I had exchanged the 2 for a 0 so that it would fit like a glove, I didn’t even need a bra since there is very little stretch and it’s thick fabric. I got so many compliments, even with everyone else in sequins. Pictures don’t do it justice, I loved it! So Christmas-y!

I rented this dress for my goddaughter’s black tie wedding on 9/24 and it has to be one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever worn. The artistry is exquisite, including the colors, detail and embroidery. When it first arrived and I removed it from the bag, I was shocked at how well it was constructed and so happy I chose it. The photos you see really don’t do it justice. I ordered a 6R and a 10R as a back up. The The 6 fit me like a glove, but I’m busty and felt like my bust was spilling out of the top. An 8 would’ve been perfect but it wasn’t available, so I wore the 10. It was slightly loose in the bottom and the dress is lined so the zipper didn’t lay completely flat, but nobody else seemed to notice and it worked out just fine. I paired it with some bright red, open toed heels that matched the red in the dress perfectly, and carried a silver clutch. I wore diamond studs for earrings and no necklace as I didn’t want to detract from the beauty of the dress. I was staying in a nice hotel and the day of the wedding, I got an Uber to the venue. I got off the elevator, walked through the hotel lobby to meet my Uber driver, and at least 15 people stopped what they were doing to compliment me, including those working the front desk. For the rest of the afternoon, and long into the night, I heard, “You are stunning!” so many times, it was crazy! In fact, I had so many people tell me how gorgeous I looked, I lost count, but it was definitely in the hundreds and it felt INCREDIBLE! When it was all over, I was so sad to have to return it. If you’re reading this and thinking, “I’m not sure…” Do it! I promise you, you will feel like a million dollars wearing it and you won’t regret it.

I wore this to the Bridgerton Experience and got a ton of compliments. I'm 5'10 and wore the 10L it was just long enough to wear with heels but a touch too long for me to wear with flats.

Wore this dress to a large formal business event. Loved every moment in this dress!! Wish a 12P had been available. I don't wear towering heels anymore, so at my height of 5'4" this dress was a bit too long. Otherwise it was perfection in every way.

I received tons of compliments on this dress. It is just the right amount of fancy. Built-in bra is a plus.

I loved how unique this dress was! This was a backup but I wore it to a formal wedding (to the church) and felt like it was a great middle ground between sexy and church appropriate! You will definitely stand out among the black dresses. The fit was great, I was worried that the sleeves would be too tight but I had no issues.

Loved this dress so much. I wore it for my prom. I am usually a 6 but wore a 4. The 4 was a little tight about the stomach but the 6 was huge on the top so I sucked in and went with the 4. I received tons of compliments and would definitely rent this one again!

Loved the dress, the sleeves were a tad bit tight without give, my arms are a bit large so this may be a personal issue, I went to the designer site and ordered my size I measured for, fit perfectly. Lord of compliments!

I wore this dress for my step daughters wedding and felt unbelievable in it! I usually wear a 14 and could have with this, but I sized up for the length. I think if the long would have been available, the 14 would have been perfect. I received compliments all night long and I may have even looked better than my 16 yr old daughter lol!

Very pretty, not your typical black-tie gown, perfect for a wedding at a botanical garden. The cups are padded and lined. If you're more comfortable wearing a strapless bra make sure it is a plunge style otherwise it will be visible.

Both the 14 and 16 fit, and I chose the 16 for more comfort. I had to wear a wine colored soft bra because the cleavage was too deep on the 16. This dress is stunning, and I felt gorgeous wearing it! I literally received dozens of compliments to the effect that the dress looked amazing on me and was a showstopper, and it was! I wore it for a very special society occasion and absolutely loved renting it instead of buying it for $995!! It is well made and pictures can barely do justice to how gorgeous this dress really is. People asked to touch it! The way it showed in person was like a million bucks ...and the way I felt wearing it was priceless!

Math.... My measurements: Bust 37". Waist 32". Hip 41". Weight: 164lbs. Natural 36D post baby breasts. This was lovely. The dress has breast pads which gave me nice support along with the construction of the dress. The dress has a lot of purple in it which was a nice surprise too. The dress may look like "a lot". It is. Wear it anyway. :)

Even fit large chest with no issues. SO many compliments!

It a was far from tight. But would have been uncomfortable in my regular size. Absolutely gorgeous.

So many compliments! I wasn't sure about this one when it arrived and husband didn't like it at all, until I put it on! It was absolutely perfect. The colors and unique design of this dress were a stand out! I have rented Marchesa before and have NEVER been disappointed with her style and quality. I will be renting her dresses again for weddings this year. P.S...body type was hard to pick because I'm not very curvy nor athletic or straight but this dress made my body look the perfect type!

Gorgeous designer dress that I'd love to have in my closet! I usually wear a Size 6 but am closer to an 8 right now after being down three months after foot surgery. I ordered the 8R and 10R knowing Designer clothes run smaller. The 8R was a bit tight in the bust, the 10R was a bit loose in the bust/waist/hips but my only option. I'm 5'4" and wore one 2" heel (one ortho boot LOL) and it was too long - had to hold it up to walk the entire time. But, wouldn't have missed wearing this one!

Usually wear a 10 but sized up to 12 as the 10 was a slightly tight. 12 fit well, maybe a little loose. Really vibrant colors and extremely comfortable. Didn’t feel constricted when dancing or sitting.

This dress was absolutely fabulous! My husband loved it and got emotional when he saw me in it. I received several compliments on the dress even after the event! I used body tape to keep the dress in place on my chest and prevent it from moving. I was going to wear flats but the dress was a bit too long so I went with wedges and that elevated my height just fine for the length. I did need help with fastening the clips on the back of the dress. I would not have been able to do that alone. I would definitely consider this dress for a future event and I will definitely use Rent the Runway again!

The only adjustment was that I wore a tank top- sounds bad I know but you wouldn’t be able to tell- as the cut of the neckline definitely is flattering bc but a little too busty for a family wedding! Loved the fit and the length

This dress fit amazing and was so comfortable. I am 5’1 and wire 2 inch heels and ur was a little long. I received compliments all night long. Definitely one of my favorite rentals.

I am in love with this dress! I am typically between a 4 and a 6 and I went with the 4 and it didn’t disappoint. It fit perfectly in all the right spots and was lined nicely. I did not need to wear a bra with this one it gave such great support. It worked great with heels but I’m only 5’4. If I was taller the length would have been too short with heels but for me it worked out great. I had many compliments throughout the night. Would highly recommend this dress.

I literally had women I didn’t know ask to take their photo with me! The colors were so vivid and the embroidery/embellishments impeccable, it was absolutely stunning. I have had my eye on this dress and have no idea how I’ll ever find one I love as much. Granted, it was a bit long even with 4” heels but I’m 5’1” and expected that. I was able to pick up the front when I walked and it was no problem. No need for a bra but be prepared for cleavage if you are full busted. I was able to wear shape wear which just made me more comfortable. I am short waisted and the dress was definitely longer waisted. That may have been different if I were wearing a smaller size that was more “appropriate” for my height or if it were offered in petite. Regardless, it was scrumptious!

This fit well but slightly big in the waste and chest. A 10 was not available so I went with a 12. Used sticky breast inserts to make it more snug.

I wore this dress for a beach formal wedding in May and it was perfect. It was easy to dance in and move around. The fabric surprisingly wasn't too heavy and it was airy. Everyone complimented me in my dress all night. I'm 5'3" and the length was perfect with some wedges.

This dress was beautiful! It was flattering, attention grabbing and made me feel like a celebrity. The material is a bit heavy and there's no stretch, but it hugs the body beautifully and is a total show stopper. I wanted to keep it! I am 5'1" and had to wear 4.5" heels so it didn't drag.

I wore this to a wedding and out to celebrate my 20th anniversary. I would have gotten a 8R but since that wasn't available I ended up wearing the 8L. The 10R was fine but the 8L fit better and it was going to be a long dress regardless. You will be noticed and you will stand out in a good way! It is heavy, good quality fabric. Beautifully made gown. Go ahead and practice connecting the hook & eyes at the top back of the dress. It's a little tricky. You cannot wear a regular bra. I would rent this dress again in a hot minute

This dress fit perfectly and was a huge hit. This is definitely one of my favorite RTR rentals.

The dress was half a size too small for me but it still worked out. I felt very comfortable in it. I didn't want to take it off. It was perfect for the formal event that I attended.

I wore this to a mountain gala and it was gorgeous! The fit was so flattering and I got tons of compliments. It isn't quite as fancy as it looks in the pictures. The seams and waist are crocheted which I loved!
