodice. The dress is gold, darker than the online pics. it honestly looks a bit prom and the material a bit less luxurious than expected. it looks like silk in the photos, but scratchy and not smooth in person so perhaps it doesn't look good on someone my age. I wore 4inch heels and the back dragged a bit, but the front hit at a wonderful length to show off my shoes. The dress also moved wonderfully when I was walking. I got this for my engagement shoot so hopefully it photographs well between the color, outdoor lighting and the movement. keeping my fingers crossed!

Fit true to size. The size 2 was very tight on my bust.

The pockets.
The dress is more gold than it appears in the photos. It does look amazing but wasn't quite what I was expecting. It still was perfect. Best part - it has pockets!

Tons of compliments, easy to wear.
Loved the dress! It's more gold than the picture suggests, and the pockets were so helpful. I'm 5'4 and have trouble tripping over some RTR dresses, but this hemline made it easy to move all night. I'm typically between a 4 and a 6. I got both, but went for the 6 as it allows more room for a larger chest. The top is very form fitting, so definitely size up if you are well endowed.

Glam and adorable
Everyone loved this dress! I was called a 'cake topper' because the dress was so cute. Easy to move and dance in (but it's a thick fabric - so it was HOT). Super chic, lovely.

Beautiful gown that was easy to wear. A little more poofy than I expected but beautiful.
Pros: Beautiful details, on trend high low and unique gown Cons: A little more poofy than expected but if you don't mind the true ball gown feel you will love it

More gold. SUPER POOFY
The dress on the website looks ivory, but it's definitely GOLD - no denying it. There's also a layer of tulle that makes this dress pure #statement. I was going to wear it for my wedding, but it's much too much dress. It's more MetGala than wedding.
