I wore this dress to the Tony Awards and it delivered! So fun to wear, the sequins sparkled and the cape added to the drama of this gown. There isn’t any give in the bodice- so if you’re in between sizes, I’d size up. I wore 4 inch block heels and the length was perfect. The zipper was TINY for the weight of this dress- that would be the only slight complaint- I needed extra hands to get it on and off. I received so many compliments. Would absolutely recommend this dress for your big red carpet event!

This dress is absolutely gorgeous and fits like a dream. There’s no give in the skirt, so get the right size for your hips/waist. The floral pattern is sequins and they pop off the fabric so beautifully. If you want a statement piece, don’t hesitate to get this dress.

Amazing dress! I wanted a dress that was a little “extra” and this was it! It has a cape! The dress does run a little small but a size up was perfect. Like others have already mentioned, the dress is pretty stiff, so not the most comfortable dress to sit in, but who has time to sit.

Rent it! I felt like a princess in this dress. Perfect for a masquerade party.

This is an incredible dress. The zipper gets stuck so you might need help getting the dress on, but once on it is amazing. The cape really takes it to the next level. After renting from RTR a few times I've learned to size up on the dress, and it was the same with this one. Perfect dress for a black tie affair.

This was perfect for a gala, I was asked if this was made for me and I think that pretty much sums it up. Great for hourglass shapes, bust stayed up but boning in it was kinda weird. BUT IT HAD A CAPE! so fun to dance in and if you like high drama, get this dress!!

I LOVED this dress. I typically wear a 12 but thankfully ordered a 14. I probably should have been in a 16 so that I could move a little easier and breathe when sitting down. Buuutttt beauty is pain. The dress gave me the “extra” glam feeling I was going for at this formal wedding. It photos really well and the cape was EVERYTHING!

Very glamorous, but hard to zip with the tiny zipper and weighed a lot. It ended up being 90 degrees the day I was going to wear it so I opted for a lighter outfit.

I was unable to get my alternate size and after reading all of the reviews, I was very nervous that the dress would not fit. Once WE got it zipped up, it fit great! With a tiny zipper handle and a couple of thick areas in the zipper it was difficult to pull up - you will most likely need an assistant! Although I am 5’9”, I had to wear high heels so I wouldn’t step on the cape. This dress made me feel like the bell of the ball, I received compliments all night long.

Not suitable for large bust

Got this for a fancy party and it was perfect. I'm a 10/12 and got the 14 based on reviews. It was a tad large in the chest but perfect elsewhere.

This dress is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a showstopper, this will fit the bill. I wore this for a Met Gala themed NYE wedding and got so many compliments on it. Finding the right size was tricky, I bounced around through 3 different sizes before finding one that fit well enough. As other reviews mention, the fabric is very stiff and does not give whatsoever. It's definitely designed for a more columnar figure, and I have a rounder pear shape, so I went up a size to accommodate that. I did have to safety pin the very top of the dress to get it to fit properly because of that. All of that being said, I would definitely get this dress again, and wouldn't mind having it in my closet permanently if it wasn't so expensive!

Looked great on, especially standing. I wore a strapless bra and added cutlets to give it extra cleavage. The zipper was stuck to the point I needed to get a pal to unzip me.

Ordered this in a 10 and a 12 and neither fit. No give in the fabric. The dress itself is pretty and well made. I wanted it to fit. The zipper is hard to get up yourself with the cape. I would try this brand again but maybe once I truly know my size. This being my FIRST experience with RTR was amazing though. This was my primary dress and after spending $ in it I was devastated 2 days before event when mother fit at all. No back up in town. I went on my app and requested 2 backups for free and they arrived same day as my event in the morning. I was hesitant to try but had an amazing experience. So try a dress and if it doesn’t fit they try everything to make you satisfied.

There’s just too much material for a 5 ft 3 in frame. Although beautiful, the material didn’t lay well for a curvy woman. Ended up not wearing it. Best for skinny women without curves.

Fits very small in the foots and makes it tough to move. I got the size up and two sizes up and the one two sizes up barely zipped. I couldn't even move in it. Also the sequins look more costumey in person. Great in theory but I didn't love it irl.

Lovely dress, the fabric and beadwork was heavy and well made. Too small for my size 8 ribcage.

The sizing wasn’t as small as the reviews are saying - but it was tight in the hips and large in the top. But I could make it work for one night. Tons of compliments, the cape was awesome

My measurements are chest 33.5", waist 28.5", and hips 39.75". I had to get one size up from my normal 6 since my hips are larger than my chest. I wish I would have ordered the 6 and the 8 (one size up) instead of the 8 and 10. The dress is beautiful and I received a lot of compliments on it. However, you need it to fit your chest/top half in order for it to hold. It is very heavy so ordering for my hips meant we had to try and pin it and use fabric tape. The tape did not hold. I didn't feel comfortable all night. I could also barely move in the dress - no dancing happened. Getting in and out of my husband's truck and sitting down for dinner was an event. I think a 4.5" heel would prevent the cape being stepped on. (I wore a 4" heel and it would still get caught.) It's beautiful and different, but it's meant for straight figures.

This dress is beautiful but not for tall girls or someone with wider hips. I didn’t end up wearing it for that reason

As others have noted, this dress is built for a very specific body. I am typically a size 2-4, but my hips are definitely more in the size 6 territory. Accounting for this, I tried a size 6. It fit wonderfully everywhere except my boobs which just could not fulfill out the top. Stunning dress! But I ultimately had to go with a different option for my event.

Too big and heavy. The weight of the dress and the size made me have to pin it, and it still felt too low.

Was so excited for this, photo looks so elegant but it looked kind of haphazard in person, maybe because the sequins have gotten scattered in different directions over time and wear. Zipper was hard to get up, almost broken, and not flattering with a tummy (though I thought it would hide it). Did not wear.

I’m usually an 8 or a 6 and ordered an 8 because I have a larger bust. The 8 fit well in hips but was very large on top. I recommend sizing down if you can. Otherwise the dress was beautiful and very over the top. Sequins were in good condition and the dress had no snags.

It was beautiful but it runs very small

I was nervous because so many reviews said it runs really small so I went up and it’s too big. I wish I would have gone with my regular size. It is a stunning dress though.

I’m usually a size 8 or 10, but this was so uncomfortable to wear. I feel like if I got a size 12, I would be swimming in the top and it would have fit just right on the hips. Do not recommend for pear shaped figures.
