Perfect fit. I usually wear a size 4 and this size 4 fit me like a glove,..Almost as if it were made just for me. I am a bit hippier than the model (that's what 3 kids will do to you) but that gave me more of a hourglass shape which I usually don't have. I honestly don't have any cons. Sleeve length and fit were perfect, color looked great... if you are even thinking about getting this dress, just do it. You won't regret it!

Gorgeous dress, elegant details, festive swirls of gold. The sheer sleeves are a nice counterpoint to the high collar. Loved wearing it and got lots of compliments, I dressed it down a bit with gold stripy sandals, but one could easily dress it up with more formal gold pumps.

I wear size 00 to 0 therefore it wasn't as fitted to the body but still not quite a sheath. I am only 4'11'' and so it was a bit long but still looked very elegant. I wore it with nude sheer tights and white pumps with gold accents. My only complaint about the dress is regarding the embroidery design on the sleeves, it was a little bit uncomfortable but not to the point I regretted wearing the dress. Great design, great dress!

This dress is so amazingly beautiful in person. The collar is perfection. Wore this to my engagement party and got compliments all night. For girls who are busty- be ready to go up a size or two to accommodate.

Really beautiful. I didn't realize there is detailing on the collar until I received it, and the details on the dress are gorgeous too. I have tried this in an 8 and 10, and preferred the size 10. I recommend going with your most typical size if you are more of a straight and narrow body type, but if you have hips, a butt, or a fuller bust, then size up. I usually stay away from white since I am so fair, but I think it was okay because of the detailing. Definitely a really pretty dress

Wore this for my engagement photoshoot. There was not a big difference between the 4 and 6. The 4 was more flattering on the sleeves and the slightly tighter fit made a difference. The mesh top layer really does not stretch, but the inner material is a stretchy so it gets a bit wrinkled underneath. Not too noticeable but I work in the garment industry so I'm always evaluating quality and fabric! The gold embroidery was luxurious and beautiful.

I cannot emphasize this enough: this dress is a true show stopper. I've had RTR Unlimited for a year now and this is still easily one of the top pieces I've rented. The reviews for this dress were spot on - the details are exquisite, the photos don't do justice for the beauty of the beading. The touch of blue at the color adds another dimension. The only downfall is that, as many other reviews state, for the dress that I received the lining was bigger than the outer layer of the dress. I ended up pinning the inside of the lining so that it didn't bunch up. Runs small - I typically wear a 4/6 and wore an 8. No stretch to the outer layer so recommend sizing up. In the end, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Highly recommend!

I usually wear a 0 or 2 but ended up wearing a 4 in this dress. The other thing to note was that I wore my hair down but because of the details on the dress/collar, my bottom layer of hair matted up from rubbing against the dress all morning. But!! Everyone told me how beautiful the dress was and I had almost everyone there asking where I got it from. It was a real stunner :)

The neck was a little tight at dinner but was easy to undo.

Dress is perfect for formal occasion. Received compliments all night on the uniqueness and beauty of it. Those with a full bust need a size up..usually a 6 and wore the 8 due to tightness in the chest area.

This dress is absolutely amazing in every way. The intricate detail and construction is absolutely high end couture! I truly felt and looked amazing! The dress does run a little small in the rib cage area as I do have a large rib cage, but every where else it was true to size. I would absolutely rent this dress again, and again, and again! It is simply stunning! Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Worn for a fundraising gala. I'm curvy, normally a 12 on top, 8 at the waist and 10 on the bottom so I'm hard to fit, especially in a shift style, but this dress was roomy and flattering even on me. I was repeatedly told I had the best dress of the event.

I wore this for my bridal shower. The little touch of blue - and the detail on the collar are beautiful - so I decided to wear my hair up to highlight these features. Dress fit perfectly; however, it was tighter up top & did smash my chest down.

I wore this dress to a Mad Men Gala. This dress is beautiful and I received so many compliments, some even asked if it was vintage. The details and the beading around the collar are exquisite. The only negative with this dress is the lining is a little too big and stretched out. I think its the design of the dress; my back up dress was the size 8, it had a larger lining that bunched up around the waist and was much longer the outer tulle material.

The dress was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, it did not work well with my body type (pear). It pulled weird around my hips, but going a size up made it too boxy and unflattering. However, the detailing was striking. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that has an athletic or Apple body shape! Pros: Modest, detailing (especially the collar and cuffs), unlimited compliments Cons: bad for my body type, itchy sleeves

I was so excited to finally be able to rent this dress. I had been eyeing it for months. It is even more of a stunner in person. The overall fit was fine; however, at a hippy 5'2", it of course fit closer to my body and my sleeves were a tiny bit long. I might size up next time just to see if it falls straighter at the waist and hips. It is also heavier than expected because of all the gorgeous bead/sequin work. It's far too beautiful of a dress not to rent again; I had it staged in my closet so I could look at it every day.

Let me just say WOW. Beautiful dress. Very elegant with intricate details. The size two and the zero are very similar, but I went with the size two simply because the sleeves were longer, but could have worn either size. The dress is breathtaking. The fabric and the gold embroidery are of very high quality, and you can tell lots of time when into making this dress. I cant wait to rent it again. Highly recommend

I love Marchesa Notte and have rented many of their dresses. They consistently run true to size. I loved everything about this dress, however it is much darker than in the photo. I actually thought the dress had a white underlay and it is definitely a darker ecru ivory color and couldn't be considered white at all in my opinion. The details on the collar are a light blue which I think is super cool and unique. A complete standout in every way!

I wore this for my engagement party, and it was such a hit! I would suggest wearing Spanx with it because it's not as loose as it looks in the picture. Very comfortable, though, and would highly recommend!

This was my first RTR experience. My only complaint is that they forgot to ship me the extra size, which was a 4. The dress is true to size, and recommends sizing up as a backup. I would have preferred the 4 because it would have sat more loosely like on the model. I am petite, but with a more athletic rather than slender build- I'm also a little bustier on top. For those reasons, the 2 was tight fitting on top and a little snug around my hips, so there was a little bunching in the slip. This is because the shift is not supposed to be form fitting, and thus is not designed to hug all your curves. I think I was the only one who noticed- the bunching didn't bulk, I could just see some pleats underneath the sheer material. But this could only be seen in bright light (e.g. the bathroom). Despite the tight fit, the dress was otherwise extremely comfortable. I got SO many compliments, and I mean from EVERYONE: friends, the catering staff, bartenders. I even had several random strangers at the event literally interrupt my conversation with other people to tell me they loved the dress. The dress really stood out in its style and color. I loved it, I only wish I had the bigger size. The length on me hit just above the knee, but I'm very short, so tall ladies can certainly get away with wearing this at a classy affair. The sleeves add the perfect level of sophistication, while the sheer material keeps it sexy but elegant. Just a lovely dress overall.

The dress ran small, I usually wear a 4-6 and i had to wear an 8. Other than that, it fit amazing and was such a beautiful dress. It was so much different than everyone else's dresses. I stood out among my group. The dress was a touch itchy on the arms and the underlining seemed to be bigger than the overlay so i had to pin it in the back so it didn't fold weird underneath. The dress wasn't too long or too short, it was perfect, and the collar was super unique.

I rented this to wear to a daytime charity luncheon. I was the co-chair, so I wanted to go a little fancier. When I received it, I tried on the 10, and it fit everywhere except the bust. I was surprised that the arm length and leg length were perfect. it even fit nicely around my waist on hips. The only thing is that it was so tight on my bust. The jeweled collar and the tightness around my bust made me look strangely top-heavy. It was too much, and extremely unflattering for me.

I rented this dress along with the Vie La V Deco Dynamic Shift. I normally wear a 6 (sometimes a 4) and rented the size 8 because many of the reviews said this dress ran small. The dress fit with the exception of the sleeve length, which was too short. I also found the dress to be very itchy.

I was excited to receive this dress and wear it for a fundraising gala that was being hosted by my husband's work. However, once I tried on the dress, I decided not to wear it. The fit was fine, but I found the sleeves a little rough and itchy for my taste. Furthermore, I felt like I look like a frumpy, middle-aged, Asian bride while wearing this dress - not the look or vibe I was going for. (For the record, I am 32 and Asian.)
