So all along, when I was looking for a dress to wear to my best friend's wedding, Her colors were navy blue and lime green. This dress looked amazing! When the time came for my rental to come, they had actually sent me the right dress in the size up because they didn't have that dress available in the one I ordered anymore. It didn't fit right and I ended up contacting them and said they would overnight me anything they had available. They said I should have received an email informing me of the change and apologized that I did not receive it. I decided this one since I really wanted it anyway! It was a great dress, great fit, no complaints. Lots of compliments and glad it all worked out!

I'm petite and wear between a 4-6. I ended up wearing my backup size (size 6) since it felt a bit roomier. The lace is very delicate and I would suggest being very careful when wearing this dress. I was worried it would bunch up since I'm very short at 5 feet, but it was no problem at. I felt great wearing this dress and given the opportunity, I would purchase it in a heartbeat! This was my first RTR rental and I had a great experience. Will definitely continue using this service in the future.

This dress has nearly the perfect balance for everything: it can work for any age, body type, event. The details on the lace gives an appropriate respect to whatever formal event you're attending, but adds fun with fun colors. The colors are bright enough to make a statement, safe enough to not make you feel like you're sticking out of a crowd awkwardly. The fit was perfect, true to size. I had plenty of room to dance, to eat, no spanks needed! When can I wear this dress again?

This dress has very pretty details. The neckline, color, and lace sleeves are lovely. I found it ran quite small, likely because I have broad shoulders. I expected to wear the 8 but wore the 10 instead.

I was surprised at how flattering this dress was. When I tried on the 10 (my normal size) and it didn't fit, I was worried that the dress was too snug even in a size up - but I look great in every picture taken of me that night. The dress seemed a bit frail, especially the lace back closure, but held up well.

The size 8 fit was perfect, and I did not need a bra (32DDD). It could accommodate a strapless bra if needed, straps would show through the sheer top. The hem hit my knee (5'5"). Beautiful dress.

Too many compliments to count in this dress. The lace detail with the shimmer of gold was breathtaking and unique. I had brought to two dresses to choose from, and hands down this one was it. I am 6 ft tall and the length was just right, not too short. Comfortable to wear and dance in all night.

Incredibly classy dress, that was so comfortable! Despite being form fitting there were no restrictions because of the fabulous material! It fit true to size and received endless compliments. The length was perfect, just above the knees to offer a sophisticated look. I did not want to return this dress :).

I wore the size 10 which is my usually size. The top was a little tight but worked after finding the right undergarment. Spanx are also a blessing. I will definitely rent again for my next occasion.

I am very thankful for the customer service of RTR providing me with options when my first dress pick was not available. Marchesa Notte is always a fabulous idea to rent. I'm 5'10 and didn't have any stress with the length of the dress to a formal event. The gold detailing really set the dress apart-the sleeves it keeps things modest-the way the material hits at the mid section is very flattering making for a great curve fitting situation for those of us with hips.

This dress was so pretty, the photos do not do it justice. The overlay is actually very gold and I am glad someone else pointed that out in their review. Fit me perfectly. I wore it for my husband's company Christmas party. Danced all night long and was very comfortable.

I loved this dress and received a ton of compliments. Alas, the exact dress I wore, once heated up to body temp, smelled unfortunately of a previous renter's underarms. I noticed this unfortunate fact during the ceremony. I couldn't wait to get this dress off my body and my body into the shower. The dress is 5 stars. The renter who didn't apply anti-perspirant before wearing this dress is 0 stars.

This may be the most beautiful dress I have ever worn. The color is remarkable--a peacock green with gold lace overlay. I received the 10 and the 12--both sizes fit, but I chose the 12 to have a little more room in the hips and additional bust coverage. So many compliments. I would rent this one again in a heartbeat.

The fit was terrific. I usually wear a 6 but the 8 fit perfectly with room to dance! The back lace is quite see-through; so, a strapless is best. However - a thinly strapped black bra actually looks like it is part of the dress. So if you must wear a bra, it does look fine. IMHO. I wore one! No worries.

This dress was the perfect combination of what I wanted for a wedding where my boyfriend was the brother and best man of the groom. I knew I would be meeting lots of family, including grandparents, so didn't want to be too flashy or sexy, but also wanted something beautiful and flattering, in a green or blue. AND it needed to transition from afternoon church to evening. This dress did it all, and was even prettier in person, with the lace detailing done in a subtle gold that added a little sparkle and looked great with gold accessories. I am consistently a size 6, but wore the 8 in this dress. It's form fitting (I have a full chest, hips and rear) and the event was a week after the holidays, so the 6 was a tight fit for a fairly conservative wedding. I recommend sizing up for second size. I wore a backless bra-onesie contraption with clear straps, and nothing showed. A strapless would have worked but didn't have enough lift for me - the neckline is gorgeous with just a little décolletage. I also loved the perfect short sleeve -- I have athletic arms and broad shoulders, so wanted to cover up without being hot in long sleeves or bulky in a terrible cap sleeve. Perfect length and fabric stretch in the sleeve! I could go on, it was a perfect experience.

I could not wait to wear this dress! It is even more exquisite in person than any picture could possibly convey. My date's jaw literally dropped when I walked out to greet him. I tried the size 0 on first and although it fit very well it was a wee bit more snug than I wanted to deal with so I wore the size 2. It was perfect for a New Year's dinner & received numerous compliments.

I ordered the size 2, as well as the 4 and although I could have worn the 2 on top the 4 skirt fit better so I wore the size 4. The length came to the knee on me (5'3"). I was very happy with that. The color of this dress is just amazing,really enjoyed wearing it.

I love wearing classy lace dresses. I rented to dress to wear out to celebrate my husbands birthday. I felt like I was channeling Kate Middleton. :-) This dress received endless comments from strangers and is exquisite with intricate lace detailing. It fit me like a glove and I loved everything about it.

It's a snug fit. I would recommend going up if you're between sizes. A strapless bra is a must. But it is an absolutely gorgeous dress, no question.

The dress fits perfectly. Other reviewers commented on tightness in the arms but I didn't find this to be a problem. It is definitely form fitting through the stomach and hips. Although it is tight, it is definitely conservative because of the shoulders being covered, perfect for a more traditional wedding, event with co-workers or family. That being said, my husband definitely was a fan! I got many compliments on this dress. I was pleasantly surprised by the gold stitching. I think gold jewelry would be perfect with this.

This is a stunning dress. The intricate lace is just beautiful. It is fully lined and fits so nicely. The model has silver shoes but the lace is gold so I wore brown shoes and large gold earrings instead. I also tried it on with black shoes but they were definitely too dark. I definitely recommend the brown. The length is just above the knee, not matronly and not short like a lot of the dress styles these days. The top has transparent lace in the front and back so I wore a strapless bra. It was beautiful.

I waited too long to rent a dress for my friends wedding and the dress I had my eye on was booked. This dress came up in the suggestions. I was hesitant to get it because there weren't any reviews yet, but I am so happy I did! It's stunning and I felt great in it. I had to wear adhesive cups for a bra as I couldn't go without one. It's not necessarily a con, but be prepared! The clasp at the top of the back holding thr lace part closed came undone once when I was dancing. Other than that, I loved loved this dress. I have wide hips and was worried it would be too tight straight down, but it's got some stretch to it. Will be looking to rent this dress again!

Event was a fundraiser for my employer. I ordered sizes 2 and 4; the 2 fit like a custom-made glove, the 4 was a little roomier, especially up top, but still looked great. I could have worn either successfully but went with the 2. Sorry I don't have a full photo to share - my selfies turned out awful.

I loved this dress. The colors were beautiful and the fabric was soft and comfortable. I can wear a size 4 or 6. The size 4 fit, but was a bit snug and would not have given me room to move around, so I chose the size 6. It fit really well and was the perfect length for me at 5'9". hitting a few inches above the knee. I got tons of compliments!

This dress is beautiful and fits very nicely. It's special without being too flashy, but is different enough to get attention. You will feel beautiful in this dress. I am more of a pear shape, but the top didn't feel too lose (there was room for more in the bust, but maybe not for someone over a D cup), and the skirt was perfect (not too tight). The lace is very delicate; some of the lace was starting to separate from the lining, but its very minimal and not noticeable. The clasp at the nape of the neck came undone a few times, I think it just needs to be bent back into shape.

I was a little nervous ordering this dress because when I did there were no reviews and then when there were everyone said the material wasn't very forgiving or stretched. I found the exact opposite. This dress was so comfortable and so easy to wear all night. I would usually wear the size 6 but it was too big and the size 4 hugged my curves perfectly. Everyone complimented me on the vibrant colors of the dress and how beautiful it was. My husband lived having me on his arm at my cousin's winery wedding.

This was my back up dress, due to damage of the original dress I wanted, and RTR was amazing on fixing this. Best customer service I've worked with and will definitely be renting again!

I normally wear a 0, but it was not available so I rented the 2. It fit really nicely but I needed the 0 in the bust area and it was a little long on my, hitting right below my knees. The material and color of the dress are beautiful and the gold lace adds just the right touch to make the dress stand out. I truly felt elegant and beautiful in the dress. Highly recommended.

The dress is so beautiful. I received compliments from friends and strangers on the fit and design. Two people even asked if I lost weight. It photographs just as well with multiple friends commenting on my Instagram account about the dress. I was nervous it was going to be hard to dance in, but it held up extremely well, even during a long round of Armenian pinkie dancing. This was my first Rent the Runway dress and I can't wait for another special occasion to rent another one.

Rented this dress for an October wedding and it was perfect! Best rental so far - Normally I wear a 6/8 in clothes (Banana Republic, J Crew, Gap) and the 10 fit perfectly so I would suggest sizing up. Dress is fitted throughout and must be worn with a strapless bra. Rent this dress!
