Loved this dress. I felt so pretty and confident. Normally I'm a 6, but the 6R was too small. 8R was just the right amount of snug for this dress. By the end of the night though, I was ready to take it off. Also the zipper is a pain. My husband almost gave up, but then I was able to zip it when I wasn't wearing it, so I knew it wasn't broken. Instinct is to pull taught, but it's better to push in.

This dress is more beautiful in person. I wore it for my birthday at a fancy restaurant, and received so many compliments! I found that it fit pretty much to size, maybe a little loose in the bust area but I am fairly flat chested. It's a perfect summer dress for a special event!

This dress was great for a formal wedding. As others mentioned, the front goes up a little bit more than normal but that's great because you don't need to wear a bra but are also not popping out of it. I debated sizing up but this was a swap for the dress I originally ordered and they only had a 10 left. It fit perfectly, I would not have wanted to size up. It's tighter through the hips, but not so tight you can't sit down. As others also noted, there is space in the bust (?) but it's not noticeable and ended up being just fine.

I thought I ordered a 4R and a 6R, I may have messed up. My hourglass teen has the measurements 34-27-40 and we had to get a little creative with dress-tape and two strategic pins to make the dress stay up on her back, where it was a little too spacious. She wore this with pink earrings from Rent the runway and her own pink 3-inch block heel sandals, so she was comfortable and not tripping over the dress. The dress was beautiful, the colors and embroidery are so lovely and she received many compliments. She loved is so much she'd consider buying it in the smaller size. PLEASE NOTE: She weighs around 125 lbs, is 5.4 tall, has 34DD in bra size, and is usually a size 4. The other measurements shown here are mine.

The dress was as beautiful as it looks on the photos. I was excited to get it but kind of worried it be tight. I sized up, it was snug in the boob area but worked with my wide shoulders. It was so lightweight and yet I felt comfortable it wouldn’t come down. It’s the perfect dress for a black tie event. Everyone and their mother loved it. It’s iconic, gorgeous, form fitting, romantic.

Wore this to an arts-themed gala for Arts Month and received many compliments! The top is a bit loose if you are small chested but the boning kept the dress up. Fit was nice in the waist, length was a tad bit long with 4” heels but still comfortable. The smallest size I saw was a 6, so that might be why it was a bit larger on me. FYI: There are two small loops on the front that stick up (it’s to hold the dress up on the hanger when the ribbon is looped through) so I had to tape those down, otherwise it was gorgeous!

Absolutely stunning in person, light weight & comfortable to wear for hours! It was a tad short so you could see my shoes (kitten heels) - could’ve worn flats!

Compliments galore. The tiered taffeta make such a great shape. Went a size up to account for hips so chest was slightly looser on me personally. Loved the embroidery. Easy to get on and off solo. Very comfortable. Must rent for formal fun.

This dress was so lovely and flattering — I felt like a princess all night. Secure enough that I didn’t need to wear a bra and still wasn’t pulling it up all night even though I was dancing!

OMG! Get this dress for your next formal or wedding event. It was so pretty on and received many compliments. It was a little tough to zip up but got it on. The tiers and appliqués on this dress are gorgeous. It was a little long but didn’t have a problem.

This dress is gorgeous and I got so many compliments at the wedding I wore it to. It’s so flattering and was so comfortable to dance the night away in. It was snug around the bust so if you’re in between sizes I’d go up a size, I would’ve went to size 16 but I was afraid it’d be too lose up tight.

I wore the size 8 - I’m 5’9” & 155 lbs & small chested. Not sure how well it would fit for a larger chest!! Plenty long for me as well, and I wore 3” heels

I sized up and I’m glad I did. I am wide around the ribs and the 10 was too tight. I didn’t have to wear a bra as it was perfectly snug around the girls. Beautiful dress and received many compliments.

I felt amazing in this dress. It was so fun and unique. I got many compliments on it. It was comfortable to wear, sit, and dance in. Sizing is TTS but I did have to pull it up a bit during the night, I would have tried a size down if I could. Other reviewers mentioned the top fanning out which it does. I wasn’t flashing anyone but it definitely doesn’t lay on the chest. Also if you’re tall this dress will not be floor length 🥲 it came up just above my ankle. Be careful what jewelry you wear with this. The embroidery is delicate and can easily snag on jewelry prongs!

This was a great dress for a black tie event! It was very comfortable. I was a little apprehensive on wearing a strapless gown but the structure of the dress kept the dress up the whole night. I was never pulling at it. I used the 12R and it was a perfect fit. I tried on the 14R but the area in the top was too big for my body.

This dress is absolutely stunning and I received so many compliments on it all evening. I am bit in between sizes, so I ended up going with the size 12 over the 10. The length was perfect, which I was shocked! I'm 5'2", so it's very hard to find a full length dress that I'm not tripping over. I wore 3" heels and the length was absolutely perfect! I loved this dress so much, I wish I could have kept it. Highly recommend for any formal event!

Wanted to match my boyfriend’s all-black look since he was part of the wedding party, but didn’t want to get stuck with an average black dress. This dress was PERFECT. So many compliments from all kinds of guests. The bust was a bit too big for me but I have a smaller chest - it didn’t fall, hugged me at the waist, and looked polished!

Even more beautiful in person. I’m normally a 12 and the 12 was fairly snug, especially around my chest (I’m a DDD). It was slightly uncomfortable to sit in due to the structure of the torso but it was still worth it. I’d definitely recommend it.

This was a hit! I could easily do stairs and the length was perfect. I am flatter chested and had lots of room, but my strapless bra helped and didn't show. Didn't need shapewear either! The only weird thing was it never felt centered. Either way, postpartum mom of 3 would rent again

Photos do not do this dress justice. The embroidery is exquisite in person. I’m very true to size 8 but have a large rib cage (~35”) that required me to size up to a 10. I loved how center or neck line comes up a bit so you didn’t feel like you were falling out of the dress. I’m 5’7” and wore 2”’heels and length was perfect just above the floor. I was worried about tripping once I took heels off but was not a problem. Easily able to dance in all night! Just LOVED this dress!!

Lovely dress and perfect for a formal/black tie wedding. Loved that it’s different from the typical black tie appropriate dresses without being over the top. I wore a strapless bra to help keep the dress in place. Im 5’6” and wore ~2in heels and length was perfect. Probably could have also worn flats and still would have been ok.

Beautiful dress, I received so many compliments. Runs small at the waist, smaller than other dresses from same designer. Top is looser, which I preferred, the weight of the dress is supported by the center not the top. Doesn’t dig into your underarms or back. Dress is long, I’m 5’7” and wore 3” heels and it touched the floor. I wore this for 9 hours and was perfectly comfortable all night.

This dress was a hit! I had a black tie optional wedding in NY and everyone loved my dress. Dance was very comfortable and no sliding from the top. My only frustration was that the hanger loop in the front didn’t stay tucked in the dress well

I typically wear a 2 in dresses and I ordered a 6 and 8, because I read online that they can run small. This dress definitely didn’t run small, and I ended up wearing the 6 and getting super creative with safety pins to make it work for the evening. In hindsight I wish I had ordered my normal size. The bust runs very large, I am a DDD and I couldn’t even fill it out. But I did get tons of compliments and it was the perfect dress for my event!

This is such a pretty dress, but it is way too large. The measurements from the model fit do not seem to be accurate... I was able to figure it out using safety pins as it has different layers - a size 4 or 6 would have been better! Anyways, I was very comfortable and received so many compliments!

I’m 5’8’’ and 165 lbs. I couldn’t wear this dress with the regular 10R, with regular 3 inch heels because it was too short on me. Unfortunately had to find an alternative for the occasion I had :( Perhaps if I have been able to get it in long, it would’ve worked better!

Wore this to a themed birthday party and was a hit! Didn't have to wear a bra because of the inner thick lining and the length was perfect with 2-inch boots on.
