The dress fits perfectly. I wear a 6 regularly and got a 6L because the 6 was being rented at the time. But it felt not looked no differently from a regular 6. I had trouble walking up stairs, but you could just hold the dress up (duh). Lastly, the color on the picture on RTR is different in person. It's more of a coffee with creamer color than a champagne color. The sequences are like a cooper/bronze color. Also, the bottom is a blush pink mixed with some champagne in there. gold jewelry looks great with this dress. I highly suggest renting this gown! If I could go back, I would've worn red heels instead of bronze.

I rented this gown for my junior prom. I rented the 4L and the 6L. I put the 4L on first and it fit perfectly. Immediately fell in love. It is a little hard to go upstairs but you just pull it up and bit and you're good to go. Also, if you're trying to hide your midsection the dress is not going to be helpful. One thing you can't see in any pictures is the tulle is several different colors which I thought was really cool. Overall I loved the gown. Can't wait to rent again!

Definitely a tight fitting dress, but seriously amazing. I've never felt more beautiful. I would suggest some nude spanx if you're worried about your tummy. The dress was a total showstopper..literally. People stopped me all night to ask me about the dress. Such a great way to end my senior year of college.

I rented this dress for my senior prom and it was a hit! Everyone loved this dress especially me. The fit was incredible and everyone said it looked like it was made for me! I would absolutely recommend this dress to renters. It has enough room for larger bust ladies. It has always been hard for me to find a good fitting dress due to my small waist and big breasts so renting was a bit scary, but this dress was perfect for my body shape. I didn't want to send it back!

The only slight con with this dress is that it takes a bit of maneuvering to walk up stairs, but once you get the hang of it, it's not a very big issue. Other than this, it is a perfect gown. The beading is exquisite and the tulle is eye catching, but not heavy or hot. The beading never scratched under my arms, and the dress fit like a glove without being constricting. Rose gold accessories bring out the slight blush color to the tulle and really emphasize the beautiful detail. If you are self-conscious about your midsection, Spanx might be a good idea since the dress hugs the tummy. I wore 4 inch heels with the regular length gown and it just touched the ground at a perfect length. I had the perfect experience renting this dress, which helped make my senior prom even more amazing!

This dress was stunning. Although it is a designer size, it does run true to size. I am 5'2/5'3 and the 2R was a little big. A 0R would have been perfect. The main of the dress is actually a champaign/nude color, and the tulle is a pale pink/champaign color as well. I wore rose gold jewelry, which seemed to matched perfectly. Since it was prom, my flowers were white roses with pearl accents and champaign/pink tulle. 10/10 would recommend. I would also like to compliment the customer service; I added a dress size 2 days before my order shipped and all dresses came in great condition and on time. Rent the Runway is almost to good to be true.

I rented this dress for my senior prom and it was perfect! The rose details on the dress were less pink than I expected but it was still very pretty. I wore the dress with gold earrings and I thought it went together nicely. As for the fit, the dress was pretty true to size, however this dress has virtually no stretch to it. It does restrict the legs around the knee area which makes waking up stairs somewhat difficult. Overall, I loved how the dress looked on and received many compliments. Definitely recommend for any formal occasion!

I had knee surgery the month before so wasn't allowed to wear heels. the R was perfect for me for flats. The dress runs VERY small. I normally wear a size 8 and measured myself according to Marchesa's fitting and was surprised that I measured a 12. It fit perfectly, though. I strongly suggest measuring yourself and looking online for Marchesa's measurements for fitting to know what you would wear.

The tulle can get wrinkled easily but just use a steamer and its good as new!

I wore this to my senior prom, and i got endless compliments on it. I got the 4R, and it fit like a glove. Warning though, it is a little tight at the bottom, so try to size up if you have a booty or hips. the sequins didn't scratch at my arms. The tulle at the bottom is sensitive, too! Overall, i loved my rental, and definitely plan on using the website again.

I rented this for a model for a photoshoot. She is 5’8.5” and weighs about 135 pounds and the size 4L of this dress fit her well. Her measurements are 33-26-36. The dress I had initially ordered was damaged and RTR sent this dress as a backup/apology. I was shocked that this dress ended up being my favorite. It was very flattering and hugged her curves in all the right places. It was a beautiful dress that was just the right length. It was just meant to be. I wore this gown to a white tie ball. I would say the fit was true to size. It was comfortable to wear and dance in. My only complaint is the material around the armholes was irritating after a a few hours. The length was perfect, I'm 5'2" and wore 4 inch heels. You can wear anything color jewelry with this gown. I had a silver bracelet, gold/bronze earrings and a told gold necklace. The tulle in the bottom was blush color. Such a gorgeous dress! It's a "head-turner" and shows off the booty. :)

I wore this dress to a New Year's Eve black tie optional event and the dress was almost perfect: as far as looks go it was perfect, I say almost because it was difficult walking up stairs in the dress since it is cinched slightly below the knees so I had to pick up the bottom to walk up and down the stairs and stepped on the tool at the bottom a couple of times. I had a model tell me that I was the best dressed at affair along with numerous complements from others. I highly recommend this dress, even with the stairs, just take them slowly and carefully, The dress is a little scratchy around the arms and the color changes a little depending on the lighting from a very fair color to a somewhat rosey cream color.

Wore this to an annual fundraiser called the Pink Tie my husband and I go to. I got compliments all night long. The dress is super snug so spanx are a no-brainer if you want to enjoy your dinner. :) The detail on this dress is what makes it so special -the mermaid shape, the fun tulle hemline, the gorgeous jewel and mesh bodice, the rose/gold/nude combo and pretty neckline. I usually wear a 2 and wore the 2L (I'm five eight and wanted to wear high heels). I was able to dance no problem, stairs are a bit of an issue. Take the elevator, it's worth it!!!

Hands down this is a beautiful dress. I originally was going to wear another dress from rent the runway as this was my back up dress however, when I put it on the decision was final. This dress will make you feel princess like. The tulle at the bottom of the dress adds a special beautiful flare to the dress. I wore this dress to the NAACP Image Awards and had celebrities comment on how beautiful the dress looked! I know that a few people have said this in their reviews but I really didn't want to take the dress off at the end of the night. It was very comfortable and allowed me to wear a normal bra with it. I had the perfect pink bra that matches the color perfectly and was camouflaged very well. I was never uncomfortable in the dress and felt like I belonged with the stars in this dress. I was looking for a dress that gave me some sort of figure and shape and this did just that. It fit in all of the right places and will fit many body types. I am busty and this was the perfect choice for me as it fit very good in the boob area and also came down and gave me a smaller waist. The length on the regular was perfect and did not drag at all which I was surprised since I am only 5'3. I wore a nude pump that you really didn't see because of all the tulle which I was fine with. The tulle on this dress is really the star and trust me if you want to be noticed, rent this dress. The fit was very true to size.

A perfect dress for a perfect night! Gorgeous attention to detail with the tulle and beading. Absolutely lovely champagne and light pink color. Rose gold jewelry really made the pink accents in the dress pop! Yes you have to unzip the dress to use the restroom but it was so worth it! Make sure you wear spanx because it is a little tight around the midsection and thighs - I tried to suck my stomach in all night!

I read that the dress is a little narrow, so I got a 6R and an 8L. The 8 was a little too big and a little too long, so I opted for the 6 that fit me better but was maybe an inch too short. Although I would have preferred for it to be a little bit longer, it still was absolutely beautiful. It was tight in the bust, so if you have a bust, I wouldn't try to get a smaller size.

Originally I ordered the 2 and 4 and unfortunately the girl before me returned the 2 absolutely destroyed :( However Rent the Runway was wonderful in the sense they sent me two additional free options for my event. Although neither dresses worked out for the theme of the party I still appreciated the gesture. Upon reviewing it the 2 really would have been an absolutely perfect fit, but hey a girl has to work with what she's got! Could not fault the dress at all, it was stunning.

The dress was absolutely perfect for my engagement party. The fit was incredible. It a very form fitting. If you have an hourglass figure it is perfect. The color is a great nude color with hints of gold sparkle.

The only issue I had with this dress was I had to have someone unzip it all the way every time I went to the bathroom since you can't just pull the bottom up. Other than that the dress was perfect.

This isn't a dress I would usually go for...but it was SO much fun to wear! It fit so well, and was very comfortable! I got compliments all night, which was fun as well :) If you are going to be doing something that involves stairs I wouldn't recommend it, but its quite comfortable, and you can dance in it!

I think it fits true to size however if you have a booty or slight hips like me, just be aware you might have to do the little wiggle/jump motion :) I'm pretty small on top so that was no problem. If you are slim but have a large chest, maybe consider going up a size. It did ripple/wrinkle a little around the butt area like I mentioned since it is such a slim gown but it wasn't extremely noticeable and still very flattering. The only con is that the tulle at the bottom can bunch together so make sure to fan it out before you leave or like me on stage, I had someone help me "unfluff" right before going out. If you need a gown to hit the ground or you plan on wearing high heels, I would suggest getting the long. I had on 4 inch heels and it skimmed the ground perfectly.

I wore this dress to a gala. I received sooo many compliments! It looks much prettier in person, the color is a little more rose gold in real live it photographs more light cream/beige. In person the color is rich & beautiful, it even glimmers when you walk! It was so beautiful and fit perfectly! I really didn't want to return it!!

This dress is a stunner. On the hanger it doesnt appear this way but once on it is gorgeous. I received multiple compliments and no one had a dress like it. The only concern is it is hard going up and down stairs and at times my unflattering belly would show. I have a larger but\ thigh area so i couldnt bend well.

I am a typical size 4 and I am only 5ft so I usually get regular length dresses but because of the availability I rented a 2L. If you are short like me, the 2L is not a good idea no matter how high your heels are!! the slip underneath is incredibly long! The dress isn't very flattering in the midsection but because of the mermaid shape it makes a great figure! The dress overall was amazing, the material was not irritating and I left amazing the whole night!

I chose this cut for an hourglass figure, but I'm not so sure this dress meets that expectation. The 4's booty was pulling a little, which isn't very noticeable, but still not what I want in a dress - but the 6 was HUGE in the waist and hung like a flour sack. A mermaid cut also means the needs to be unzipped to pee. Take that into consideration. Overall, though - I was referred to as Old Hollywood Glamour all night :) not too shabby!

This dress was beautiful and I got tons of compliments all night. It was good for larger busted women but a little tight in the middle. I did manage to work it up to use the bathroom although it wasn't easy. The tulle needs to be steamed before wearing, and the material irritated my shoulders, but overall I loved the dress and it worked out beautifully.

I rented this Marchessa dress for my old Hollywood glam wedding & it was perfect! The dress runs a little small. I'm normally a 10 but wore the size 12. All in all, this dress is stunning!!! It was the topic of conversation all night! I love this designer! & I love RTR!

I rented this dress for a Styled Shoot that I did. The model is a 8/10 but the 12 fit her best. The model is 5.8" tall and with heels the Regular length was slightly short she would have needed the Long. The pictures attached are her with flats on. The dress was slightly hard to walk up stairs in but overall it was perfect!

This dress was a last minute Hail Mary because the three dresses I originally ordered for my daughter didn't fit. She'd picked out black dresses so this dress definitely wasn't on her radar but we were running out of time, she was at school, and I had to decide quick without her. I found this one right away and figured, hey why not? When I showed her the picture on the website, she hated it. The next day, the dress arrives, she puts it on just to humor me, and then falls in love with it. It fit like a glove and was so comfortable that she wore it around the house for a few hours before I finally got her to take it off. Needless to say, the dress was a success. Mama knows best! p.s. - you can't tell in the pictures, but it's very sparkly.

I rent from RTR every year for an annual Charity Ball, and this is by far my favorite dress so far! It was so beautiful & flattering! I got compliments all night! It was comfortable and just made me feel good! I really, really loved this one & would definitely recommend it!

This dress was so classically beautiful. The detailing is incredible and the tulle at the bottom is actually two colors - blush and ivory. My husband was in a tuxedo and I felt very elegant by his side. I thought the shape and size perfectly suited my petite frame, unlike some other gowns that make me feel like the dress is wearing me. It doesn't have any stretch, so if you're in between sizes, I'd ordered up. I wore 4" heels and the length was perfect.

I wore this dress to a themed military ball, dance throughout the ages with our squadron. I focused on the 1920s and it was perfect!!! I loved the bottom!

This dress was fit like a glove. It loosens the longer you wear it, so do not size up. I usually wear a 2 and the size 2 fit perfect!! I'm 5'9 and wore a 2R, the 2L was not available. I did not have any problems with the length of the 2R.
