I always size up in Marchesa Notte because I find them quite tight around the rib cage/bust so I wore an 8 instead of a 6. I love the look of this top, wore a strapless bra and it worked perfectly. The little flair and the details are amazing. Definitely recommend! Best with high waisted pants since the top isn't very long.

Pictures do not do this shirt justice. It is absolutely beautiful in person and it fits perfectly true to size. Do not size up or down. It fits perfectly and is really just beautiful.

The middle is a mesh but not noticeable

purple is very dark, almost black. the lace, pleating, and cut-out detailing were very ornate/delicate (exactly what you expect out of marchesa!); definitely can't wear a bra with this. Ordered a 2 as my back-up size and glad I did - it fit like a glove.

This top is even prettier in person! The detailing at the neck and the peplum bottom were my favorite. There is no stretch to this shirt - I would size up for your backup. This works best for A to C bust sizes. I would wear no bra or a nubra with this because of the way it is cut.

Perfect top for a birthday brunch. The navy details are a little hard to tell except in sunlight but the top was gorgeous and fit like a glove. Am a 4/6 in most items, wearing a 4 here. There is nude colored light mesh fabric over the chest so you're not completely bare

Just a beautiful top for a special night out - can be dressed up or down. I was shocked I didn't need a bra, bc I always need a bra (36DD). It is super low cut, which normally I would not wear but there was sheer lace material over it and it just made me feel super beautiful, sexy and confident. The fit is so flattering! Loved it and would buy it!! Will definitely rent again!

This top is an absolute showstopper. All eyes were on me! I wore this out to lunch and wine tasting for a bachelorette party. I was actually able to wear a strapless bra with it, but I could've gone without. It's a little uncomfortable to sit in because it has a hook and eye closure in the middle of the back, but other than that it was so great!

It does run ratber small and I feel even when I sized up because of the way the shirt goes fitted at the waistline and with no stretch, sitting down makes it uncomfortable but it's so beautiful I didn't care. I wore this peplum blouse for an afternoon brunch with friends to celebrate our graduation. It fit perfectly, the material was soft and breathable, and the lace falls flat and comfortably. The back has a keyhole closure. I paired it with black leggings and slides and wore it on a rather hot and humid day but felt comfortable nonetheless. Great top for date night, brunch, etc. or under a blazer for a work to play outfit.

I have a little belly and the peplum is obviously not an ideal style for trying to cover that, but I should have known. As for my pic, the reason I threw on the jean jacket is b/c I was going out to dinner on a wed night and felt over dressed. I disagree with the other reviews that this can be dressed up or down. In the dead of winter, I rented this top to heat up a date night. Although it was under my jacket half the night, the flirty details could not be hidden. Definitely memorable. A little tight around the chest with the lace material.

The zipper is the toughest part for this top. Wore to work with black slacks and pumps. Pretty feminine lace. Hard to zip up/down if you don't have help around!
