The dress fits well! I was comfortable all Night. I recommend a strapless bra as the top is fairly sheer.

This was the perfect style dress for the occasion. The bottom was tighter than I prefer and a bit difficult to sit in. I couldn't get the size 12 over my butt.

I ordered a size 6 (I normally wear an 8). With a body shaper, it fit perfectly. Had I been an actual 6, it would fit true to size. Lots of compliments on this dress. It was well made and I felt great in it for my son's wedding.

Loved this dress so much I wore it to two back-to-back events, a wedding and a Gatsby-themed gala. It fit like a glove and I had a ton of people ask me where I got it. The mesh at the neck was slightly snagged which didn't look as luxe as the rest of the dress, but it was a small quibble. Great dress and comfortable!

Great selection for an event where I was on stage a lot. Great pattern. Standard 6 and rented an 8, great decision for the hips and butt, but made it baggier in the waist.

I needed a 2 but it wasn't available so I ordered the 0 and 4 hoping one would fit. The 4 would have been more comfortable but it gapped on the sides of my breast and I wear a 34 C or D bra so not like I am flat as you can see from the photo. I squeezed into the 0 with a strapless bra and high waisted Spanx. It was fine but the cut edge of the sheer fabric at the neckline was a bit itchy against my skin. Not bad though.

Dress is beautiful but the lining hung below the dress hem w/ no way to pull it up. I was self conscious the whole night. Too Expensive to not be fully satisfied.

This is my favorite dress ever from RTR. Wore this for a 1920s party and felt like a million bucks! The gold stitching detail is just gorgeous. Definitely not a dress for curvy women--it fit my straight frame like a glove. The dress was a little long for me (I'm 5'1") but I just hemmed it with a simple stitch for the evening. I didn't find the mesh uncomfortable like some reviewers but could see it being irritating for someone with sensitive skin.

There is no give or stretch. I wore this to a vow renewal and chose to drive there in a different outfit for comfort. However, this dress is figure hugging/flattering if you are hourglass like me. It came to mid knee just like in the model picture. I got lots of compliments and would recommend.

I'm short with small chest and wide hips. I had to buy a padded stick on bra, it was a little tight in the hips and I hemmed it a full four inches with a slip stitch that I could easily take out when done. It was with the effort. The dress is stunning!

I'm 5/4 and weigh about 143 pounds. The fit is snug but not so much that every unwanted curve is shown. I ordered a 6 and an 8. The 8 was best and wore that. There's some give in the fabric but not much. You can were a bra with it. The gold has some sheen to it so it caught the light nicely

The dress was gorgeous! The gold detail and the see through net above the sweetheart black was my favorite. I wore this for a black tie wedding, and ended up wearing my size up (14). I am a pants size 10, but needed a little more room to sit down more comfortably. This is a great option if you are tall - it hit just above my knee cap.

Beautiful, intricate dress that was true to size

I thought this dress was perfect for the Hindu wedding ceremony I was attending, and feel that it did fit in well with the other guests that were dressed in sari's and other traditional Indian clothing. In a typical dress of this nature I would wear a 6, but after reading reviews thought an 8 might be a better option, and feel that was a smart move. There is some give to this dress, but not a whole lot, so If you are on the fence, I would size up just for comfort level. I had another rental to change into for all the dancing that was going to take place at the reception, but this was perfect for the ceremony, and felt regal without being overdone. I think if you are renting for an event with a lot of movement it might be best to go with something a little more flexible in the skirt (I walked up a whole lot of stairs with my knees stuck together, so I am hoping this helps another person from looking like a weirdo)!

I wore this dress to a 50th Wedding Anniversary party. It was a perfect fit, which is often difficult for me to find. It arrived earlier than expected so I had a chance preview it with different shoes and accessories prior to my event. It was definitely the show-stopper that I often look for!!

This fits like a glove! Very, very expensive looking. Doesn't have a lot of give at all, so if concerned, id say size up. It's an amazing dress. Showstopper and sexy for sure.

I wore this to a black tie wedding, and I felt amazing. I'm curvy (and not always in a great way), so was worried that all of the detail in this would just accentuate the wobbly bits, but it didn't. It looked beautiful on, and I just kept getting compliments all night! I'm 5'3", and it went just below my knee. I was able to wear a normal bra because of all the details happening. This was yet another hit, and when you're going to a wedding with lots of glamorous people, it was nice to have something I felt great in.

The dress was true to size for me. I am 5 4", 130lbs, and a 34D and had no problems with the size 4 illusion neckline. The 2 fit, but was very tight around the arms and I probably wouldn't have been able to sit comfortably. All in all, a great dress I wish I could own!

Loved the dress- dress was tight to the body so it gave that very sexy feeling while balancing with appropriate length. Everyone loved the dress!!! Matched with the fur coat, I did not want to return the outfit! Dress was very beautiful and perfect for a Gala at the Newport Mansions.

I wore this for a formal work event. It was very effortless. It was tight enough that I didn't wear a bra (rare for me) and felt very comfortable. The dress was a little tight around arm holes and I have fairly small shoulders/arms so I imagine this may be too tight for some.

Rented for a Greek Wedding in NY! This dress def makes a statement! Drop dead gorgeous! I rented the size 10 and got the 12 as a back up thanks to other reviews! I'm a chesty gal (36DD), and the girls make shopping difficult! I had the dresses sent to the resort I was staying at while on vacay, 2 days before the wedding! I tried the dresses on as soon as I received them, and thank goodness I did! The 10 fit me perfectly and my husband loved it, but was a tad tight/slightly more are than I liked. The 12 fit the chest much better, but was larger everywhere that it didn't need to be...looked frumpy actually. The 12 also had a noticeable gold thread snag on it. I panicked and called RTR, spoke with McKenzie. She was awesome and found me a size 12 and even had it sent to my InLaws house. It was there waiting for me after we left the resort! I ended up wearing the 10 only because of the size difference! Be prepared for all eyes on you! I was stared at all night! Wish I had a better pict but when your child is the only one avail, you take what you can get!

Literally got numerous compliments all night...told I had the best dress there throughout the evening at a 1300 person gala event. Compliments from my fabulous gay men friends who know style! I am an athletic build 138 lbs with measurements 37/27/33. The size 6 had a lot of room, especially in the waist. The size 4 fit me like a glove and with room I the waist. I could even wear a strapless bra for better shape. It was comfortable to wear and sit in all night. The mesh around the neck and arms was a little irritating at first, but I put a little cream on those areas. The picture does not do this dress justice.

This dress was perfect for the wedding I attended; I don't normally wear something like and RTW provided me the perfect opportunity to try something new. It's very comfortable. I normally wear a size 6 and the 4 ended up fitting better. The only downside is the fabric on the top is a bit rough. Other than that, I received so many compliments and would definitely rent this again!

This dress hit me in all the right places. I was a little worried about the form fitting because I am very self conscious about that. But this dress had me feeling sexy and beautiful all night long. This dress is great because it is very classy with a hint of sexy. I also wore this for a Great Gatsby party and it was absolutely perfect. The fabric is just stretchy enough and it's so comfortable. HIGHLY recommend this dress.

I used the dress, for a wedding that had a Great Gatsby theme. It was great. Since I have large hips I went with the large size, so that I felt comfortable. It was too small in the waist but that is always something that occurs due to my larger legs and hips.

This dress was a major hit so much so that I decided to wear it to 2 different events. The fit while a little small looks amazing on any size. The semi sheer top even has enough coverage to let you get away with a regular black colored bra. The sheer material is a little itchy but not unbearable, just something to consider if you have really sensitive or easily irritated skin. I would buy this dress, it was that good of a match.

The fit was true to size 2 with room, not tight. Gold embroidery is very exquisite. It's just not my style - so I didn't wear it.
