I rented this dress to wear to a Wonderland-themed formal at my college. I usually wear a size four, but I'm glad I took the other reviewers' advice and ordered a size down for my free backup because the four swallowed me whole. Honestly, I was pretty thankful that I had to wear the size two because the four that I received was missing beads in a few places - It looked like it had been poorly taken care of by some renter. The two, however, was in great condition. The fabrics used in the dress look and feel great, and the skirt is very flattering for someone (like me) who has a bit more to love in the hip area. Overall, this is a really unique piece! I'm very satisfied with my rental.

Operas are hard because some people go super formal and others go casual. This dress cut right down the middle-- the length was casual, but the detailing and fabric was formal. Fabric was thick and heavy, great for winter, and the dress was lovely and very flattering.

Metallics are golds, silvers and pinks so I went with rose gold accessories but you can go in any direction. You can wear a standard bra and there are pockets!

Runs fairly true to size, since I am short it could have been pulled up at the shoulders for a slightly better fit on me, but it was not noticeable to anyone else. Loved the detail work on the dress. The texture on the top along with a slight sheen to it, the pockets in the skirt. Overall it is gorgeous, I received so many compliments on the dress. Loved it.

This dress runs true to size or a little bit large. I usually wear a 6, but the 4 was a better fit for me. I loved that you could wear it with a regular bra and no special undergarments. It was super comfortable and even had pockets. My friend who is a 34 DD rented it for a different occasion and looked great. I'm a 34 A, and it fit me perfectly too. So it seems to work for many body types. The shimmery color was stunning, and I received so many compliments all night long. Run, don't walk, to rent this dress!

I have an athletic body type with not many curves. Because of this I think I should have gotten the size two because the straps were a bit large. But over all this is be most beautiful dress I've ever worn. I received several compliments throughout the entire night, and was told I had the most gorgeous dress at the wedding, besides the bride of course!

What a gorgeous dress. I originally ordered a white dress for my bridal shower but it didn't fit and the size I needed wasn't available, as was the case with several other white dresses. So Rent the Runway sent me this dress as a replacement and I'm so glad they did. It is a beautiful dress and I received so many compliments. The material is thick but it is a comfortable dress. I'm typically an 8 but I was not sure how it would fit because there were not many reviews for this dress yet, so I got a 10. It fit well but I think I would have been good with an 8. I would rent this dress again, I loved it so much.

This was the absolute perfect birthday dress! It is so unique and the details are so ornate. It fit very true to size and the colors are really warm and rich. The fabric was lush and it is warmer than you might think. Felt like a princess and highly recommend - it's a really wonderful dress!

I received this dress in 6 and the Nicole Miller Navajo silk maxi in 6L after the original dress I ordered (Marchesa Spices of Morocco maxi) was unavailable at the last minute. I ended up wearing the Nicole Miller. I absolutely loved this dress, but it was big on top. I usually order a 4 and 6 because I am smaller on top, and I needed a 4 in this one, which was unavailable. The dress is gorgeous in person and I would love to wear it for another occasion.

Beautiful colors, detail. Received a lot of compliments! The dress was a little snug from the waist up but not so tight that it wasn't comfortable. Bottom of the dress is quite fluffy which can make you look a little bit bigger.

I was planning on wearing this dress for my rehearsal dinner but opted for a white shift dress instead. I usually wear a size 4 but because I'm a 32DDD, I sized up so the girls would fit & it worked out perfectly. The material & colors are beautiful. The skirt is lovely & voluminous. However, I'm not 100% sure how I felt about the flowers on the top...because I'm well endowed, I felt they stood out a bit more than they should.

Received this dress as a backup when my original order was unavailable. It is a beautiful, super unique dress but I think it takes someone with a ton of confidence (or quirkiness) to pull it off. The skirt is gorgeous. The embellishments on the chest however are major. I'm not talking stitching, more like full on flower-like embellishments that are sewn onto the dress. I found it to be beautiful in its own way, but my husband was not a fan, my best friend hated it and my little sister said it looked like a Christmas ornament dress. Sigh. Needless to say, I ended up squeezing myself into my original backup dress but I was sad I couldn't make this work. Definitely high end, high quality but probably not something you'd choose unless you're a little more adventurous or fashion forward. Fit was very true to size.

This was the backup dress I ordered and ended up wearing to the wedding. I was worried about the sizing and ordered the 2 and that was a mistake for me. It fit, looked great on and was flattering but I would have been more comfortable in the 0. The 2 was a little baggy in the waist and bust but not really enough for anyone else to probably comment on. Nice material, great embroidery and details. I received compliments all night on the dress and its details. Also, it has pockets which was a great surprise! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, unusual fabric and pattern, with rich details. The skirt was too poofy on me, the material a little stiff, and the dress was a little large (a size 2 might have worked better but wasn't available). Also, the colors look very rich and pretty in person but a little washed-out in photographs, and the rosy-pink and greyish-silver spots of color in the skirt didn't seem to go with the warmer neutral colors of the bodice. Not the right dress for me but certainly beautiful.

Wore this to a summer black tie wedding. I am very short so didn't want to risk renting a long dress. This was perfect, and rode the line between black tie and cocktail. It is only fitted at the top to about a high waist. I ordered a 4 and 6, the 6 back up ended up not being available but the 4 was great. It was a little loose around arms/torso because I am so short but I think a 2 would've been too tight. All in all, I loved it! Plus, pockets!!

I love the unique yet classic look of this dress! I've put on a few pounds so I was concerned, but the 8 fit perfect and I didn't feel like a whale (haha). I was comfortable for the night and wore blush shoes with it to give some slight color to an already busy dress! I got so many compliments and love this brand!

This one is a little tight in the bust. It was a good fit overall. I was not sure I would wear it for our date, but it was much more modest when I sat down because of the fuller skirt. I received numerous complements about the dress.

I normally wear a 4 or 6 or size or size small in dresses. Was about 124lbs at the time of wearing this and I'm 5'9. I ordered a 0 and size 2 after reading reviews about the dress being too large. Ended up wearing the 2. As a tall gal I wasnt sure if thr baby doll look of this style would make my legs look too long (by a short cut) for my work gala. It did not! Plenty of length and layering under the skirt is so cute. I was also concerned the v cut back of the dress would require a special bra. Nope! The pockets were amazing to have while working the event. So many compliments on this dress. Every visit to the womens restroom even more compliments.

Absolutely gorgeous dress!! It is even more beautiful in person than in pictures. I typically wear a size 8, and i rented an 8 & a 10. I have very large bust (32H) and the 10 was more flattering because of the extra room. I was a little worried it would wash me out; as someone with extremely pale skin, I rarely wear light colors. However, because it was so shiny and glittery, it looked lovely, and actually brought light to my face. would definitely rent this dress again!

I felt like such a fairy in this dress! I actually called this style the "fairy dress" when I first saw it. It is so incredibly beautiful with all of the intricate details it showcases. It is like a work of art! This style definitely fits true to size. I wore a size 0 and was perfectly comfortable in it dancing all night at my cousin's wedding. People could not stop complimenting this dress either! It is more stunning in person so I couldn't blame them.
