This dress is firm fitting without stretch; yet it fit very nicely!! I adore this beautiful dress!!

I have a big bust and tiny hips and normally wear a 4. It was a little tight over my ribs, but the 2 was amazingly curve-fitting and comfortable. I am very tempted to buy this dress.

It was perfect, mermaid fit, no stretch, very fitted. I wear size 10 & this is a 10-but it is snug, make sure your 2nd size option is the next up, not down. I hosted the party, and didn't sit down much. Sitting was tricky, I needed help up. Many complements!!

I wore this for a fancy dinner and Hamilton and felt like I fit right in. I love the sexy, yet demure peek a boo above the waist. The embroidery is SO detailed and gorgeous. Loved the color palate and it's so flattering. Gorgeous all around

At first I felt like this was a matronly dress. There is something about it that says "mother of the bride." I'm 49 and definitely am neither matronly nor a mother of a bride (yet). But, the detailing is gorgeous, and the fit was perfect. There is a nice high slit in the back so you can walk. And you need someone to help zip you all the way up. The under arm fabric is a little restrictive and you can't just throw your arms up and around without worrying about ripping the fabric, so if you're an exuberant dancer, just be careful. Even though I wasn't 100% crazy about how I looked in the dress, at least 5 people at the gala I attended commented on how gorgeous the dress was, so I guess it stood out more than I thought. It really is beautiful. And the 2R fit absolutely perfectly.

I received SO many compliments on this dress! It fits TTS, and the multiple textures and fabrics make it super flattering. The colors were perfect for a Mardi Gras cocktail party.

This was sent to me as a backup when my choice wasn’t available. I’m 5’3” and the floor-length 0R dresses were waaay too long for me, even in 4” heels. This turned out to be perfect. I echo other reviewers who noted you’ll need a buddy to unzip you if you have to pee. I have the hips of a 12-year-old boy and still couldn’t hike this dress up to potty. Really a gorgeous and memorable dress.

I have been eyeing this dress and hoping for an appropriate time to wear it. I ended up renting it for the sleeping beauty ballet at the opera house. It ran a bit small, are usually wear a size 0, and sized up to the 4. Such a beautiful dress and I received tons of compliments throughout the night

This dress was sent after my preferred dress was no longer available. I wasn't crazy about the style of it- reminded me of a slightly sexy Mother of the Bride dress with all the lace- but other people loved it. It's pretty and fit well tho one negative is that there is not much stretch in the dress. I'm small but my hips/butt are my biggest area and I could not take the dress up to pee, I had to have a friend completely zip me out of it each bathroom break.

Great cocktail dress for a wedding guest, wore with my hair down, dangle earrings and a bracelet and it looks fantastic. It was a little tight in my chest/shoulders.

This dress was so ill fitting. There is way too much material in the tummy area where no one needs anything extra.

I needed the 12 to accommodate my busy. It was a little loose in the waist but looked great! Got lots of compliments and enjoyed wearing it. Had no trouble sitting or dancing in it.

Another Marchesa stunner! Always beautifully made, these dresses make me feel like a princess. There are little butterflies in the design, which is odd, but they're not noticeable unless you're looking at the dress up close. Great fit - the cutout shoulder design still allowed for a regular bra to be worn without issue.

Fit perfectly. I usually wear a 2/4 but am a bit hippy, a 4 fit well. The dress doesn't have any give/ stretch and was a little challenging when I had to go to the ladies room, but so worth it anyway. Marchesa dresses are so beautiful!

This dress fit like a glove! Gorgeous material & unique detail made this a one of a kind beauty. It was my first time going into an RTR location to find a replacement dress (great experience) and tried this one on because it looked interesting and was in my size. It honestly is not a dress I would have picked on the website because the pictures do not do this dress justice. To my surprise, I absolutely loved it once I put it on & my stylist was so helpful & amazing! Definitely one of my favorite rentals because my reaction was so pleasantly unexpected! I can't say enough about how happy I was with this dress! To top it off, no bra needed.

I LOVED wearing this dress. I wore it to a "creative black tie" gala for an art museum. It was the perfect dress to rent (and wear 1x) rather than own since it is so distinctive and memorable. As others have mentioned, it is form-fitting, especially at the hips. I simply pulled it up a few inches when I sat down and it felt comfortable, not constricting. I usually wear size 6/8. This dress was great for me in size 8R. Many complements were had. I highly recommend this dress.

Rented this for my birthday dinner. Usually a 6. The 8 was reaaaally tight, especially in the thighs. Fabric has no give at all. If you have wider hips/thighs, size up!!! Dress was abolsultely gorgeous though and the photos don't do it justice! Loved wearing this dress.
