The only bad thing was that the straps got loose and started sliding off of my shoulders on the dancefloor. Otherwise, this dress was perfect.

Fit perfectly

I was the belle of the ball in this dress! It was so beautiful, it caught everyone's attention. I think it got more attention then the bride lol. I had a friend ask me who made my dress and when I said Marchesa her response was, "your wearing f-ing Marchesa??!" Those darn straps just won't stay up so grab a safety pin or hand sew them down and then undo it before returning because they will fall even if you think they won't. Only complaint. Awesome awesome dress!

I rented this dress for an event for local theater companies and it did not disappoint. I love how it had a vintage feel, but was very sexy. The top was padded so no bra or nu bra was needed, but the straps were a bit loose. I ended up using a little bit of double side tape to make sure everything held in place. It was super comfortable, I even wore regular underwear!

Built in bra so no need for one. Perfect for dancing. Quality is rockstar. I loved it bc it was just easy and kind of unique.

I would HIGHLY recommend this dress to anyone considering it. I wore it to a black tie gala - it was incredibly comfy for dancing and very easy to use the bathroom in. Girls were stopping me all night to tell me that they loved my dress and I was getting instagram DM's asking where I got my dress from!! I never received more compliments on a dress in my life. It fits true to size, and was slightly longer on me than it appears on the model (I'm only 5'4"). I would recommend getting your usual size.

Per usual with a rent the runway dress, I received a TON of compliments on this dress (my date had a running tally throughout the night lol) and of course, I felt like a million bucks! The dress fit perfectly, I got both the 4 and a 6. Both fit but the way my boobs are situated, I had a little side boob with the 4 so I wore the 6. The straps did loosen themselves over the course of the night but my date was on strap duty and really didn't mind adjusting them over the course of the night. Overall, I LOVED this dress and would love to wear it again if it fit the occasion.

Birthday

The dress was amazing! I wore it out in Chicago for my husbands birthday. The top was fitted but not too snug and made it feel like I had cleavage (I'm a 34b). The skirt was full but wasn't too overwhelming and was the perfect length for me (I'm 5'10). I would highly recommend!!!

This dress is so beautiful in person. I think the fit is true to size, the only issue I had was with the straps-they are adjustable but tend to loosen throughout the night. It was comfortable as well. It moves really nicely when you're walking. I got so many compliments from random people at the venue to friends literally texting me after I posted photos to tell me how much they loved the dress. Length should also not be an issue-it should be tea length and even on me at 5'2 it was ok.

Love this dress so much! Definitely size down. I'm usually a 6-8 and the 4 fit perfect with extra wiggle room! So many compliments all night!

I wasn't too sure but ended up Loving this dress, so much better on than in the pictures. Pretty black lace and pale pink. I received a ton of compliments. It is Very Low Cut so busty gals beware. There is light padding in the top so bra is not needed and everything stayed put. The 0 and 2 fit very similarly, I wore the 0 as I wanted to emphasize my waist with the fluffy skirt. Overall very comfortable all night! The dress had some signs of wear on the adjustable shoulder straps and zipper area (someone had caught the tulle with the zipper) but nothing very noticeable.

I wore this to an event with a Spanish romance theme and it was perfect! The top portion is fitted and beautiful and the bottom is comfortable and flattering!

Perfect homecoming dress

I love this dress! I wore it to a wedding and felt amazing....definitely stood out in the crowd. The details of this dress are so pretty and fun. The tiered skirt has a little volume to it, but not so much that it swallowed me, and the length was perfect on my 5'7" frame w/ heels. I sized up in this dress based on past experience with Marchesa Note dresses, but feel like I could have worn a size smaller because this particular dress was a tiny bit roomy in the chest for me. I also found that the straps felt a bit long, even when I had them adjusted as short as they could be. Other than that, it was comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pretty, unique dress.

Loved this dress. Endless compliments and great for a night of drinks and dinner at a speakeasy. Loved elegant and feminine. mL runs small so I generally wear a 4 instead of my usual 2.

This was the absolute perfect dress to wear to my friend's Black Tie wedding at a French Inn! The dress was beautiful, comfortable, and made me feel incredible! I was worried after reading some of the other reviews about it not being well suited for girls with larger chests (I'm a 34D) but I had no problems and felt secure all night. Would 100% rent again!

I absolutely loved this dress. So comfortable, fit perfectly. Nice bit of stretch to the top plus built in cup liners. Super light and comfy to wear and dance in. Straps are adjustable and the perfect length - didn't need adjusting like mentioned in other photos. Loved it so much just rented it again for another event!

This dress feels classy and edgy at the same time! I read some reviews about sizing up if you are busty. Glad I did, but had enough support to go braless.

This dress!!! I honestly loved it so much. I felt incredible, and the fit is great. I'm a little bigger on top, so I needed a bra and had a hard-ish time finding something that would support without showing. I ended up wearing a plunge strapless, and I fussed with it a little throughout the night. No regrets though! I am obsessed with this dress!!

Fir me very well. My waist is currently 33.5" and the 14 fit very well- not tight at all. Reasonable room to move, dance and eat, without feeling uncomfortable. I am 5'5" and the dress fell and inch or two above my ankles. As many others have said the straps are quite long but I pinned them and that worked fine to remove slack. This is my first experience with RTR and so far it has been excellent. I have a gala to attend in September and will definitely be renting another dress!

I typically don't wear a dress of this silhouette and length, but I took a chance because it was so unique looking. And, it paid off! It was perfect for an evening/formal wedding. The 8 fit, but the 10 was more comfortable. Other reviewers mentioned the straps being loose and they were. But, I simply tacked them and work perfectly all night. I received so many compliments and felt fabulous!

Equal parts sultry and romantic, this Marchesa Notte lace dress features a corseted bodice, tiered tulle panels and scalloped eyelash trim. I rented this dress for my mother (pictured) who had nothing but raving reviews. Her height is 5'2 and the length fit her a tad longer than tea length. Her typical size runs between a 2 and 0 - the size 2 fit her perfectly. Would not recommend this dress for women with larger busts as the cups are fitted.

I truly felt sexy and confident in this dress. It may show more cleavage than some would like but I'm a 36DD and I got it so why not flaunt it? I looked and felt amazing. The cups are on the small side. I pinned the straps to keep them from loosening.

I’m so happy that I rented this dress. I felt so feminine and so beautiful wearing it, and I got a million compliments. It’s not something that I would normally have picked out but something told me to give it a try, and I’m so glad that I did because I LOVED it once it was on! The dress fit true to size. I’m normally a size 4 or 6 and the 4 fit perfectly. It has a built in bra/cups so there’s no need to wear a separate bra (hooray!), but I found that the cup size did nothing for my chest. I ended up stuffing the bra to add a little umph (I have relatively normal size breasts and have never had to stuff my bra before). I also agree with other reviewers that the straps readjust on their own and fall down a lot, which was annoying but other than that, I absolutely loved the dress and would definitely recommend that you get it. It was the perfect balance of sexy and classy.

This dress fit fabulously!!!!! I wore it to Miss USA and I am 5'9 and have an hourglass figure so I figured I needed the 4. However they only had the 2 and 6 available so I went on a limb and chose those. The 2 fit good and I could have probably gone with a zero. The only problem was that one of the straps broke and (thankfully) safety pinned it to the back of the dress. But that didn't ruin my experience and would highly recommend this dress!!!!!

From the corset bodice to the lace and blush tiers this dress is stunning! I loved that it was midi length to show off a great pair of shoes. I sized down to ensure the corset fit snug to my body.

This dress is amazing! I'm in love. The fabric feels like a dream and has beautiful movement. I am a size 6 usually, but the 4 fit extremely well. The top is fitted, and hips/thighs are much easier which laid very nicely. As others have mentioned, the adjustable straps are great at first, but they slid down through the evening and then slipped off my shoulders. My husband was in charge of fixing periodically. Not a huge issue - still totally gorgeous.

Love this dress, it accentuates the shape of your torso and has sexy lace. I have larger breast so I had to adjust the straps several times throughout the night, but looked stunning.
