I normally wear 8 and I am Apple and wide shoulder, 10 fits better

It was long on me, even with 3" heels. I used fabric tape to shorten it and it was perfect. It is a comfortable dress to wear, I did not wear a bra with it as it held me in place perfectly.

I work this to a professional fundraising event where I was speaking. It was a striking dress and so flattering! It was true to size and fit my curvy figure. This dress does require a sticker bra or tape! I loved it and got a lot of compliments.

Looks terrible on the hangar, but great on!! Lots of compliments. Felt nice to have a gown that covered my arms but was still elegant. The bodice fit snug so you didn't need a bra. The slit was mildly annoying as it pinched a little on the leg when sitting, but nothing that was a dealbreaker. Really accentuated an hourglass shape. Overall a very fun dress that felt very unique and different from any of the other gowns people were wearing. Loved it!

True to size. I did need my husbands help for the back buttons. Loved the sheer sleeves and the leg slit, was very comfortable and easy to sit and dance in, and fit like a glove.

I wish I would’ve taken a better photo! This dress is absolutely elegant. It looks a little modest on the website however, that peekaboo slit down the side of my leg was absolutely gorgeous. It was very elegant and high-end. It was well tailored and looked like a custom gown. I highly recommend this for a very formal event or black tie. We attended a major black tie event and I received so many compliments on how beautiful the dress was.

Surprisingly comfortable and very flattering, especially the draping over the stomach. You can wear spanx, but only if they end above mid thigh due to the slit. Fabric around arms was roomy and I have large upper arms. However, I couldn’t lift my arms completely while dancing, but that is my only complaint!

Wore this dress to a black tie gala and it was so comfortable, but still glam. On the hanger it looked matronly, but on (and in real life) it looked great. The 4R fit great, I would say it’s true to size.

Wore this beautiful dress for a black tie charity event and received MANY compliments!! It hugs in all of the right places and has fabric that is flexible enough to move and sit in with ease. Wore with heels because it is a long silhouette and used breast tape because of the sheer top and cutout back. Just perfect for a formal event!

Overall, I loved this dress. My only complaint is the extra fabric in the upper arm area, otherwise loved it!

If my torso were about 2-3” shorter then my hips would have been in the right spot for this. Very elegant, but the upper lace material might have gotten itchy after a while.

This was my first pick for the wedding of my step-daughter and although I was 90% certain I would wear it, I opted to choose a second option (Badgeley Mischka one shoulder gown). Thank goodness I did because the very odd stitching on the back of the lace-top gown (see pics) meant it was not suitable to be worn. It not only didn't lay properly when looked at straight-on, it created a bump on the bum that meant I couldn't wear it. The dress fit beautifully everywhere; and although the construction of the arms made for limited movement I absolutely would have worn it if the dress was stitched properly. The is the very first time I've received a dress from RtR that was not made well, so that was disappointing, Otherwise it's a beautiful dress and I hope the stitching can be corrected.

Perfect for a gala

I really liked this dress. It was perfect for a winter gala. The only thing I did not like was it was a bit restricting on my arms - I couldn’t lift my arms above my head. But it was still very comfortable and fit me very well. I did not wear a bra with this dress - I’m not sure how you could with the back being exposed. But overall, I felt very pretty, elegant, and comfortable.

I felt elegant yet sexy. It was a perfect fit. I’m smaller on top and a little bit hippy, typically flux between a 2 and a 4 depending on the cut or the brand.

The dress was selected for a black tie fund raiser. it was perfect. The dress was comfortable. you will need help with the hooks in the back.

Hook and eyes on back top are tricky you need another set of hands with good eyesight

The arms, because the material has no stretch, we’re much too loose to look right.

The lace is a little scratchy and it feels like a mother of the bride dress. I didn’t end up wearing it because I didn’t like it.

I have short arms and this was way too long. Also way more matronly in person

I initially thought the dress was nice but I tried it on walked around, and I looked very much mother of the bride so I did not wear it.

Lovely elegant dress for formal wedding. Fit true to size and comfortable to wear. It took me an hour to steam and iron out the wrinkles, and it still was wrinkled here and there. The appliqué bodice is a bit frayed in places but no one other than myself noticed. I was very happy all in all with this dress!

This was a beautiful dress but it lacked the construction and fabric heavy enough to lay nicely for a formal event. If you are looking for a lighter weight dress, this may do the trick. I am 5'7 and tried it on with a 2" heel. I needed a 4" heel. The look is a little matronly for my taste, but does hide the tummy nicely. It fits TTS.
