This is the first time I’ve rented a dress that is actually long enough on me. More importantly, my husband loved it ;)

loved the fabric, colors and fit. Wore it to a wedding and got lots of compliments. Just wish it had more support for the chest.

This dress is absolutely beautiful and flattering in every way (please disregard my husband's ridiculous pose :P ). The detailing on the embroidery is so intricate, and the lace on the black under-lining is gorgeous as well. I felt really beautiful in this dress and got a lot of compliments. I rented a Long, but probably could have gone with a Regular. The embroidered overlay is an inch or two longer than the lining - I'm 5'7" and wore 5" heels, but I still needed to pin up the overlay by about 3". The straps are adjustable, which is really nice. I have 0 boobs, so I probably could have gotten away without a bra, but went with a strapless bra to feel more supported. I'm a 4 on top and a 6 on the bottom, but I'm glad I went with the 6 - if you have a larger rib cage like me, the 4 would probably feel tight. If you're really petite on top, go with the 4 - the skirt gives you plenty of room on the bottom. It's also a really comfortable dress - definitely one of my favorite dresses I've ever worn!

I saw this at the store in a size 4. Tried it on and I totally fell in love. It was def too big (I'm normally a 0 or 2) but I decided to rent it anyway for a photoshoot with a friend. It is hands down one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever worn, even when it was too big in the bust/waist. 10/10 would recommend & rent again!

This dress fot like a dream! I rented it for a Black Tie wedding in upstate New York and it was absolutely perfect! Im fairly small chested so the 0 worked great for me. Im 125lbs, 5'6 and a size 34B. I would recommend sizing up if you are bigger chested. Did not want ro send this dress back!!

This dress is beautiful. The straps are adjustable which is always a plus! The dress cuts right under your chest so any sizes bump will work. Highly recommend!

Wore this to a fall wedding and it was amazing. I was sad to return it. The only issue I had was the straps were way to long (like other reviews said). I ended up tying them together in the middle of my back and it was perfect. Got a ton of compliments. Highly recommend! Runs a little tight but wore my true size

The fit of this dress was perfect except for the length of the straps. The straps were as tight as they could go but still way too long so I had to take a safety pin to keep them from falling down. The bust is true to size as I am very bit and did not have to wear a bra. The length was a tad long for someone who is 5"2 and I was wearing high heels. But beside the straps and length the dress is GORGEOUS! I wore it for a black tie optional wedding in San Miguel de Allende and it was perfect!

Received a lot of compliments on the dress. I'm 5'3 and wore heels and it was a great length. I did not need a bra since there was support built in.

Very flattering fit. The 8L is very long tho, even wearing 4 inch heels it was still trailing on me a bit.

i rented this for a friends wedding and the fit was flattering and forgiving. the 6L length was great for me at 5'8, and the dress felt true to size. the ONLY downside was that another girl at the wedding had on the same RTR dress, so i got tons of compliments but lots of them were based in "omg you and this other girl have the same dress" -- it's definitely a standout!!

I received this dress as a backup and was excited given all the positive reviews. It did not disappoint! Had plenty of compliments and felt great wearing this.

Gorgeous dress w beautiful embroidery! Wore this to my niece's wedding at a very fancy mansion. Im 4'11 so it was floor length for me while wearing 3 in heels. I also had to hold bottom of dress when walking but it was easy to manage. Like everyone has recommended, no need for bra w this dress. It is a bit tight zipping up to top. Lovely dress!

This was a comfortable dress to wear to a formal event. My chest (38 DD) was pretty exposed compared to the rest of the guests. I think it would work better for a small chest size. Loved the details and high quality.

Highly recommend this dress! The embroidery is so beautiful — I felt like I was wearing a work of art. It felt eye-catching but not too dramatic. I sat comfortably in it for the full three hours of the opera and could have worn it longer. The less-great aspects: hard to keep a strapless bra covered, the straps of the dress were too long and one kept falling down, the zipper was of poor quality, and a bit of the embroidery needed securing. I still adored this dress & would love to rent it again!

I am quite petite, but they didn't have that option in stock for when I ordered. The dress was a little long, but that's what I expected. The dress is absolutely magical; one of my favorite dresses I've ever worn!! It made me feel elegant yet ever so sexy! RENT THIS DRESS YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

I love this dress, but I gave it 4 stars because the straps kept falling down, even at the shortest length, which made the top fall and my strapless bra to peak through. I had to keep pulling it up all night. Additionally the velvet waist line is snug! This picture was taken the day I received it, by the time I wore it the lace top was not creased over. I'm 5'7" and I wore flats with the dress, didn't trip over the bottom once.

This dress blew my expectations out of the water. Pictures do not do it justice. My only complaint is the same many others have, which is, the straps are way too long. Even adjusted to the tightest they could be, I still had to safety pin it which was super annoying all night. Other than that, I loved it and received so many compliments!

Fits true to size- just didn't care for it as a backup.

My waist is not small enough for most of the dresses on here lol. I am a true medium/size 6 in regular clothes yet every time I order from RTR I am suffering getting into an 8! Thank goodness for great customer service and back up dresses because this 10R fit me perfectly in the waist but I had to pin the straps because it was big everywhere else. Worth it though because I got to eat wedding cake. Gorgeous colors, stunning embroidery, lots of compliments.

Very pretty dress. But runs very small. I could wear the 2 but it was uncomfortable. This was my back up dress. Did not wear. Also got weird in the breast area

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. It has a tan slip layer, then black tulle, then black lace, and then the embroidered overlay. The long was nice and long (I have on tall heels and I'm 5-9). I'm wearing it without a bra but I couldn't fill it out because I'm flat chested, so I kept having to pull it up. I was very tempted to buy it because it's just a stunning dress.

I had a baby 6 months ago and was hoping for a flattering dress that hid my still flabby tummy. I got so many compliments! The fabric and embroidery were beautiful. The length was still kind of long with my 3" heels but I didn't mind picking up my dress when walking around or dancing. Loved it and would rent again!

Very detailed lace, pictures dont do justice. I am 5'8 and the long was the perfect length. I felt beautiful and comfortable all night. A little tight on the waist but would rent again.

Loved, lots of compliments, considered purchasing. I don't usually wear strappy bc of bust but the cut made this wearable for me. I'm tall and this was long enough. Colors and material are gorgeous. Wore this to an awards show with celebrities and felt like I belonged.

I wore it with a strapless bra and the zipper is very very difficult to get past the velvet waistband. You will need help dressing.

I'm 5'5" 125lbs and a 32d. The two fit perfectly! Got many compliments. I wore it to a black tie fall wedding in Scottsdale. Loved it!

Dress was amazing - the bottom was three layers of lace! Didn't need to wear a bra. Wore 3.5" heels and it hit the floor perfectly. Would rent again.

I'm 5'1 but the length was fine with heels! Was a bit tight to get the zipper up but once up the sizing was right on. It was a bit low in the neckline so I wish the cleavage was a bit less. Straps are adjustable which is nice

This dress received so many compliments! It was an amazing fit- I wore this to my cousin's wedding at a mansion in Newport, RI and it fit the setting beautifully. The zipper was a little tough to close in the back, it had a hard time closing around the black empire waist band (the band is made of velvet and it's a thick material for the zipper) but we got it! It was comfortable, perfect length for a 3" heel. I'm 5'3, 142lbs and a B cup. The 4 was a perfect fit.

Pictures do not do this dress justice! It was the perfect dress for a March wedding and I received so many compliments. This dress fit perfectly! The loose stomach area allows you to eat and drink as much as you want. There is no need to wear a bra. The only complaint I had was that the straps were a little long but I do have a smaller torso.

I wore this gorgeous Marchesa gown for a wedding in Albania and then again in a photoshoot in Paris. It was an absolute dream. The zipper is a little stiff at the seam, but with some help, it will zip. It's long, comfortable and eye catching.

I absolutely loved this dress! I got so many compliments! I normally wear a size 10 but the 8 fit better because I am a 34B and the 10?seemed too big on top. Very pleased with my rental.
