The fit was great and even though this was my backup dress it fit the occasion better than the original gown. Got tons of compliments and it wore well. Love it and I felt beautiful in it..I'm usually an 8 but wore a size 10 in this dress.

Rented this gorgeousness for a black tie event. Very comfortable, no bra needed even with my 36DDs. The tummy panel is very snug so if you're self-conscious in that area maybe not a good first choice. In the pic I was wearing shapewear around my torso. The sheer and lace combination is divine and the tulle skirt twirls a bit at the bottom when you spin around! I'm 5'4" and in the photo weigh 160lbs for your reference and I SIZED UP and wore the size 12 when I'm usually a size 10. 3" or 4" heels are a perfect height. Definitely a head-turner and red carpet ready! LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress!

This dress was absolutely perfect. It was so comfortable and fit perfectly. The bottom wasnt heavy as I had been expecting. I never wanted to take this dress off. Highly recommended.

I am 5'2" and weight 129 pounds and have a large bust, the petite sizes in the dress were not available. I ordered a size 4 and size 6. When the dresses arrived, I thought they would be way too long but once I tried them with platform high heels, the size 4 dress was fine. The 4 was a little snug fit, the 6 was more comfortable but a tad too long especially for dancing.

My 2R fit perfectly with heels. It wasn't as form fitting as I'd imagined it would be but still looked really, really good. I wore this to a formal gala and felt quite elegant.

Okay, so I absolutely LOVE this dress and I felt beautiful in it! I ordered a size 6L and 8R. Both sizes fit great, but I ended up wearing the 6L because I liked that it hugged my curves a little more. I wore this dress to cover the red carpet for an award show. I also attended the award show. I received compliments the entire night, which made it even harder to return the dress the following day. If you want to light up the room, then get this dress! I definitely recommend it. By the way, I'm 5'8", 140lbs, and have a slim build but I'm hippy :)

I wore this dress for my senior prom. I choose it because it was everything I'd dreamt of for a prom dress, and it delivered. It fit perfectly, and the details were all beautiful. It was surprisingly comfortable too, I never wanted to take it off! SO many people complimented me and this dress all through prom night and even in conversations after regarding who was best dressed at prom. I definitely recommend this dress!!

The dress fit well, although I have a smaller bust size than normal for my figure, the dress worked out perfectly. I was scared it wasn't going to work out around the hip area but it did so well! Loved this dress, felt like the belle of the ball.

i have a very curvy figure despite being a size zero, the waist didn't quite fit. and was a bit tight at the breast but still looked dazzling. the pattern is great and I highly recommend this dress! I was very happy with it!!

I rented this dress for our annual Oscar party and it was great! I had rented a 4 and 6 but the 4 fit perfectly! I wore some pretty high heels to compensate for the R height but it wasn't a big issue though be careful as the netting of the bottom can get caught on heels. This dress is beaded and sparkles brilliantly all through the bodice and looks even better than it photographs!

I recently lost weight so I didn't know what size would fit. I got an 8 & 10. Both fit but the 10 was more comfortable. I felt so so wonderful & beautiful in this dress. People were complementing me on the dress, even a week after the event people remembered my dress. I am short but with platform heels the dress did not drag. I even did the Katniss Everdeen twirl in the dress. This dress is a show stopper!!

I'm more of a size 0R but they were all gone so i just got the 2R bc of my chest size. I don't have any curves to fill the dress out so i had to safety pin the bottom in the back to bring it together & show some shape. Overall it was perfect for my senior prom!

I wore this to my senior prom and loved it. The fit was true to size and a very flattering shape. The bodice was a little bit itchy and uncomfortable by the end of the night, but it was nothing unbearable. I wore it with 4 inch heels and the length was just right.

After the dress I had originally ordered was retired , I was offered a new dress and accessories for no extra charge. I ended up receiving four to pick from! I ended up picking wearing this beautiful gown and got many compliments from people I didn't even know. It fit well but it seemed to have a little extra mesh fabric along the neckline. The dress is more form-fitting, which makes it harder to move, but it's not completely restricting. It fits true to size and the length was perfect. I loved the sheer top and detail of the gold roses.

This dress is amazing! I ordered the 2 & 4 but ended up wearing the 2. It was a little loose around the chest and legs, so I wish I would have ordered the 0 to compare; however, it fit like a glove around the torso, and was very easy to dance/walk in, while being surprisingly comfortable. This dress made me feel like I came straight off the runway & definitely made me stand out among all the other typical beaded prom gowns. The only con about this dress is the length; I'm 5'2 & wore 4" heels and the tool at the bottom would get caught in my heel almost every time I walked. But overall this dress is INCREDIBLE and I didn't want to take it off! I will definitely be suing RTR for my next prom/event!

This was a replacement dress for a dress that didn't show up. I'm glad it didn't! This dress fit me perfectly, was beautiful, comfortable, interesting, elegant, flattering...I got compliments all night at the White House Correspondents Dinner After Party and danced the night away. I could live in this dress!

The dress fit like a glove, and fits nicely around the hips without constricting your movements too much. The length was a little long in the front when I was wearing 4 inch heels, but it didn't cause any problems as long as you held it up a little bit. The dress is truly yore beautiful in person, and the beading and embroidery is amazing! The one thing I will say is that the black cloth underneath did not cover my bra, and the back was too low to wear one. I used stick on things that just gave a little support and they worked amazingly. It definitely stood out at prom!

I loved it. I was so concerned about it fitting but I'd say it fit true to size. I've always rented a 2L from RTR and, of course, it fit perfectly! It was comfortable to dance in for hours and I went up and down stairs okay. I got lots of compliments and felt great in it. It was 80 outside and while I thought I would overheat, the dress is actually much lighter than it appears it would be. The dress was not very long and if it hadn't been for the black overlay, it probably would have been a high-water. I wore it with 2.5 inch heels then switched into sandals. Both looked great. Definitely would rent again!

I wore this to a winter formal for my local bar association. This dress is a stunner. The fit was fabulous and I received so many compliments. Overall the length is a little short (I wore flats - I'm 5'6") so if you want to rock a serious heel and are over about 5'3" look for the long length.

It's surprisingly sexy for a long gown. I think it's the peek-a-boo sheer lace at the top and the back. Felt like a million bucks.

I LOVE this dress and hated to send it back. It was extremely flattering on my hourglass/pear figure, showing off my curves without being scandalous. I normally wear a 4 or 6, but almost wish I had rented the 2 as my backup, as the 4 was slightly large. I'm fairly short and was able to wear low heels with this dress, which is always a plus as most long gowns require giant heels for me. I was also able to wear a normal strapless bra, and didn't find that it showed at all through the night. The dress is so beautifully made, from the multi-tone gold thread embroidery, to the intricate beading at the knee, to the flowy layers at the bottom. I got lots of compliments. And best of all, the dress was totally comfortable -- no scratching under the arms, no need to constantly pull and tug to readjust. I wish I owned this dress!

This is just stunning - the lace is embroidered with different colors so it totally pops. I got so many compliments and felt really good the entire night. On the con side, the exposed lace can be a little scratchy, and it's definitely a form fitting (ie, hard to move freely) dress. But definitely worth the modest suffering involved! Virtually no embellishment required via jewelry since the dress has so much pizzazz.

I thought the 6R was a little short, I could see my shoes and that's a pet peeve of mine. So I wore the 6L with 4 inch heels and it was perfect! It was easy to dance in and I was complimented over and over. It was a wonderful dress.

I usually wear a 4 but always size up in formals. This dress was no exception. In my About me I'm 128lbs but with holidays was more 134lbs if that helps. I wore the 6L and because it was Mardi Gras, wore wedge sneakers. If I had worn my regular 3-4 inch heels, I think it would have run short. For this party, it was perfect. This was my replacement dress for a size that they didn't have on my original order. I'm so glad they sent it because my first choice was so boring!

I wore this for a small pageant at my university and I have never before felt so confident in a dress! Up close, the black might look dark brown, but it clearly photographs so well. I chose OR for my height, and even with my tallest heels, it still dragged a tiny bit, but it was manageable and I never tripped. I was told that my dress stood out from everyone else's, and it was even called "the best dress" of the night! Thank you Mars--the stylist who helped me pick this dress out when I was stuck between an black and white dress and a gold dress--this was definitely the perfect dress and incorporated everything I wanted!

This dress takes your breath away on, yet it is very classy for a formal affair. The bottom is awesome on the dance floor as is sways with you and fans out with spins. The dress give you a great figure, and is firm material to give a little support to pull you in ;) It is a comfortable dress, I was the host and speaker for the affair and I never had the dress be in the way of functioning. You will not be disappointed with this amazing dress.

The fit was accurate for a 6. I'm 5'8" and got the long size so I could wear heels. It was a really impressive look and was easy to dance in. Definitely put me on the best-dressed list.
