I ordered this as a back up for a wedding I was attending. I ended up going with the other option but it was so close! The wedding was evening black tie so I went with the more formal option. I really loved this dress and how it hugged my curves. Would absolutely order again for another event. Definitely not your typical ball gown.

This dress made me think of Ever After! It was a statement gown with all the details! From the beautiful embroidery to the glitzy lining. Overall it ran small but there was ample room, if not a little too much in the chest. It was very fun to dance in and has the perfect twirl factor.

Ok I read the reviews and sized up TWO sizes. So worth it!! Usually always an 8 in dresses these days but this one I did the 12R based on reviews and it worked perfectly. So perfect for a summer black tie wedding!

Loved this dress. I had to size up for my bust and was unable to wear a bra because it was way too much cleavage with one on. I didn't add accessories be user the dress already had so much going on. My only complaint was the back petticoats didn't close so I had to safety pin them together for aesthetics.

This was a great dress for a 1920s formal affair. I had a custom headband made with it. The cut was very low so be prepared for the girls to play if you're a c cup or more. I received compliments all night!

Great detailing and a perfect fit at the high waist paired with a wider skirt which meant it looked good and felt comfortable all night long. Special enough for a black tie in Italy!

I have a large chest and it was difficult to zip- so maybe order up a size. Other than that it was comfortable and very unique.

This is a Perfect rental dress! I would never have tried this dress on, or bought it.....but it worked! I enjoyed wearing this three tiered long dress to dinner. The embroidery is beautifully illuminated against the navy back ground. My large breasts were Definitely pushed up & out, but it was a fun date night dress!

A lot of fabric- a bit heavy but worth the weight- the metallic underneath makes the dress shimmer.

Great fit-- no need to wear a bra, even with 36HH! A little warm because of all the layers, but loved it overall! It's also stretchy underneath for those of us with some curves.

This dress was stunning! I am usually a 10 or 12 and the 12 fit great. It was a little loose on top, but the 10 would have been too small on the bottom because the lining is pretty form fitting. I was able to wear a normal bra which was also great. So many compliments and it was so different - many people told me the dress was literally a work of art! Perfect for a black tie or black tie optional wedding

I haven't worn a gown this EXTRA in a minute, but I'm glad I spent TIME on it. I'm a flex between a 10-14, and really glad I went with the 14R with this gown. It was comfortable and form-fitting, hugging in all the right places, and tiered-design flatters! It's a bit booby for chestier women but was very classy. The embroidery is stunning, and set this apart from a typical black tie gown. I'm 5'4 and this dress hit me perfectly when worn with a chunky 3" heel. On my "rent again" list.

I rented this dress for a coworkers wedding and I honestly can say with the excepting to the bride I think this dress outdid every other women's dress ! Got so many compliments and it's one of a kind. Fit was great! True to size and the details and everything about this dress is on point . I'm 5'2 and would think this dress would look overwhelming on my short small frame but it did not !

This fit me perfectly. I loved the neckline cut, the embroidery is SO detailed, and it's just such a unique dress. I got compliments non stop. I'm a 36B and the top was a bit loose but I wore this with a good strapless bra which filled it in where I couldn't haha.

I can't believe how much I loved this dress. It is SO far from being my typical style (ruffles and embroidery and anything not body conscious is really not my thing--this dress has all of that). It's much more flattering than you would think. The waist fits like a dream and gives you shape. Didn't have to wear a bra OR spanx, so that was a dream. Photographed well and lots of compliments. Def size up if you're between sizes-I'm an 8 or 10 and I needed every inch of the 10 in this.

Got really well and loved that I could wear a bra with it. It was a little snug on the lining and was short on me but it was still a hit and super gorgeous in person.

I love this dress...it really different than anything I’ve worn. I’m pear shaped so had to size up to a 12 for the bottom to fit...the lining is a bit fitted. The 10 fit much better in the top, but I was able to wear pads to help the 12 fit better up top. It’s a low cut dress so for chestier people it may be too revealing. It also ran a bit short on me...I’m 5’6” and my shoes did show like the models. I am a creative soul so the shimmer lining and tulle layers, embroidery just made me happy!

I wore this dress to a pretty formal NYE party, which felt like the perfect occasion. The dress itself is gorgeous, with beautiful details. It made me feel like I was at the Oscars. I sized up to a 14R because I was afraid that my boobs wouldn't fit inside. The length of the dress was utterly perfect - it scraped the floor when I was barefoot and just showed my feet when I wore 3-inch platforms (I'm 5'4 and a half, for reference). As you can see, I'm really busty, so I was truly worried about this outfit, since I never go braless and strapless bras never work for me. The dress wouldn't zip up because of my boobs, so I had to literally PULL THEM OUT, get my boyfriend to zip up the dress, and then stuff my boobs back in. It took 10 minutes and I think I traumatized my boyfriend in the process, but it worked! I went braless for the first time in like... ten years, and the boobs stayed up all night! They were truly stuffed in, but they stayed in place. The body part of the dress was actually pretty loose, since I'd sized up for my chest, so I could move really comfortably. I felt great in this dress and didn't feel like I was in a constricting thing at all. This was obviously a very booby look that I probably wouldn't wear to like... a wedding, but for this party it was just right. So, I'd recommend you to size up if you're curvy. You can't wear a regular bra (and honestly not sure a strapless would work either), so plan accordingly. Have someone on hand to zip you into this thing. In the end, you'll feel beautiful!

Beautiful fabric. Could not wear a bra and fashion tape didn't hold. Was falling out and uncomfortable all night. Might work better with larger chest to hold fabric.

I rent this dress for my daughter for a photo shoot for her birthday, it was cute!

Fit very well. I didn't wear a bra and it covered and stayed nicely. The length was a tad short not much but would prefer it a bit longer as I am 5'11. It really didn't look to short to anyone. The stretch liner underneath was a nice. Gold shimmery surprise. You can't see it but it has butterflies on the dress embroidered with the flowers with made for a great spring dress and Easter especially.

I love, love, loved this dress and got so many compliments on it. It was not the most figure-flattering dress I tried on (because of all the layers of fabric), but it was so fun and different I just had to wear it. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 8 instead of my usual 6. The 8 fit in the hips - even though the dress is very flowy, the lining is straight and narrow - but the straps were a touch too long and I definitely had extra room in the chest (but that part wasn't noticeable until I really got dancing).

A little itchy and the skirt is really poofy. My boyfriend called it a lampshade. The butterflies really stand out and all in all just not a fit.

Did not (could not) wear this dress- I'm between 14 and 16 but could only find a 14. After trying it on I KNOW not even the 16 would fit. Felt like I would need like 4 sizes bigger, not even close! Definitely size UP. If you are between sizes go up one after that.

the lining of the dress runs small and would not fit the hip area. If you are hippy, order larger.

Very forgiving - the plunging neckline draws attention to your face and neckline, the layers hide your waist and hips if you're carrying a little extra weight! Not form fitting, but elegant and has nice draping. I'm 5/5, 145, 34B (couldn't update my profile info, so added here)

Loved the fit and the style. I felt really pretty and feminine in this gown. If you have a smaller frame you could wear this gown because it wont consume you.

This is my most favorite RTR dress ever. What you might not be able to see on the screen is the lining, it is a metallic lining, so there’s a shen and a depth to the dr3s. It looks really lovely with the embroidery on the dress. It’s very “fairy tale.” But, the best part is that you don’t have to wear a bra or any control garments. You can breathe and eat and dance and twirl and everything is hidden that needs to be and accentuated that needs to be. Yes, your cleavage is on display. But, that’s all that’s on display and it really lets you just be. Nothing was tight or itchy or needed adjusting. It was just a darn near perfect dress.

This dress is gorgeous. Like to die for elegant, classy, statement - but also too small. I got my regular size and I think it ran 2 sizes too small. I couldnt even get the back zipper to touch. For reference, I got another dress by the same designer in a similar style and same size and while it was too small I could zip it.

This dress was lovely in person with really beautiful detailing of the flowers. Unfortunately, a bit too snug for me in the waist, as the fabric has no give in that area, though the rest of the dress felt a bit more roomy. I think a size up would have fit fine in my case, and I'd say overall it runs just a little bit small. Especially for those who carry weight around their midsection. Otherwise, I'd imagine it's true to size.
