Fit ran small for tons of compliments very comfortable

Loved it. It runs a little small on top, so I sized up, but there was still room in the hips. It was comfortable and really cute. The skirt is so fun - this was perfect for a holiday party!

What a beautiful dress! I love the feathers! I am a pear, and both the 6 and the 8 were snug in the hip for me, but the 6 looked better because it wasn't as 'baggy' in the midsection and fit better. Very comfortable, and too many compliments to count. The dress is more fitted than I thought it would be, which is VERY flattering. I high heel is a must.

This was such a fun dress! The detail along the bottom made it feel so festive and fun for a cocktail/formal wedding. I typically wear a size 2 but had to size up to the 6 to accommodate the growing baby bump :) So many women came up to me saying what a beautiful dress and how well it worked as a maternity style too. I think the fit would be more flattering for someone who is not pregnant, but it was very versatile and made me feel stylish even at this bigger size.

Perfect dress for NYE party and received lots of compliments. However, this dress runs very small in the chest area with no give in the fabric. I normally wear a 0 or 2 (went with the 2) but could have worn a 4 and been more comfortable.

This was my first negative experience with Rent The Runway. The original dress I ordered was unavailable. Luckily I happened to check my email and find that out - they gave me until 5pm that night to select another style. Ugh. I usually pour over the reviews and didn't have time so unfortunately this dress was really tight for me. I did receive compliments on the detail of the dress. I couldn't wear a bra because of the narrow cut of the sleeves and feared a strapless would just make it more tight. In the end I was able to wear the dress (which was good) just felt uncomfortable.

This is a great looking dress and very fun to wear. It runs QUITE SMALL. I am a size 8, but I rented a 10 because everyone's reviews said this dress ran small. I rented a second dress in a 12 just in case. I got myself into it, but would not have been able to if I'd worn a bra. A 14 would have been perfect. Yep. That's how small this dress runs. Regardless of the sizing, it's a great dress, fun to wear, and - got a TON of compliments on it.

As always, renting through Rent The Runway was a breeze. I rented this for a cocktail-dress code fundraiser and I felt it was just perfect for the occasion, not too fancy, but not too casual either. The size 10 fit but was a little tight in the chest and arms so I wore the 12, which seemed a bit too loose in the chest, but was more comfortable since I knew that I would be dancing. I found the dress to be comforable overall, no itching for me anywhere. Will continue to use Rent The Runway for unique dresses like this.

Very small , absolutely gorgeous . I ordered the wrong size. I rated 5 stars because if I had ordered the right size it would have been stunning. A very complimenting dress( makes u look skinny)

It was true to size and lovely. A very fun dress w/ a cool feathery detail along the bottom. I received many compliments and felt pretty. I forgot my girdle, and wasn't punished for it. The dress remained very flattering.

Fabulous dress that has NO GIVE. Usually wear an 8 or 10, and wore a 12 in this. Sleeves were a bit loose, and the back gapped a little. Snug for full-chested/full figured woman. Wore strapless bra since there's little shoulder fabric, but because of the snug fit, didn't notice no bra straps. Great compliments on the fun hem details that include feathers and netting. Loved the dress, but sadly would not rent again because of sizing issues.

Fit me like a glove!!!! I had a little trouble with the lining that night, but overall a wonderful dress. I usually wear size 4...... 5'5" and 124 lbs. length was perfect.... right above my knee.

I thought I would love this dress, but it's not as interesting in person so I didn't wear it. This dress runs small. I would have needed a 6 instead of a 4 to wear this without having to adjust it. This neckline would definitely benefit from a more ample bust. It's not a great dress for the flat chested.

This is a beautiful dress, but I didn't end up wearing it, because it was too small! Make sure you order a size larger! RTR's customer service is outstanding!

The decorative skirt looked really pretty and fun in the photo, but on me, the skirt was too foofy at the bottom and the neckline was weirdly broad/wide. Not a good silhouette overall. I ended up not wearing it.

This was my first time using RTR. I thought the service was really great. As described, this dress ran small. I went up a size to a 6 and that fit pretty well but didn't leave too much room to move around the rib cage. The dress was in great condition. Ultimately I decided not to wear it. I'm 5'6" and this dress fell in a really awkward place above my knees. The bottom of it also was much more structured and poofy than I thought it would be from the picture, and it just seemed to hang weirdly. The rest of the dress was beautiful though.

I rented this for a wedding in size 6 & 8. I am 5'8', 148 lbs, 34D with some curves and normally wear size 6-8. Neither size fit well at all. The 6 was way too small and the 8 was able to be zipped but still felt tight. The stylist's note were spot on. It was very fitted through my waist down to my upper thighs and flared at the bottom. Overall the dress was beautiful and RTR even sent one with the tags still attached but it just wasn't meant for my body type. It would probably look very good on someone with a straight and narrow body. This was my first experience with RTR and they shipped me a replacement dress without any hassle. Thank you!

It was very fitted but super classy. If you have larger arms, I might suggest that you consider a different dress choice as there was not a lot of of give.

This dress is so much more beautiful than the picture shows. The lace overlay is gorgeous and helps smooth out the fit. Tight in the bust, didnt have to wear a bra. I found it funny that I could tell where I had already been by the trail of feathers that were molting off as I walked. Still give it five stars though, I was very pleased with the overall look and fit. Can't go wrong with a Marchesa!
