Not traditional, I know, but it was so chic and perfect for my courthouse wedding. Photographs beautifully and fits like a glove. If you have a bigger bust or ribcage, consider sizing up.

Dress was prettier, and fancier, in person than what it shows online. Fit was nice, not too small or too big. I wore it without a bra otherwise it was slightly snug in the bust. Material was thick enough that I was comfortable though. Lots of compliments. It was cool in the place snd I ended up wearing it with a cropped black leather jacket and black heels.

This dress was perfect for an October wedding. There was not that much difference between the 8 and 10 except a tiny bit more space in the hips and bust. I ended up wearing the 10 but had to stitch the straps a bit because they were too loose. After that quick fix it was perfect. Lots of compliments.

Felt so good in it! Wore without a bra, since the material was thick. Waist is a bit constricting but was able to still fit in an 8 course meal somewhat uncomfortably!

Loved this dress, it was unique, had intricate details and some sparkle to make you feel expensive wearing it. I wore a black turtleneck sweater over it at my office party to make it a little less black tie.

Rented for a Mardi Gras gala and it was perfect. I was very glad I got the size 6 as the 4 would not zip all the way up on me. The 6 was tight but very flattering and the dress was just beautifully made. So many compliments. Would highly recommend!

I rented this for a Christmas party and though a family medical emergency meant I didn't ultimately end up attending, this dress did no disappoint! I will note it fits quite snugly, so choose this if you aren't planning to gorge yourself! As always with Marchesa, this dress is a piece of art.

I really loved this dress! It’s a fitted style that hugged my curves nicely without feeling too tight. I normally wear a size 12, but the 14 fit me perfectly. I'm 5'2" and the length was just right. I did need to use double-sided tape to help keep the straps in place, but once secured, everything stayed put. The dress has such elegant detailing that you really don't need to add many accessories.

This was one of my favorite rentals. I was hesitant to rent it for a spring event thinking it was a holiday dress. This dress is perfect for any time of the year. It is form fitting and size 8 was more comfortable. It is a beautifully designed.

I’m a pear shape so finding a dress that fits the hips and bust is sometimes a challenge. The size 6 fit but I would not be able to sit, dance or walk because of the material. The 8 was much better but if I dropped something, picking it up was tricky.

I’m a pretty standard size 6 and this fit exactly right. Fabric itself doesn’t have much stretch so order your actual size. Material is thick and really flattering. There is a slit in the back which makes walking possible. The green coloring on the dress is even prettier in person. Would definitely rent again!

Went with size 6 but usually a 4. Too tight in hips in smaller size. Highly recommend.

Oh my god this dress. I've been begging for a reason to rent it. I got so many compliments in it - even from the bride!! Perfect length even for a short girly like me. It was super form fitting so I didn't need a regular bra and didn't have a problem with the straps. Danced the night away. My ONLY note - the sequins will scratch away at your arms if you're wearing it for hours. But beauty is pain.

It fit like a glove no room for error in this size 8 . I did not wear a bra. Very comfortable but if I were to wear again I would use tape to hold the straps in place .. but not a big problem .. I wore 4” sandals, it was very classy.. picture does not do it justice really ! 5:35 Beautiful dress lots of compliments .. would definitely rent again. TY RTR

I loved this dress and got so many compliments on it! It fit great except my chest. (I’m 34D) My husband had to muscle it zipped at the top. Even with that small inconvenience I highly recommend this dress and would happily rent it again.

LOVED this dress which I wore to a black tie wedding. I’m normally an 8, but this dress is pretty fitted, so I went with the 10 and was very comfortable and able to sit down etc with ease. The jeweled green color was so pretty and I wore white hoop earrings which were a nice contrast (earrings also rented).

I wore this too a wedding and it was perfect. Comfortable, easy to wear and dance in, and it looked great! Apologies for not taking a full length pic. Coincidentally, My daughter ordered a dress by the same designer! FYI: I’m usually a 14 and ordered a 16 as the back up size and ended up wearing it. Thank goodness for back up sizes! (I’m 5’8, 190 lbs, 36E). I’ve gained weight recently but felt beautiful in this dress!

I’m 5’3” and I wore a size 6 to a black tie wedding. The length, fit and style were perfect. It’s just the right amount of texture and sparkle to stand out without being over the top. I felt beautiful and received many compliments!

I loved this dress! It was perfect for black tie as the sequins make it very fancy. It’s such a flattering cut and a great length if you’re short like me and how to worry about gowns dragging the floor. I didn’t find it hard to sit in at all as others noted. Highly recommend!

I wore this to a wedding this past weekends & it was absolutely stunning! So many compliments & I felt incredible. I am so happy I read the reviews and got the backup size in a size-up. That it what I ended up wearing. The dress does not give, so I would highly recommend a back-up size if it’s available. Also depending on your height, it may not be as long like the photo advertised. I am 5’10 and the dress did not touch my ankles. I truly loved wearing this dress!

Loved this dress. Got the 14 and 16 since I tend to be between the two sizes. The 14 fit very well, but didn't have as much room up top for me so I went with the 16. It was overall very comfortable, but began to chafe on my left side. The straps on the 16 were a little too large for me so they kept falling down. Overall, a fantastic dress that I would rent again.

The size 8 fit like a glove! It was perfect with a strapless bra. Worn to a June Wedding on the Hudson River. Form fitting and accentuates curves. The straps were comfortable with a liner to prevent itching. Note: way more of a standing dress due to the fit but I was able to shimmy around to sit at dinner!

Size 4 was a bit snug, but a 6 might have been too loose.

I tried both the 10 and 8 and while the 8 was a tad snug around the hips (took a bit of thinking to get into the car due to this), it fit better overall. Used a bit of fashion tape to keep the straps in place. This dress was so pretty, even the event staff asked me where it was from! Definitely recommend and if I could justify enough fancy events, I might have been tempted to buy.

I ended up getting a size 6 as it was the only size available, and it fit perfectly other than the straps were a tad bit too big (slid down my arm from time to time). I didn't need a strapless bra and the hip and booty area were fitted but not too tight.
