This dress is really beautiful- especially with the 3D flower details. I got soo many compliments (I wore this to a college formal in Chicago) and felt so beautiful in this amazing gown. I wore a 4 (6 wasn't available), but I think if I got it again I would go for a 6 as it was a bit tight around my stomach/natural waist.

I am 5'4", weigh about 130 lbs with bra size 34B. I ordered the 4R and the 6P as backup, ended up wearing the 6P. Would reccomend a silicone adhesive strapless bra to help the dress feel more secure and stay up. I had no problems with the dress falling down at any point during the night. Would also reccomend dress tape to secure the applique at the top of the dress. I'm glad I ordered the 6P as i wore 3 in heels and the dress was the perfect length. The regular length would have been too long even with heels. Overall very happy with this dress, would highly reccommend it!

The dress runs small so be sure and order up a size. Even numbers only. If it's only a little small, a girdle or spanx will do the trick. Very glamorous dress!

This dress was amazing! I rented it for my engagement photos and it was stunning. The only cons that I have are that there are three layers that can get bunched up whenever you move around and the bust of the dress fell a little bit. I have a 32D bust and it was still a problem. Awesome dress though and photographs great!

The dress was gorgeous and definitely stood out. On a side note, I'm 5'8 but the dress would have been too long without heels. Wish I didn't have to give it back!

The dress was not available in my size which is usually a six, but the other reviews said to size up. It was a little big, but still so gorgeous. I would say true to size

The only con is that the tool in the bottom rides up but other than that I highly recommend this dress! It gives you a great shape as it accentuates your waist nicely! Its also very comfortable to dance in!

The gown fit perfectly everywhere expect my boobs. Was large up there and I had to pull the dress up constantly throughout the night but it was worth all the comments, looks great for pictures. Even with four inch heels the gown still hit the floor.

I was concerned because I'm tall and wanted to wear 4 inch heels with my dress, but the 0L was perfect! The dress was stunning and I got so many compliments! Definitely not a dress for anyone with a large bust, It was a bit tight up top and I have a fairly small chest. Overall and fantastic dress!

I have wide hips, so the 8 was a little too snug to dance in at my prom, and the 10 was too big in the chest. It has a convenient place to pin it in the back so I wore the 10 and pinned it tight. The dress was beautiful, and very sturdy (in terms of withstanding the normal wear and tear. The only annoying part was the lace at the top kept doling over, but a quick steaming should solve that!

The fit is the normal fit for a formal gown. It fit nicely and it hugged my curves! I was snatched to the gods honey! No one had a dress that looked mine. I felt beautiful.

Although I loved this dress, I was a little hesitant to order it because there weren't any reviews at the time. I'm glad I did though! The dress was very comfortable and did not slide down, thanks to the gel lining on the inside of the bust and the double zipper in the back. I wore a strapless, backless bra and about 3 or 4 inch heels, so the dress reached the ground in the front. The train was beautiful, although maybe not ideal for group pictures. I received a lot of compliments on the dress, and felt rather special in it. I would definitely rent this again.

This dress is beautiful in person. It's very unique and photographs well. It fits well around the ribcage and highlights your waist nicely. The embroidery is nice and heavy so it won't get damaged easily. The top of the dress has an inner zipper and structure so it does not slip at all. The long length is LONG. I'm 5'7", and even standing way up on my tip toes the dress was at least 3" too long. Since the embroidery on the bottom is so thick, you can't use hem tape to shorten it. So unless you're super tall and wearing stilettos, get the regular length.

I cannot say enough good things about this dress. I lost track of the amount of compliments on it. It made me feel like a movie star wearing this dress. I knew that it would run small so I ordered sizes larger and it fit perfect! The ONLY con I have about this dress is that it has weird underlying black mesh under the lace that sometimes rides up and makes it look a little weird. But other than that, it physically hurt me having to return this dress. Highly recommend to anyone considering it!

The dress was just right for the event. It did twist a little in the bust while I was wearing it and I needed help straightening the black skirt underlayer on a few occasions. Received compliments on it and enjoyed wearing it.

I loved this dress, it was stunning, but the size seemed to run a little bit small, the dress dug into me a bit and it was super tight and uncomfortable. Unfortunately with a 14 there was nowhere higher for me to go. I usually don't experience this with dresses, especially size 14 so I would suggest going one size up if you order it.

I got compliments all night! The length is perfect, not too long, not too short. I ordered a 0 and a 2, and the 2 was a little more breathable, but the bust was slightly larger. You do need to buy some fashion tape to keep the top embroidery detailing from slouching. I loved this dress and felt like a million dollars in it! The other thing that was a challenge with this dress was that it does not open up much on the bottom, so I had a hard time walking. I had to take smaller steps the whole time, but the pictures and the memories were worth it.

This dress is very beautiful and fits true to size. I am between a 6 and 8 so I went with the 6 because I liked the look when it was more fitted. Only challenge, as noted by a previous reviewer, is that there are several layers of lining and one layer can tend to bunch up and make it look like you have wrinkles in the front. Before heading out to my event, I used to static spray and that helped. I lift each layer, sprayed and then pulled them down one by one to get it straight. I was stopped by women and men throughout the night telling me that my dress was the best dress of the evening.

I wore this dress for my senior prom and absolutely loved it. The only con was how long it is. I'm 5'10" and had to wear 4.5 inch heels but thankfully that was an easy fix. It was very comfortable but most of all a gorgeous dress. I was sad to have to send it back in but hope many others will have amazing experiences with this dress like I did.

It was really nice that the bust had a second zipper to hold you in. However I did have to pull it up several times through out the night. I am a 32DDD so that may have added to the issue with the top but for women with a smaller chest they may find this dress a bit more comfortable. They didn't have the regular in my size so I ordered the long hoping for the best. It is definitely LONG but I wore 7 inch heels to compensate.

So many compliments on this dress! I was worried about how my mom-bod would look but the fit if this dress was very flattering. The 12 was snug and I'm very small chested so if you are busty, go up a size. I wore it without a bra and it was fine.

It definitely runs small. I ordered a size up which worked perfectly. The dress is a lot darker than the model picture the under layer is black and the grey lace overlay is embroidered with light pink. The mesh undergarment of the dress certainly rides up a lot? So watch out for that. I ordered the 8L which was recommended for my height but the dress was still quite long even with 3'' heels. Even though the dress differed from my expectations I loved it

I received the dress a day early (awesome) and I immediately noticed it looked different than in photos. The pattern has some pink threading and underlay to it and is less metallic than it looks in photos. That said, the dress was still beautiful. It photographs wonderfully! There are two zippers, one for a corset-type thing and another for the dress. The corset works well to ensure that you safely zip the gown. For the most part it was comfortable, nothing itchy or anything. The only issue with the dress is the black underlay tended to bunch up and make lines. However this shouldn't be a deciding factor. I splurged to get this gown for prom and i am so glad I rented it. It would look beautiful on anyone!

Dress was a bit big in the top but I added a padded strapless bra and that took care of it.

There are two layers of tulle, which means they'll ride up strangely and create lines across the tummy you do not want. The breast are was HUGE on me, but it fit me well everywhere else. There is a double-zipper that helps the dress stay up, and the little flowers across the top wouldn't stay flushed to my skin unfortunately. I received a lot of compliments and enjoyed the dress, although not my favorite ever. I expected higher quality from Marchesa.

The dress I ordered was destroyed and RTR let me know two days before the event- yikes! But they helped me out to find something new and it was this dress. It ended up working out ok! The only size they had in this was 2 long. It was tight but fit. If the 4L was available I would have probably wore that size. I'm 5'8"- wore 3.5" heels.

This dress is perfection. I'm still getting compliments on it after the wedding! It's stunning and form fitting. It was not too tight anywhere and was comfortable all night long.

This fit true to size for her and she looked amazing. We did have an issue with the underlayer riding up under the netting but we sprayed a little anti static and that really helped.

The detailing was amazing and slightly asymmetric, which made it more interesting. It's a wow amidst a sea of other satin or sequined gowns. Very sophisticated but flirty. I probably could have gone up a size to make it flow more, but the slim column effect was super fine. I wore 4" heels at it brushed the ground just right.

I am 32E 5'3" 129 lbs 40yo and wear 2-6. I rarely wear strapless like this because I look like a tank in them (Still have my ju jit tsu & boxing upper body from my 20s ) This dress however has the texture and structure to balance that, So take the risk if you avoid strapless!!! It's unbelievably beautiful! It did slip down a little but I'm V shaped on top so you know, physics... I could get into the 4R but spilled over the top a tad, if I was a B or C cup I would've worn it. It's truly stunning. I've RTR'd 20ish dresses and Always get incredible complimentary feedback on them but this one is definitely the standout in that reguard. Pushing a week later and I'm still hearing about it. First review.

This gown is a wedding crowd pleaser. Mom's and grandmothers love. The embroidery is upset feminine and the cut is sexy yet sophisticated. I'm 5'8" and wore 4 1/2" heels and there was still a bit of length but the regular would have been too short.

I'm 5'3, 130, athletic build, 34D with JLo booty. I'm usually nervous about wearing strapless dresses because I look like a tank in them, but this was exquisite. I loved EVERYTHING about this dress. I ended up with the 6L because the 6R became unavailable. In the end it worked out great I think; I wore 5" platform sandals underneath and I actually liked the fabric draping down and behind like a mini-train. It was a beautiful effect. The dress has light boning in the bodice. It was tight but very comfortable; kept everything in place. I didn't have to wear anything underneath. The decolletage does have some lace that needs to be secured with fashion tape or else it will flop down. I used a little and it did the trick just fine. The skirt was form-fitting but very comfortable. Some people commented it can bunch up underneath and this is true, but very easily fixed. There are actually 4 layers of skirt: under layer which is like a comfortable rayon material in a nude neutral color, two layers of thin black tulle, and the black lace overlay with floral applique. You need to hoist the skirt up to your waist once you have the dress on, then smooth each layer down to the floor one by one. This takes care of the bunching up problem and you're good to go all night! The skirt is form-fitting but quite comfortable; easy to sit in and dance in. What I loved the most was the dress was even more beautiful in person. The lace applique are actually with a very pale pink and green color mixed in with the silvery-white, and some very light sequins is clustered around that catches the light just perfectly without being obvious. It reminds me very much of how a mother-of-pearl sort of changes color and shines as the light hits it from different angles. It was spectacular in person and I got a thousand compliments all night. A few said I upstaged the bride! Highly recommend this for a formal affair, gala, black tie. I'd definitely rent again.

I received so many compliments! My only complaint would be that i was pulling it up the whole night, but tbh it was worth it because the dress looked so great!

It was even prettier in person than in the website because you can't see the pick thread on the flowers in the pictures. It was slightly long so I couldn't walk without holding it up. It didn't really bother me except for when I was dancing because I had to constantly hold up the bottom. The bust was also slightly too big, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall it was a really great dress!

Most beautiful dress I've ever worn. It was extremely comfortable, not too long, not too tight. So glad I had two sizes because the 8L was just a little too big. The only flaw with this dress was if you're like me and don't have much of a bust, the unfilled bra fabric was pointy. But that was exremely minor. Didn't want to part with this dress!

Rented this dress for my daughter's Awards gala. It was a show stopper!! To be honest I didn't think from the pictures that it would be as stunning as it is in person. The embroidery is iridescent and when lights hit it the dress almost seems to glow! The cut was perfect for my daughter's hourglass figure. The weight of it and the fact that it's strapless worried us that it would slide down but it stayed perfectly in place even while dancing for hours!

Tight fit but incredible!! Tons of compliments & I felt like a princess.
