Lots of compliments on the dress. I wore it to a polo match. I had to size up to a 14. I am a 10/12, but it wasn't available. The top was too big but I was able to adjust. Other than that it was great!

It was beautiful and eye fetching. Many, many compliments. The color is fun, the fit was perfect to sit for hours and eat and pockets are always a good thing. Some extra room in chest but bra filled it in. Felt comfortable and old world.

I have been a size 8 my entire adult life so I confidently ordered a Kate Spade in a size 8 with no back up sizes for my son's wedding at the National Arboretum in Washington, DC! The dress fit but was uncomfortably tight in the rib cage. What a fortuitous problem! When I called to get the original dress in a size 10 it was no longer available and I had to "settle" for the Marchesa Notte. The Marchesa Notte was far more beautiful than the Kate Spade! It was gorgeous! I can not say enough positive about this dress! Yellow can sometimes be a tough color to wear but not this dress! The fabric looked like it had been picked right from the flower beds surrounding the wedding. It was also perfect for a late summer wedding. The bust does run large as indicated in other reviews but the lining fabric has stiffeners and stays in it so although I was unable to fill it out, it fit well enough. Someone with a larger bust should be just fine. I received many compliments even from people I didn't know in the hotel lobby. I highly recommend renting this amazing dress. You will feel beautiful and special and the best, you won't eclipse the bride and that was very important to me.

Love this dress, second time renting but unfortunately the bow and pattern were misaligned on this one, so it looked crooked or made me look uneven. Didn't wear as I was planning to be on TV broadcasting in this, sent this one back but will reorder again! The full length picture shows what it looks like when good

Beautiful spring dress in a lovely bright yellow. Fit a little snugly at 12 weeks pregnant and the zipper was a bit finicky, but overall runs TTS. Would definitely order again.

I wore this dress to a brunch/wedding. I received so many compliments all day. The dress is super comfortable and very fun. I normally wear a size 6 but ended up wearing the size 8. I wanted to To breathe and eat. Lol. I highly recommend.

This is the perfect garden party dress! It has a lot of structure, but even on a humid hot day in Central TX it felt great. It was a bear to zip up! I have found with a lot of dresses I have to zip up to waist break put on and then finish zipping. This dress is more gorgeous in real life and Marchesa Notte does not disappoint. I felt lie a princess at my soon to be DIL bridal shower. No bra needed and I am 32-34 DDD. I have recently lost weight and built more muscle, but am 62 and thicker than I used to be and very fit. I lift and do cardio 5 times a week. Love, this dress.

I LOVED this dress. It fit just right, maybe a little on the snug side, but it’s the kind of dress that needs to be form-fitting. I loved everything about it, it’s super well made, but ended up going with a more occasion-appropriate dress instead. I would definitely rent this in the future for another event!

The dress is quite sunshine yellow in person. I'm 56 and it's just above the ankles on me. I have a large chest and very small rib cage and waste. The style work perfectly for hourglass. Love the pockets love the vibrancy. Cannot wait to wear this in Martha's Vineyard for a wedding in a few days.

Rich fabric, unique formal look. Plenty of room in the bust, even though I'm a nursing mom with a bit of baby weight I still didn't fill it out completely. Zipper was a bit tricky even though the dress clearly fit - took 2 people trying together to get it up. Dress had boning in the bodice so it stayed up really well and I didn't have to hike it up at all.

I absolutely loved the way this dress fit. I will say I found it ran a bit small and I wore a size bigger than I usually do, but that might just be because I needed a little more room to accommodate my bust(40G). The dress was comfortable and so much fun to wear. I was worried the ankle length would look awkward on my thoroughly average height (5’6”) but with a big pair of heels it was perfect. I loved the full skirt (perfect for twirling) and felt really glamorous wearing it. The fabric is heavy but didn’t feel unbearable for an outdoor wedding in the August heat. The only con for me was that due to the heavier fabric it was very difficult to steam out the wrinkles in the skirt that it had from being squished while shipping. All in all I absolutely adored this dress and would rent it again!

Near perfect dress for a tea-party baby shower. Gained a little weight (now 180 lbs) so I wore a 14R. Waist was a bit snug and unforgiving, but the top had very little, to no support. Had to pin the top of the dress to my strapless bra. I did get many compliments. I’m not sure I would get it again, but it was a lot of fun!

I sized down with this dress after reading reviews! It was very comfortable. Stayed secure all night. Zipper is very hard to zip as mentioned in other reviews, but it's a gorgeous dress! Elegant tea length! I wanted something different for this wedding and this was it! I was surprised how much my husband even liked it!

Lots of compliments on this, it fit perfectly, and it has pockets :) My one issue was that the zipper was so difficult to get up that I had to wait until the event (I live alone) to get help with it. And had her unzip me in the taxi, too. I messaged RTR since this was a replacement for another order (and the other had a missing decorative button) and was told to hit the replacement option again. It was not in fact available on the app, and I also didn't want to pay shipping again and risk it.

Pros: Beautiful dress, has pockets, by Marchesa, not too long (and I'm 5'1") Cons: The back zipper is so tough and gets easily stuck!!

I loved the style and color of the dress but the boning made the 14 to tight in the torso and the chest to lose in the 16 I used tape to keep the girls covered. It was a little long for me even with heels but im only 5'3"

I had a blast wearing this modern day princess dress to a hot summer wedding. It was true to size through the waist for me (29/30" waist 6R athletic build). I agree with other reviews that this dress is very large in the bust. Even my 34D cup with a padded strapless bra didn't fill the top all the way and I used fashion tape to keep it closed. Would recommend to DD and up ladies but it's so fun to wear!!

Wore this to a Spring wedding and I received so many compliments! This dress was a little tight in the waist and a little larger in the chest, but with a padded strapless bra, it worked wonderfully! I don't think this would work for anyone shorter than 5'5". I am 5'7" and it was almost too long to achieve the tea-length look.

Beautiful pattern, but far too long for a petite frame (I'm under 5 " 5 ') even with heels. The neckline is a bit misshaped--not exactly sweetheart. Even as a G Cup, I'd size down.

I should be solidly between a size 6 and 8 based on marchesa measurement charts, and this dress (sz 6) was huge - unflatteringly too large at the waist and GAPING throughout the entire bust. I could have fit some literal melons into the bust. Had to tape myself into the dress and spent the evening very conscious of the fact that some drug store body tape was all that standing between me and flashing my entire family. Couldn't wear a bra- much less the proper undergarments that would make a vintage-style dress like this shine, bc it was gaping and sagging so bad that you could see them all down the back. This poor fit through the bodice also meant the hem fell a bit, so was a bit longer than tea length. Otherwise, despite the fit issues and the very wrinkly fabric, the dress itself is pretty and I received compliments (formal NE coastal wedding). I didn't trust the reviews that talked about how big the bust was - I thought I could get around it with the right undergarments- but nope. Too big and no way around it.

This dress had a lot of potential. The texture and color is gorgeous, but the length was awkward. I am 5'7" and it felt too long. But the major thing was I could pull the bust out about 3" from my actual body. I didn't wear this because I am sure there would have been people seeing right down my dress.

This dress was AMAZING! Compliments all night long and after. For an afternoon outdoor wedding this was a perfect dress. I am a true size 4 but have a large chest for my size and have difficulty with strapless dresses (too small on top). This fit perfect - maybe even a little extra room. I felt beautiful all night - perfect combo of fun and classy. Would rent again.

Showstopper dress perfect for summer.

This dress fit perfectly although I ordered one size down knowing that Marchesa runs larger than true size typically- and it fit like a glove. No slippage at the breasts. Did run longer than expected- a little longer than tea length so anyone under 5'6 might want to reconsider unless you want it to go to the floor.

Beautifully made dress! Got compliments all night and the next day. Paired with some Alexis Bittar green and blue earrings. Has pockets and ribbon is more purple in person than red as it appears in the model photo. However, it is large in the chest area (34C). I'm normally a 4-6, rented the 6 first but it was way too big. The 4 worked great and wore a padded strapless bra to fill it out.

Great look and the earrings were the perfect touch to rent as well. A little small for a big busted girl, and by the end of the night the boning was bothering me, but worth it!

This dress had a terrible zipper. And especially if your girth is kind of large, it took my husband and daughter to hold it together and zip it up. I actually went up two sizes just to fit the girls, but I had so many compliments on it and it was gorgeous once it was on

I wore it for a late summer outdoor wedding. It was a perfect fit at the hook at the top and a smidge snug around the waist. I got many compliments throughout the night and I love a dress with pockets. The only downside was the stays were very short so after sitting and dancing and eating they were starting to poke my midsection. Had I gone up a size, I wouldn't have been able to fill the bust. Overall, I liked it but wouldn't get it again for my shape.
