I loved the unique silhouette of this dress and it was a perfect fun, feminine dress without being too revealing for a formal event. Also, as a bustier woman, it allowed me to wear a full bra. The color was a gorgeous, rich blue color with a great detailed lacy overlay. I got lots of compliments, and it fit really well.

Wore to a formal October wedding & it was perfect in terms of fit, temperature, comfort & overall vibe I wanted. Always been between sizes 6-8 but recently closer to 4-6, so got both. If i had to, I probably could have gotten away with the 6 - it was really just a little too baggy on top (the frilly neck section). Size 4 fit me perfectly! I don’t usually wear this sleek of a silhouette & I did wear a light “tummy control Shapewear” under. I only felt slightly uncomfortable or limited while dancing but that was to be expected (again because of its bodycon fit & fabric has no stretch). I needed help with the fastenings & was surprised at the sturdy quality of the lace. I hope to rent this one again in the future!!

Received many compliments. Easy to wear - Didn't require special bra, etc. Hugged curved nicely but conservatively. However wouldnt recommend for a wedding or fun night of dancing. No give - consider sizing up with your extra dress.

This dress is stunning! The lace work is so detailed and pretty, and the cut of the dress was super flattering. That said, it definitely felt tight and it has absolutely no stretch to it. This made it hard to sit or move in, but if you just need a pretty dress to stand around in, it's great!

The fit was good, but I did not end up wearing this dress for my event. If my first choice had not been so perfect I would have probably worn this though. It is not a forgiving fit, with little to no stretch. The color is really pretty. I didn't love the neckline and found it a little scratchy when I tried it on. If you are between sizes, size up in this.

I'm normally a solid 6 but based on reviews went with the 8. Glad I did, the butt was slightly tight but didn't have trouble zipping or sitting (40" hips). Had plenty of room up top (but I have smaller breasts). The fabric does not have any give or stretch. Kinda wished I'd chosen a different dress for dancing as you can't raise your arms up all the way and your legs are slightly pinned together. It was a beautiful dress for pictures though and lots of compliments.

I loved this dress for the material and uniqueness and the style and length was perfect for a February wedding . I knocked off one star only because of how small it runs . I sized up per reviews but still was squeezing into this dress. I would definitely rent again but next time would go up 2 sizes.

Agree with others to get size up for backup, the ribbon at waistline doesn't allow any grace so wore the larger. Received so many compliments, the blue shoes up more in person which is what I hoped for

The dress was form fitting and comfortable. It could be worn with a strapless bra or a regular bra. I really enjoyed the beautiful dress and got many compliments on it.

I suppose this came bc the dress I choose in an 8 wasn't available, but I'm so happy with RTR's choice for me!! Snug fit which after 2 kids I shy away from now but it was beautiful. And with a pair of Spanxs was stunning!

I couldn't NOT write a review of this. It is absolutely gorgeous and made me feel so glamorous. I've rented a ton from RTR and this is hands down the best thing.

Beautiful dress, form fitting for sure but also flattering. I also didn't think it was too long for my 5'1 frame which isn't easy with long dresses. It likely fits more like a midi on someone taller. Received lots of compliments and felt chic all night. Ps the bag is rented too!

I love Marchesa because in my experience her dresses are so flattering, feminine, and beautiful. This dress fit true to size on me. I'm a little larger chested and had no difficulties with sizing. The blue is so vibrant..deep blue with slightly teal undertones. I would imagine this color would be flattering for most everyone.

The fit of this dress was just right leaving room to move around. I was apprehensive about the lace neck however I experienced no itchiness. The blue color was amazing and overall I felt formal but still professional for my business award dinner.

Very fitted w/ no stretch. Almost didn't take this but SOOOO glad that I did. With shapewear it was perfect. Only mildly uncomfortable part was the seam below the bust -- it's narrow! But the way I felt wearing this perfect dress made the discomfort totally worth it.

Get ready for compliments. This dress is gorgeous! It has a fashion forward couture flair. Very elegant, and the fabric is so feminine and lovely with unique details. There is a bit of give, but not much. I'm typically between size 2 and 4. I went with size 4 and it fit perfectly!

This dress was absolutely gorgeous- I received compliments all night. The details were stunning. The dress runs a little small (I typically wear a 0, but the 2 was perfect). It's a slim cut through the legs, so maybe not the perfect dress if you intend to d a lot of dancing, but it I loved it for the gala I attended. Wish this dress was permanently in my closet :)

I wore this dress for a 1930's theme party. It was perfect. I loved the dress and got so many compliments. The dress runs small. I rented a 6 and an 8 and both sizes were way to small. Im normally a size 6. They shipped me the size 10. It was small as well but I was able to make it work. The size 12 would have been perfect. I highly recommend this dress

Gorgeous dress with lace and great fit.

No Cons. I normally wear an 8/10 but it's not uncommon to go up a size because of my curves. I took the closest size available to a 10 , a 12r and it couldn't have fit more beautifully or more comfortably. A 10 would have been too small.

I absolutely loved this dress. I am usually A size 4, but in this brand I am a size 2. I loved the dress, and didn't have any issues with moving, however getting it zipped was impossible to do on my own, and the bust was a little snug. Hips and waist were great fit!

This one was picked for me by my RTR stylist. I took a chance and tried it on, even though it's not usually what I would pick for myself. Love it! Got endless compliments all night. Loved the color and fit. Be ready to show off your curves! A great over all dress!

My coworker actually picked this out for me at the store. I was hesitant because I normally don't wear anything fitted. I prefer full skirts. I was pleasantly surprised it fit me so well and wasn't as tight fitting as I thought and it's very light. It is supposed to be more midi but since I'm 5'1 it fell right by ankles. I've never had so many compliments in one night! I felt so elegant and glamorous!

This dress is stunning in person, the pattern is subtle but makes the dress stand out and the lace at the neck is a show stopper. Unfortunately I did not wear because of the fit. If you are larger than a size B cup and have an hourglass figure it probably won't work well for you. In my case the waist was a bit loose and the zipper would not zip past my bust. If I could have zipped up the top I totally would have worn this dress as it is absolutely lovely. I liked it so much I would consider finding this dress and having it tailored just so I can have it in my closet!

I love this dress. Needed something for a black-tie charity event and this was perfect. It fit true to size and was very comfortable all night.

The detailing on this dress was stunning. There is piping around the waist and next in velvet, and the blue patterns on the lace really felt luxurious. The shoulders/cap sleeves were a little restrictive, but not so bad you couldn't dance in it. So many co-workers came up and said, "Oh my God, I didn't even realize that was you, but I was just admiring that dress! You look amazing!" It was a bit snug on my frame at a 16R, and I tend to take a 14 or 16 right now at 5'7" and some change and at close to 200lbs. That said, I felt like a zillion bucks. One last note. There is a layer of 'nude' tulle under the black lace on the neckline that may not work for folks with darker complexions. While I am as pale as the tulle, it annoyed me to see that, as I have many a friend who would love to wear that dress that this may stand out on. Jury is out, though.

Pretty neckline. Fit a bit unflattering in the midsection and the slit in back is a bit high for a midi length.

Had a just right fit even after eating a full meal. Beautiful dress that I would've loved to keep for longer. No stretch so if you're in between sizes, go up.
