I wore 4 inch heels, and the 6R was pretty short. The outer tulle is much longer than the slip, so the slip is what was short. I'm fairly small chested and the bust was pretty tight, so if you're larger up top I recommend sizing up.

This dress is gorgeous. It was true to size and the length was perfect with 3 inch heels. The bodice can be kind of uncomfortable but this dress is worth it.

I did not end up wearing this dress because I ordered a back up but it did fit to size. It was very long in the length. This was my first time doing rent the run way and I will continue to do it in the future. I loved both dresses, the hardest part was choosing which one I liked more.

Beautiful, elegant and classy dress. I wore it for a sorority formal and got endless compliments. The straps did gape a tiny bit when I moved around but it wasn't a big deal at all. By far one of my favorite dresses and nights. Definitely would recommend it.

I was complimented on the dress throughout the 1000 people gala we attended. Everyone said it was elegant and it flowed so beautifully. I am 5'8" and wore 3" heels and the gown just scraped the floor so was perfect and I could still dance in it. The inner corset was great but I felt the gown ran a bit small as I normally wear a 4 in Badgley Mischka. It fitted perfectly like it was made for me and not a cm to spare. I loved how it moved and the quality look of the gown. The lace underlay is so pretty but the pleated chiffon on top is so different. Many other women had lace on but I felt this dress was more subtle and sophisticated. I would rent again.

Fits true to size but very long for a girl that is 5'4 " I felt like a princess.

I usually wear a 0 and I had to wear the 2L in this dress. I am 5'10 and normally have troubles with finding dresses long enough. The sheer part of this dress is longer than the under portion which allowed for a longer look.

This was for a black tie event for The Junior League. I loved this dress. I wear a bra size 34D and it was a little tight in the bust but still zipped fine without a bra. I probably would have preferred the 4L but it wasn't available. Either way I still wore this with 3.5 inch heels and it was fine as you can see in the pictures. I wore spanks with mine because I wanted a smooth surface for the under slip to lay nicely. If you are between a 4-6 I would go with the 6 just for that reason.

Wore the gown to a Red Carpet event. It fit perfectly and looked gorgeous on. Different layers of tulle and lace. Overlay tulle skirt moved beautifully when walking. I received many compliments. A truly gorgeous gown. Only down side were the straps were a bit too long but I pinned them and they looked fine. I also rented the Moschino Pink Champagne Clutch to wear with it and it went perfectly.

This dress is unreal, beautiful fit, unique style and very elegant. I felt like a princess wearing this dress. Very comfortable to walk around with. I tried on the 6L since the 4R was a bit tight, but after "testing" on the dress for a few hours it got loosen up. So I decided to wear the 4R and wore tape/silicone bra for perfect support on the chest. The dress made me looked slimmer even thou it has like three layers of tulle. The design is beautiful. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the color... It looked black at night, but other than that it was a perfect Dress for my best friends's wedding!

This dress is GORGEOUS! I originally ordered another style and the back up size was not available so they kindly sent me this beautiful new arrival for the inconvenience. I ended up choosing this dress over the original one I wanted. It was comfortable, it is long so I did not need the long size even though the size chart with my height I would. I had 3-4 inch heels on and it was still long so order regular unless you are super tall. The 6R would have been better since this was a little loose at the top of the dress but other than that it was stunning and perfect for black tie events. I got so many compliments and recommend this dress to anyone.

I am 5'6" and wore 3" heels, which worked really well in terms of the dress length. The dress is lightweight and the criss-crossed back and the design across the front was very flattering, and it was so nice to not have to worry about tugging at a strapless or spaghetti strap dress all night! I went to the Meridian Ball in DC, there were a ton of people and I still wouldn't have swapped dresses with anyone. I loved the dress. It had straps but I tucked them in, the built in corset kept the dress up. I loved it! One of a kind!

Fit like a glove. I received a lot of compliments and felt beautiful in it. The only down side was there was a tear near the zipper that soft of stuck out. I told rent the runway and they credited my account for the full rental price! I never expected that but am so impressed on their customer service. I needed a size 8L but didn't realize it. The 6L fit but was a little tight in the bust. I'm a 34D. And I probably could have gotten away with a Regular instead of a Long because I am 5'7" and wore 4" heels and the dress still dragged on the floor. But these things did not keep me from being comfortable. And I didn't have to wear a bra because of the built in corset in this beautiful dress.

I rented this dress for a mardi gras ball but I did not end up wearing it. I think this dress is more suited for a black tie wedding or some other formal affair since it seems to me to be a bit more on the romantic side. this dress fit very well. it has a great little inner bra that zips up separately from the dress which gives your girls a little more support and makes itself more versatile by giving you the option to tuck the straps in and go strapless. although I did not end up wearing it for this event, I would absolutely consider renting it again for something else. highly recommended!

Ended up not wearing this one, but nonetheless thought it was a very nice-looking gown. Loved all the details - the grosgrain ribbon, the slight sweetheart cut on the lace neckline, the lightly pleated skirt... Was very pretty overall. Did feel like it ran a tiny bit big. Wish I had rented the 0L, since I felt like there was some extra fabric that bulked up the silhouette on the 2L. More of a cold weather gown, too. Would be perfect for holiday galas or black tie events. I'm 5'8" and would have needed to wear 4 inch heels for the skirt to be the perfect length.

There is a corset zip internally and that was quite difficult to fit. I actually never zipped. I had no issues zipping the secondary outside zipper. If you have a broad rib cage, may want to go up a size. I'm 5'8" and I probably could have used a long,. This dress was amazing. I was complimented by everyone and it's just stunning in person. I rented this dress for the Senior Ball at my high school, and it was perfect for the event. It made me feel so glamorous and kick ass that I never wanted to take it off! I would definitely recommend sizing up, but overall this was an amazing dress, and rent the runway is an amazing organization! I can't wait to rent again.

The inside zipper was a little small and it was a little tight so I wore it with out the straps. Over all the dress was everything I hoped it would be. I would rent again for sure.

This dress was gorgeous and perfect for the INC 500 gala that I attended. I got more compliments than I could count and didn't want to send it back after the event. Worth every penny!

I got the regular and it was really long on me. I probably would have worn the 2R, except one the straps seemed off, and the 4R was close enough, as long as I didn't slouch. The dress is impeccably made. There is an inside corset that keeps everything in place, though I wore a strapless bra under to fill it out. If you are bigger, that won't be necessary. It was still super comfortable.

The dress fit well throughout. It is supposed to have a slight drape at the bottom which was a bit hard to walk and dance in. The corset boning got a little uncomfortable towards the end of the night.

So incredibly beautiful!! I did not actually get to wear this dress because the strapping (a grosgrain ribbon) was too snug and did not have any given, where it was most needed: my hips. I was able to zip it, etc., however once I had it on, the material puckered out in the spaces between the ribbons and it was unflattering. I will absolutely order this for my next event, in one size up.

Overall the gown is gorgeous. However, the material did not lay correctly on my right hip.Possibly repaired? I expected a bit more for a $200 rental. But, it was very comfortable and the sweetheart neckline fringe is quality. The fit was great through the body, but the bodice/top was a challenge to zip. I'm a 34B, so I don't normally have trouble in the chest with a size 2 dress. Would only rent again if I received a different dress than this particular one. I loved the dress overall but just needed some tweaks. Love this designer! Very unique!

Great length, just skimming the floor with 3'' heels (although walking up/down stairs without tripping proved to be a challenge). The fabric of the sides of the dress just below the bodice tended to bunch up a little, which was mostly fixed by going up a size from my usual. The details on the top of the bodice are stunning.

This dress is beautiful. However, I have to agree with a couple other reviewers, it doesn't fit right around the waist/hips. If you are an hour glass shape you might have problems with the sides laying flat. I can even see it in a couple of the pics that are posted. Maybe a size up would have worked better? I did not wear this dress.

The gown is gorgeous, and is very flattering. However, for those of us that are endowed with a larger chest, it does not fit as well. The dress fit perfectly until the zipper reached my bosom area. It wouldn't budge.

I wanted to love this dress. It's gorgeous, but it just wasn't flattering for my body type. I'm 5'1 and very petite, I knew the 2L would be long but that was the only available size so I purchased hem tape and waited for it to arrive. I have a shorter torso, and the chest was a little large, nothing some cups wouldn't have fixed. My waist is 25 inches and the 2 fit it perfectly, but right after the waist, where the side zipper starts was the problematic area. It made my hips look so much wider and puckered out. I'm not sure if this dress just did it on me, or if its made for a taller individual. I have hips, but like I said I'm really small so I was surprised that it puckered at the side hips like that. I really did love this dress, but I knew my back up dress fit my body type better. I think if you're tall and slender, this dress would look flatter you better than if you are shorter like I am.

I rented this dress for a 20's themed party. I could have worn the 10L and maybe the 8L (it was tight in the chest) but the 10L came with a whole in it. The other negative is that the sheer fabric bubbles up right were your love handles would be...so the dress made it look like I had love handles even though it was just the fabric. Not exactly the most flattering. Also the straps were too long but I am mostly legs and have a shorter torso.
