Perfect dress for a formal affair! The dress was fitted at the waist and right at the knees. I received compliments on the dress and loved that it was easy to move around in.

The 12 fit me just the tiniest bit too big, and I'm a street size 10, usually. Very comfortable and easy to move in. I had to wear a bra so I wore a black one with simple straps and it (sort of) looked like part of the dress. Loved this dress!

This dress ran large however was fitted at the waist, it is a fuller skirt so it does allow room for hips. You should consider wearing a strapless bra with this dress. I'm planning on wearing this dress to a fall wedding.

Dress was well made and fairly comfortable considering the neckline and back area. If I was a little larger breasted, it would have been easy to go braless because it was well lined and slim waisted. The zipper was extremely stiff. I had to turn the dress around to zip up. I had several complements from strangers (women). Husband thought "dress was nice- but not his favoritE".(. I think it was about 2" too long for his liking) I doubt I will rent this dress again -there are many other dresses to try. I certainly feel good about using RTR

I usually wear a 14 but had to use a 16 in this dress. The 14 was too tight in the chest and shoulders. Even the 16 was a little tight, I couldn't raise my arms above my head but was a beautiful dress and very flattering!

I have been using my unlimited subscription to find a dress for an upcoming wedding. Definitely liked this dress a lot. I sized up and was glad I did... the drop waist is surprisingly flattering and the beading is great. I ended up not wearing it, but I definitely recommend!

This Marchesa Notte black brocade cocktail dress in size 6 is very pretty. This dress has a full skirt with a hidden zipper with side pockets. This dress would look great on the body type(s) of someone who is pear shape, hourglass shape and also someone who is tall.

tight in arms

The most beautiful dress I have ever tried on, but unfortunately the 16 wouldn't even go over my shoulders and was super tight on arms. Such delicate material; absolutely stunning. I feel like it runs small since 16 works for me from other designers here. Definitely rent if you can find your size!!

I did not order this dress, it was sent because a dress I ordered was unavailable. Surprisingly I loved it. The top detail is so elegant and the flare is flattering on any figure. The pockets are an amazing plus. I didn't end up wearing this because I couldn't wear black at the event, however I would definitely rent this dress again.

I got so many compliments on this dress! I have a big rib cage, and the bodice doesn't have much give to it, so I ended up wearing a 16, though I usually wear a 14 in my day-to-day clothes. I liked that the flesh-colored lining of the dress was heavy enough to give the dress some substance, but the outer layer was still light and playful. Also, I liked that I could wear a regular, strapless bra. Planning to rent this again for a holiday party!

It was for someone with a longer torso so it didn't fit me. The shoulder kept moving up because the waist needed to be higher for me.

Beautiful dress. The reviews stated it ran small so I went up a size and it was too big. Very elegant and flattering.

I ended up not wearing this because it was way longer than I thought -- I'm 5'4 and have pretty long legs but it came way below my knees.
