I usually wear between 8-10. I rented both and wore the 10. The side zipper was very hard to zip up! I ended up getting it to zip by wearing a bra that gave me less bust. Even though it was tight I'm so glad I wore it. I got a ton of compliments and it was perfect for the wedding!

I rented this dress for my friend's wedding in Cape Cod. The dress was delivered to the hotel and on-time, I had no issues with delivery. When you take the dress out of bag, prepare for your jaw to drop, it is so beautiful! I am normally a size 10/12, but I requested the backup size 14 just in case. The 12 ran a little tight around my belly but luckily the 14 looked incredible. I received compliments all night! Thank you!

Turning 50 is a milestone for anyone- I am excited to start this phase of my life with my family. I had planned on renting a different dress, but it didn't fit well. I looked at this and another, but as soon as I tried this one on it was "the dress". The embroidery in the photo is nothing compared to seeing it in real life. The color is more of a hot pink vs red; I probably could have used a size smaller- but I loved that it gave me a shape! I got many compliments and hated sending this one back!

I was a little skeptical about renting this dress as I am not a pink person...but ended up loving it! Wore it on Christmas Day at work and didn't stop receiving compliments all day. The color and embroidery details are beautiful...the dress fits true to size, not tight but gives you great curves. A happy dress that makes you stand out.

This dress was a show stopper on it's own. I was participating in a fashion show and this was the initial dress I wore for the occasion before I changed into the full length gown. It ran a little small in the mid section, but it was still a beautiful dress. I received many compliments on this dress.

I didn't end up wearing this dress. It seemed small in the bust, and I had a hard time getting the zipper up. Also the slip underneath seemed to bunch up weirdly. Being on the shorter side, the bottom hit in a weird spot which i felt made me look shorter. It's a cute dress, but not for me.

This would've been perfect if it had curvier hips. But I loved it anyway. Got tons of random compliments. The blush lace with floral appliqué is beautiful up close too.

Loved this dress! Was sent as a backup dress so by my original pick. The details at the top of Dress were amazing. Was tight in chest area so would have liked to try an 8 however the 6 did fit. The dress was true to size and very easy to wear. No issues sitting, walking or dancing. It was perfect with a strapless bra.

This is dress is a beautiful deep magenta pink. It is full lined and very well made I normally wear an 8 or a 10 depending on the bust. I ordered the 10 but it was too tight, I called RTR / CS and they were awesome they over nighted the dress so I had tin time for my event. The 14 was a little too big but still looked great. I would definitely rent this one again!

high end fabric, tailoring is very flattering for my larger behind and thighs. The floral design on the top is a little dated, but on the plus side, I didn't have to wear a necklace with it. I'm 5-2 and the dress came down to mid-calf.

The dress was really cute and fit well except that it would bunch up just a little in the midsection area every once in a while but once I pulled it down a bit, it would go back to normal. Felt like a million bucks in this dress!

Beautiful dress. Not super forgiving of "lumps" and "bumps" because of the stretch of the material. Perhaps if I'd been even just 5 pounds lighter it would have been better.

I am in between a size 8 and 10 and I am a 34 DDD. I had to go with a size 10. The back button, which buttons the top sheer fabric was broken when I received it but it was not a problem, I simply tucked the flaps in and made it into a V back. I received compliments all night. I would suggest even going up a size then you normally are if you don't want it to be so form fitting, especially if you are self-conscious about some of your curves as it can hug them.

This is a beautiful and very flattering dress that fit perfectly in the waist and hips, but was tight through the bust, and I am not big-busted. The color is beautiful for spring, and it would be a wonderful choice for an afternoon wedding or nice dinner out. I was so sad that it didn't work for me.

Beautiful details and color! This dress runs small. I am a true size 6 and it was very fitted throughout and hugged all of my curves. I recommend going up a size. This dress doesn't have any stretch. I wore it without a bra but it can be worn with a strapless. At 5'11 this dress was tea length on me. This dress is perfect for a summer wedding!

This is a pretty dress. However, it didn't fit the look I was going for, as it was longer than I like. I wanted more of a party dress and this was more conservative than I hoped.

Gorgeous color & detail in the top. I feel this runs small & was more form-fitting than I cared for. It didn't feel comfortable, so I never wore it!

Dress was a bit big, in the hip area. Lining did not lay right, making the hip area appear wider than needed. Did not wear.

I ordered this dress to wear at a destination wedding, so I was really disappointed when it arrived and was too small in the hips for me to wear. The size 2 (which is my regular size) fit perfectly everywhere except for in the hips, where the fabric gathered a ton and wouldn't sit flat. The fabric had no give. I had never worn Marchesa Notte before, but if I order their dresses again I will go up a size to account for my hips. I'm not especially hippy, so this is surprising.

I'm large busted, 38DD, and i couldn't zip it up. It was extremely gorgeous and I was so excited to wear it to my stepson's wedding. I was so bummed that it didn't fit!

I loved the look and color of this dress online. After reading reviews I decided to size up because my chest and hips are of equal size. The dress is made out of gorgeous material, cut on bias which should skim the body, but the problem with bias cut is that if there is a zipper on a side, it kind of sticks out. So this dress turned out to be very tight in my chest and somewhat roomy in my hips. But it's the zipper side that prevented me from wearing it. My hips looked distorted in this dress. I generally love Marchesa's dresses, but this one isn't their best cut.

I thought it looked very pretty, it was my first time ordering with RTR & although I guided myself with others who had worn the dress and had similar size & body type as mine the dress did not look flattering whatsoever. It made my chest look flat and I decided on wearing something else instead. I would have gone with a size 12. Although I do wear a size 10 sometimes an 8.
