It was a very fitted bodice and heavy material. I suggest if you have a bigger bust to size up.

I didn't want to take this dress off!!!! So stunning, comfortable, and elegant. The fit was perfect and embroidery incredible. The photos really don't do it justice. Note: make sure you have a good steamer on had for this dress. The material does wrinkle easily, especially in the bag so give yourself plenty of time before your event for this. The zipper was really challenging as well, but mostly because it is so well hidden in the garment. Bonus: POCKETS! Absolutely will rent again.

This dress was amazing! It was a bit snug on me and I usually wear a 4 in dresses, size up. I felt like a princess. I did wear a crinoline I had under the skirt. The only issue I had was the dress I received was shop worn. I wish it was in better condition. It was also very wrinkled in the bag so I had to take it to the dry cleaners to be pressed.

I should have ordered the size zero as i had to hold it up. Make sure you have some padding up there! It is a GORGEOUS DRESS with beautiful material and embroidery. Felt like a true QUEEN.

Was a bit loose in the bust, so if you are a true size 0 it might be a bit big.

The dress fit was good. The bodice was a bit big but it was an amazing and unique dress for my daughters wedding. Received lots of compliments all evening. I love a dress with pockets although I forgot and left my special hanky in the pocket! The entire process was great. It came when promised and even though I was nervous about the fit, after reading other reviews I thought it would be fine. I'm 5' 7" and 165 lbs. the return was easy - just put it back in the box and dropped it off at UPS store (the bag felt too small for two dresses with petticoats). I can't wait to rent another dress. It's the perfect solution to needing something special without paying a fortune and/or keeping it in your closet because you'll never wear it again.

I had to get this pressed at the dry cleaners but if you're good at ironing, you could totally do this at home. The material does wrinkle in the garment bag it's traveling in so be prepared. Dress fit to my ankles, so it's definitely a great length. A bit puffy but perfect for a semi formal event or even a formal event!

I wore this dress for my prom. It was simple and fun. This dress runs true to size but I have a pear body shape so I got a 14 for my lower half. However it was very loose and spacious at the top . There was a lot of room in the breast area even with a push up bra and stuffing it with tissue. I made it work though. I wasn't to the point where it would fall down if I lifted my arms but I was slightly self conscious. Otherwise this was the perfect dress, I felt like a princess in it. There was tool to fill under the dress to make it more puffy. Also the fabric is almost like a light denim. The dress ended about mid calf which was a great length for me.

I absolutely loved this dress! The style and fit is very unique, I was getting compliments all night! Note that the color is slightly different than the RTW provided picture, it's a bit more purple in person. The pockets in the dress were a huge help! They're really big but unnoticeable from the outside, I didn't need a purse all night! But the top is really tight and frequently fell. It's pretty slim, too, so it was difficult to fit for a bigger bust/rib cage. It also came pretty wrinkled and was a major pain to iron, and quickly became wrinkled again. Do not wear in a damp/rainy environment! But overall I loved this dress and would definitely wear it again :)

The dress is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and I felt like a Million bucks! It is extremely long and I am 5'9 plus I had heels on. It was impeccably made and there was a beautiful attention to detail, the fabric was extremely heavy and the under garments retained heat. I had to order a size up. I was very pleased with my rental I did not want to take it off!!!!

Fit was spot on. I'm 5'2 so I went in knowing from previous comments it would be long (IT WAS) so if your a little petite make sure you have your heels! I was going for tea length I got ball gown but it was the hit of the night!! If your are considering this I definitely would recommend you saying yes to this dress!

Totally Loved this dress! I had a TON of compliments and I felt so much like a princess the whole night. The skirt was fun to dance in and the pockets were quite helpful when it came to storing my phone. I was worried it was going to be too much for the wedding but it was absolutely perfect. I'm short 5'1 and it hit my ankle. With my shoes off I was still able to dance without it dragging on the floor. I normally wear 4s but I wore a 2 in this and I might have even been able to pull off a 0 but my backup was a 4 since we tried on a 6 at the store.

The dress is heavy, but I had no problems keeping it up. The zipper was tricky, but doable with some help. I received compliments all night and will probably be renting this dress again! Although, I do wish it was as short on me as it was on the model.

This dress was gorgeous, the embroidery was stunning up close. The dress was more like a gown on me than ankle length, because I'm shorter than the model, but it worked. The pockets were super handy for my phone and hotel room key. Only complaint was that the outer zipper kept getting stuck on the seam halfway up, I definitely needed some help getting in and out of it because of that.

I wore this dress to a friends wedding and I absolutely loved it. It was comfortable, unique and I received a ton of compliments on it. This was actually a last minute rental I got from the NYC store since my initial rental did not fit. This my be my favorite dress I have ever worn - I didn't want to return it!

I'm normally around an 8 and the 10 fit like a glove. The integrated bodice was nice, but I had occasional issues with zipping the outer zipper all the way up. I wore 3 inch heels, but if you're under 5'6, this dress will still definitely be more full length than tea length. Perfect for a spring-time formal affair, and it has POCKETS!

The fit was true to size. I received so many compliments and felt like a princess! It was beautiful. Worn to a Black tie optional wedding. Sad to let it go! It does have some tool under the skirt so it's more fabric than the pictures on the site but if your heels are a good height it worked perfect.

I went up a size in order to be more comfortable sitting. The boning was great, but was painful while sitting in the 8. It wrinkles pretty easily, so be prepared to get it pressed prior to your event. Especially if it comes in the garment bag that rolls it up. I'm 5'8", I think this would be tea length on a much shorter person.

When I first tried this dress on, I fell in love with it! The flower embroidery on the dress is so gorgeous and being 5'8, the length was perfect - hit just above my ankles. I wore this dress to a prom and I had received so many compliments on the beautiful flower embroidery on the dress and how I looked just like a princess! It definitely made me stand out from the other girls at prom. At the end of the night, I felt so beautiful in this dress that I didn't want to take it off. The only problem I had was that the top was a little tight around my chest, but I figured it was supposed to be like that to act as a corset. Highly recommended :) (although it will fit more like a ballroom gown if ur shorter than 5'7)

I loved this dress! It was originally my backup but when a small complication arose RTR sent me this dress in two sizes and I'm so happy I got to wear it for prom. The fit on top was a little bit big for my small bust, but nothing some fashion tape couldn't handle. The flowers on the dress were lovely in person and I felt like a princess wearing something so beautiful. I highly recommend this dress!

I felt like a princess in this dress! Running true to size, I would go one size up for backup. I would also recommend a strapless bra or no bra depending on your bust size. At 5'7" this was definitely tea length on me, but it felt like a ball gown. This is perfect for a springtime gala or black tie event. Be aware that the fabric is very heavy so this style may not be good for an event that is primarily outdoors in the heat. Pair with simple accessories and nude strappy heels, and get ready to be the star of the show.

Petite girl note: this is the perfect length! Fit is great and length couldn't have been better. The skirt was a bit bulkier than I thought but it was glamorous and perfect for the gala. Would love to rent this one again!!!

The dress is beautiful and the fit was great, except that i am 5'5" and so the length for me was a bit longer so it was all the way down to my ankle. I got a ton of compliments and i was happy to wear this dress. I would rent this dress again.

Loved the floral designs and the purple is very pretty. The pockets are great. The outer zipper is not as strong as it needs to be. Fits true to size. I'm 5'0" and the bottom of the dress hits at my ankles. Received tons of compliments on the dress!

Overall rating: 4/5 due to the negatives listed below, but the positives definitely outweighed The negatives of this stunning gown. Negatives: EXTREMELY heavy fabric made for a very sweaty evening. Boning in the gown, while very supportive, was also very uncomfortable. One piece of boning also stuck out towards the front of the dress and I feared it would poke through the fabric all night. I'm 5'5" and the gown was full length on me rather than the tea length that is pictured. Positives: Purchasing an expensive strapless bra is not necessary. The gown is absolutely stunning, and compliments will be flying your way all night long. The skirt is so full and beautiful, which made dancing the night away a great time!

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the level of difficult in ironing and getting this dress on. Do not rent this dress if you are bad at ironing or getting ready by yourself. Due to shipping, it arrived terribly wrinkled. I attempted to steam out the wrinkles but it required pressing. I highly recommend pressing the pleats at the top or it looks frumpy. That process took about an hour, including the time wasted steaming. It took three people to get me into this thing: mom to zip it up (because of the embroidery and skirt, it got stuck in a few places), dad to bend the hook back into place (whomever wore it last may have been too large for the size 2), and little brother to actually clasp the thing (smaller hands). After the ordeal of getting it on, I loved it. This dress fit like a glove and I felt like a princess all night. The detailed embroidery is absolutely stunning, especially the gold thread. The tulle layer gives it an extra oomph and is super fun to twirl in on the dance floor.

Overall this is a stunning dress. I receieved compliments the entire night. I ordered a size 10 and a size 12 for my backup size. The size 10 was a little snug on my back and the size 12 was too big in the bust. I opted to wear the 10. Although the dress was a show stopper, it was highly uncomfortable to wear. Whatever tulle was used to "poof" the skirt was very rough and kept scratching my legs the entire night. Also because was dress was a little tight and the top is like a corset, I had bruises on my back when I took my dress off! Due to comfort and brusing I had to deduct 1 star. Still dress was 100% worth the trouble because it was so gorgeous! Whats beauty without a little pain? lol

Dress ended up being great, but if you have a wider rib cage (like me) then I HIGHLY suggest sizing up. I am usually a 6, but I ended up wearing an 8. Still felt like a princess in this dress :)

I'm 6 feet tall and this dress was super long on me! I don't know how anyone much shorter could wear it properly. I wore a size 4 and should have sized down to a 2. The 4 was very loose. I think the color was more on the pink scale than lavender, but it was very pretty. The leaves are a metallic gold thread. Material is heavy, I wouldn't want to wear this in the middle of summer, but it was pretty perfect for fall temps. As others have said, it was very wrinkled when I received it. I had to iron it and still didn't get it smoothed out properly. Fluffy, but not too fluffy, and has a great spin on the dance floor. This is a very pretty dress and I received compliments about it all evening.

This was a LOT more dress than I was expecting and I ended up being a little overdressed for an outdoorsy wedding. It isn't as obvious in photos (and this isn't a great photo), but there's a significant amount of tulle in the skirt. It's also not as silky as some photos make it appear: the fabric feels almost like thin denim. The bodice runs a bit tight at the top (I had a little side boob to contend with all night) but the waist and length were great. I wore little 2" heels and the dress hit right above my ankles. I felt tucked in in the middle all night. The pockets are a super bonus. Be warned: if you hate ironing (or are unwilling to attend your event all wrinkled), this dress is probably not a great idea. It took a good 45 minutes to work through all the wrinkles in the (huge) skirt, just from shipping. It was a fun wear, just for the fairy princess feeling... but it also felt a little young for me.

This dress fit really well, made me feel like a movie star, and had pockets! The boning made me feel comfortable that nothing would fly out as I danced the night away but wasn't so tight that I felt I couldn't breathe. It also was a perfect tea length on me, which is important when you're 5 feet!
