Loved this dress! Got so many compliments!

This dress was a huge hit! Rented for a semi formal wedding & got so many compliments!

I originally ordered the black in a 12 but I needed a size up ( I just recently had a baby). Anyhow, they had a red in a 14. I was skeptical about the red but it was fantastic! I felt so confident and received many compliments. This designer is one of the best and her dresses are made for curves. Must RENT.

I like that this dress had a structured front and you did not need to wear a bra. The nude liner on the sleeves shows at the top... i'm not sure if it is supposed to or not, but there was no way to hide it. The fit is great, and it's a fun length- the slit in the back is flattering. I found it to be a really fun, feminine dress that was a big hit.

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I didn't want to take it off. The only small issue I had with it was the elastic around the shoulders. It would flip out and bunch incorrectly. Luckily I had a seamstress on hand who made it work perfectly. I received so many compliments throughout the night. It's definitely a statement dress!

The dress ran a little small. I tend to wear an 8/10 and I probably could've sized up to a 12. The 10 was comfortable while standing but the boning made it a bit uncomfortable when I sat.

I rented this dress to wear at a summer wedding, and lots of ladies were wearing red or florals. This dress got compliments all night, and they continued into the following week following my social media post (it counts because I never get comments on my outfit on social media, haha). I usually am a size 4, but rented the 2, and it stretched in the bottom throughout the evening, so I'd suggest sizing down. The arms were a bit tight but I also stitched them a bit due to the nude lining showing (which other people mentioned). My quick fix allowed it to not show that much. I would definitively recommend this dress despite the sleeves

This dress was absolutely beautiful. I wore it to a fundraiser gala that was a mix of cocktail attire and formal gowns. I'm 125 lbs, 34c so I went with the 4r. I'm 5'3" and you can see the R was long on me...other than that, it fit perfectly. The upper bodice is a corset so I didn't need to wear a bra, and the dress over all is beautifully and well made so I didn't need shapewear (about 75% of the time I do). I had to iron the bow because it was no longer attached to the belt, it looked like it had been sewn on at one point but it was no longer attached causing the bow and its tails to become wrinkled. This was an easy fix. I would absolutely rent this dress again and highly recommend.

Fit is comfortable. Zipper is a challenge at the waist. Constructed beautifully. The grosgrain ribbon at waist was folded and wrinkled upon delivery. Took it to cleaners to press out. Lots of compliments!

I got so many compliments on this dress. It was also surprisingly comfortable! Plus, it looks like the dancing girl emoji! Ha!

Marchesa runs small, so I sized up from my normal 10 to 12 with great success. Didn't need a bra.

Fit was great , length perfect for my height. Sleeves were a bit tight but overall loved the style and color .

The fabric has no stretch in it, but the dress fit great so it wasn’t a problem.

Such a lovely dress, will make you stand out in any room. The boning ensures that the top of the dress stays up and supports you. Perfect midi length to remain classy but figure is so sexy and beautiful on your curves!! Only con is the underside of the off the shoulder piece kept showing- would suggest dressing tape!

What a beautiful dress!!! This was my first time using RTR and I will definitely be back for more events in the future; it was soo easy and I got a beautiful dress! Even my backup style dress (which was also by the same designer as this dress-Marchesa Notte) that I got for free was beautiful as well— I was so sad I couldn’t wear it but hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to rent it again. I am usually fluctuating anywhere between a 2-6 in dress sizes (usually just 2-4 but if it runs really small I get a 6) depending on the cut, fabric, fit, etc. I believe my TRUE size is a 4 so maybe this dress runs a little on the larger size because I ordered a 4R as my size and I got the 2R as my free backup size; I actually ended up wearing the 2R to my event. The 4 fit well but the 2 just sucked me in a little tighter so that’s why I went with that size. Loved the dress! Got so many compliments and everyone flooded my inbox asking where it was from after I posted pictures on Facebook and Instagram of me in the dress. Definitely recommend.

I wore this for a CMA after party and a complete stranger walked right up to me to have a five minute conversation about how much she loved this dress. It really is that stunning. Stands out as it's a bright red, but very classy. I am a 40D so it was a bit tight in the chest area but did fit. I'm also 5'1" so you can see the length here in the photo. Right above my ankles.

Rented this for a photoshoot/wedding. I wore it for the shoot, but not he wedding. It was gorgeous, but I was a bit self-conscious about it being fitted around my gut. It was horrible, but I put on a couples lbs and wasn't feeling my greatest. The dress itself it beautiful and very detailed. It fit true to size and hugged the body very well. IG: @noellevenegas

Pros: Beautiful, thick and vibrant lace. Photographed well. Cons: I never knew that boning could break but by the time I got to the venue the boning in the front of my dress popped out through the lace. Also as is the case with the other Marchesa dresses I've rented, the zipper is stubborn around the waist area. Seems like cheap zippers with luxury fabric.

I've been stalking this dress for a while and was so excited when my size became available. The color and lace are beautiful and was easy to dance in. I would have given it 5 stars if the shoulder straps were more comfortable. It was tight around the arm and the beige inner lining kept showing. Other than that, this was a phenomenal dress!

Fabulous dress! The color is amazing! And it fits like a glove. There is no room for carbs in this dress! The hem is actually a high-low which is not shown in the pictures. Had a bit of trouble keeping the elastic from showing on the ruffle sleeve- but it is nude colored and blended in with my shoulder (very minor problem BTW). LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. No bra required. You will not want to send it back.

The dress fit great overall. The only negative was the off the shoulder area. The nude liner was visible when worn and I had to constantly adjust and tuck the lace to hide it.

This dress was beautifully constructed with exceptional details and fabric. The fit was a little tight, but did fit my frame. I am 5’3”, 120 lbs, 34” bust, 27” waist, 37” hips. The ruffles added great balance to my small top and the boning provided great structure that accentuated my waist. I was worried that the length might hit at a bad point on my shorter frame, but it looked great. Loved this dress, but ultimately did not wear.

Loved the dress, I got a lot of compliments. It fit a little loose at the top for me, but overall it was a great dress.

classy and gorgeous details

I have never felt more glamorous! This dress was incredibly comfortable (dancing and sitting for long periods of time) and oh so flattering (especially around “problem areas”). I received compliments ALL DAY. My only minor complaint is that the lining on the sleeves does pop out from time to time. I will absolutely be renting this dress again!

Fit was a little snug at the waist with the ribbon, but still fit like a glove and looked beautiful. I wore another Marchesa dress to the wedding and wore an 8R which was interesting since this was a 10 and was a bit snug, the other dress in the 8R was more comfortable.
