This dress fit perfectly and was super flattering! The butterfly details and tulle made it extra special. Would definitely rent again!

This dress is elegant and perfect for a formal event. It was very comfortable (once i got into it)! Super fun to dance in, and gives you opportunity to shiw off some fun shoes with its length. Received many compliments . The only challenge is the dual zippers. There was no way to get into this dress on my own...so make sure you have an additional strong set of hands to get you zipped up!

This was a great dress that got lots of compliments. I ended up pinning the liner up so you could see through to my legs. It was slightly itchy but I forgot about it once we reached the event. I would size down as a backup, I'm a standard 4 but wore the 2.

As a petite 5'2" woman, the length hit at my shin which match the 50's theme for the event. Loved the appliques and full skirt.

Not going to lie- I felt like a complete princess in this dress. I was slightly hesitant when renting thinking it might be too sweet or childish. I was blown away by the way the dress looked on, moved and looked in photos. I styled with a large earring, slick back hair and a pump. Really fun update to a black dress for your next event. Would totally recommend

Loved it! Wore it to a wedding and l felt like twirling around! Made me feel beautiful, feminine and Powerful Confidence. Only unpleasant detail was a look like the zipper lining that was jus hanging inside the dress l kind of held in by my underwear lol but every time l went to ladies room l had to fix it ! Other then that love it!

So comfortable. Definitely get size down from what you normally wear. You want it to be a slightly fitting. The double zipper is brilliant, almost like a corset. Felt like a princes.

This dress was so much prettier in person. I was worried at first about it being strapless and tugging it up all evening ...but it stayed in place so well. it was very comfortable. I love how the bottom has the tulle sticking out from the hem, it was a very fun dress to wear ! I received a lot of compliments and would definitely rent this dress again!

Used for wedding. Dress is so much more gorgeous in person. Size is snug, would recommended a size larger to be safe.

Tight around bust

It fit very well, but there were two little stabby things under the arms that scratched up my armpits.

The 8R fit perfectly with a little room to give, which was good since the backup size didn’t ship! I am 5’4” and 134lbs.

Fit perfectly. I wore a strapless bra even though i didnt have to. The butterfly detail was understated yet beautiful. Received many compliments on the dress.

This dress is gorgeous. Its my second marchesa dress. The fit is slightly small. I'm a size 14 in my hips and a size 12 up top and the 14 was very snug in the chest. This was a good thing however - my chest felt strapped in all night and I didn't have to worry about pulling up my dress. As for length, I'm 5'4" and it hit the middle of my shin. The silhouette was extremely flattering and the butterfly appliques are gorgeous. Even though they're black, the sequins still give off a beautiful sparkle. It's the perfect party dress - it even flares out when you twirl!

Thisnos my favorite dress i have ever rented or worn. It is sinply stunning, pictures do bot do it justice. I rented it for a formalBurns Supper, a Scottish affair with traditional Scottish dancing. The fit was amazing! The two layered zippers were a little confusing at first, one is a corset and one zips the dress up. The outer zipper got a little stuck mid way through but other than that the dress rocked!! Love the tea length cut and felt good dancing in it all night!

Very beautiful dress. The pictures do not show the butterfly detail. It fit very form fitting on top, and flowed gracefully at the bottom. I felt beautiful in this dress. I'm 5'3 and got the 10R. The length was perfect. I received so many complements on the dress and RTR. Worth every penny, I want to buy this dress!

This dress was just fantastic! There was a tiny piece of lace missing in the back, but the 6 fit better than the 8 and you couldn't tell so I wore it anyways. Fun to dance in and got tons of compliments.

Beautiful dress, comfortable and one of a kind. I'm 5'1" and should've probably go for 4P instead of a 4R for the best fit. It has a double zipper but the outer one gives the feeling of breaking when pulling up. Loved the dress and got lots of complements!

The dress I originally ordered didn't fit, so this was my last minute back up. And omg I'm so glad it turned out that way because this dress is amazing. Stunning design, beautiful details, but subtle, so it was perfect for a wedding guest. Comfortable, didn't need to wear a bra, great fit overall. So much fun to dance in. I got a ton of compliments. Size-wise I am in between a 2 and a 4, and the 2 fit perfect. Length-wise, it hit right above my ankles, which I loved. Got to show off my shoes and after I kicked them off to dance I got to show off my hot pink pedicure. Fantastic rental all around!

The dress is beautiful and elegant with a simple silhouette. The butterflies are not overwhelming, and since the dress is black, they are hard to really see. The add just the right amount of texture. The corset part does not have any give but the way it's constructed it would work for both someone with a small chest (like me) and someone with a bigger cup. Can't comment on a D and above but that might not be very comfortable (probably depends on the size of dress to - I wore a 6R.) There are two zippers and they can get stuck right at the midway point where the corset part begins but don't give up. I managed to pull it up with help without busting the zipper. It was actually very comfortable, and the big skirt part made me less self conscious.

This dress is one of my absolute favorite rentals. The butterflies are so subtle and lovely. I received compliments all night. The bust area was tight enough I didn't even have to wear a bra! I wish I could rent this dress all the time.

Fit great though there is ample room in the chest. I am breastfeeding so my Breast are larger than normal. At their usual B cup I would need to have filler. The tea length was perfect, especially if you are short like me. It ended up at my ankles. The big skirt hides any tummy issues and makes it easy to dance! Only issue is the built in corset had the frame poke me as it's coming a bit undone. I put tape on it to prevent endless rubbing.

This dress runs true to size. It's comfortable, elegant and easy to dance in. The butterflies are what make this dress special.

I wore this for a wedding in Cape Cod. It was a beach themed wedding, but this dress was appropriate for the occasion to honor the wedding. And yet, it was fun enough so that you can dance and walk around easily. The top part has two zippers. The inner zipper tightens the interior like corsets so that you can zip the outer one. It was a bit tough to zip up the outer one. I could not zip it up without a help. Once zipped up, it is a bit tight around the waist but it was bearable for the look. The length was a bit up to my ankle so that I would not drag the dress but long enough to sit down comfortably without worrying about my leg posture. The dress has many layers so it was puffy. The dress can feel heavy because it has corsets and many layers of skirts but I enjoyed the look and feel of it. The designer added a belt like look around the waist so that your waist is more defined although it is an all black dress. The chiffon like lace adds more dimensions so that the dress does not look flat. The embroidery was subtle and no bids or anything poking your skin. By the way, the outer lace does not zip up but it would not have been too noticeable and I think the dress was intentionally designed that way. For the size, I ended up going to the flagship store and tried on about 6 dresses after searching available dresses in advance. I first rented Rachel Zoe because I wore her dress before but this time around the dress I picked just did not fit my body at all. So I went to the flagship store. Although choices are limited to what they carry, it was much better to try there and find the right fit. In summary, I would definitely re-rent the dress.

From the moment I put this dress on, I never wanted to take it off. The fit was perfect, although because the bodice is a snug fit, you will need to be zipped into it. I had so many compliments on my dress. Even strangers stopped me to tell me how stunning it was. I am petite and the length was perfect. It was comfortable, easy to move in and i didn't have to wear a bra because it supported my chest and fit tight enough so I didn't have to pull it up at all. I got to be a princess for 1 night!

I wore this dress to a film premiere. It was the perfect dress for the occasion - stylish & fun. I loved the way it twirled! The boning in the bodice also meant that I didn't need to wear a bra. I'm short & was worried that tea length might look weird on me, but it ended up looking great!

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding and it was perfect. The skirt was not too puffy and the tea length made it easy to dance. I'm not a huge sparkle person but the tiny black sequins on the butterfly's added a nice touch. I would say that if you have a larger chest size up. The 8R fit me perfect but the chest was a bit tight.

I am about 5'3, athletic build and usually wear a size 2-4 (34B cup size). The 4R fit perfectly, no strapless bra needed and it stayed on perfectly the whole night even with some wild dancing. The dress is super classy, different and I got so many compliments. The picture posted doesn't really do it justice. Even with my height the dress didn't feel too long, and I only wore 2" heels.

This dress is awesome! I don't think the photo does it justice. The length is great - long, but not floor length, so it's very versatile. The 4 fit me great - I'm 5'2", 120 lbs, small bust, petite but curvy on the bottom. I think this would fit a variety of body types, but there is a fair amount of material on the bottom. Don't be afraid of the butterflies.

I haven't worn anything with butterflies on it in about 25 years, but this dress broke that streak. It's a fun dress for a black tie event, easily pairs with fun shoes. No need for lots of jewelry because the dress has so much detail to it. Fits true to size, maybe a little snug.

The double inside and outside zippers helped ensure the dress didn't fall down and I never felt like I had to hold my dress while dancing. I also am pretty short (5'1") so I was worried a tea length on me may awkwardly fall at my ankles, but the length was a true tea length and perfect for dancing. I cannot recommend this dress enough. My first rent the runway experience was incredible!
