I searched for a colorful, work appropriate dress for headshots. I finally found one review that mentioned photos and immediately rented this dress. Photo is unedited. I was comfortable in this dress all day and even went out for drinks after work!

Conservative, well made, quality dress.

Easily one of my top 5 rentals of all time. This was the first M.M.LaFleur dress I've worn and it will not be the last. This was a true power dress and I felt like a million bucks wearing it. I work in a very conservative investment services practice and love professional attire that's stylish & feminine yet modest. This was perfect.

This is an amazing dress! It's not too tight, hits at a great length, does not hug your arms, fits great around the shoulders-- has a great collar line! Obsessed with this and will rent again!

Rented for work and it I loved it. It's comfortable and flattering and a nice color. The top is a little large but I think it's supposed to be. Sometimes dresses that are loose on top can be ... revealed but this wasn't. Everything stayed where it was supposed to while I was in the office. Will rent again!

Great simple dress for work. I wore it with a jacket over to fight the cold but it would look great alone. It fits true to size but loose so if you want something right (I didn't) def size down

There was a bit of extra fabric in the chest (particularly when I sat), but the dress is stitched a bit to keep it from falling open. It ultimately was very comfortable, didn't wrinkle and looked modest and professional for the office.

I sized up to 16 from my normal 14 based on RTR's recommendation. I wore the dress, but you'll see in my photo that I had an extra fist full of material at the bust. Overall I think the dress was about 2" too big at all the usual measurement points. I'm estimating this is true to size because I suspect a 14 would have fit just fine. Don't size up!

Fitted but not body conscious, lined, nice bright navy color, knee-length and shows zero cleavage. Wear this dress to feel like the boss or a banker.

The size 10 in this dress fit me well all over, but oddly, the size 10 MM Lafleur jacket was too tight.

Fits true to size. I'm 5'4" and the length was just right for work. The fabric is comfortable for a long day and stays looking nice. I may eventually buy this one because I liked it so much.

I wore this dress for Headshots and it was perfect. The size 4 fit me well. It was a tad bit loose so I probably could've size down to a 2, but the 4 was fine for photos. Very conservative and great quality

I rented this for a rehearsal dinner. As an older lady, she his was the perfect length (just a titch below the knee). Even the sleeves were great, and I have shortish arms! A string of good pearls were all that was needed to make this a standout!

Perfect for a long day of virtual job interviews. It worked standing up, sitting down. Neckline was perfect. It had some odd poofing around rear waistline and back -- would not have worked IRL and did not consider purchasing for that reason.

This fit me well, if you chesty it has some extra room in the top. Great length for work. Not too showy but fitted enough in the waist to be feminine.

This is work dress perfection. The blue is a great blue, the tone of which reminded me of a Hugo Boss suit. The fit was incredibly flattering, even post three children in five years and eight years of little sleep and little working out. Most of all, the fabric was fantastic. It looked to the eye like a nice fabric, but it felt like a very functional fabric. Often when I come home from work I will change clothes, but I went through the evening errands, pickups, dinner making, dinner eating, bedtime routines, et cetera in this and was 100% comfortable and not worried about the fabric. I did not buy the one I rented, as I am working to lose some weight, but I absolutely will buy this dress style in the future. For reference, I am currently 5'7", 140 pounds, 32C/D-34C/D, and the 6 fit perfectly.

This dress would be my #1 pick for a versatile work dress. Comfortably fitted without being tight, midweight fabric.

Forgot I typically have to size down for MM LaFleur, so nothing against the dress! Only the size 8 was available, so more of an individual fit issue...

Color is a lot brighter than navy, almost purple ish. Dress fits fine, but definitely size up. It’s shorter than expected and has a weird slit at the back, but not untasteful for a biz casual day

The top was a bit big, so I felt a bit frumpy. But I got it for work and it served well.

Great dress. But if you're small chested like me, then it'll likely be baggy up top. It's still wearable, but you may want to size down or find another style.

14 was too tight in places and 16 was way too large in others.

I just don't think I am built for this dress - it fit below the waist but not above. Maybe this is better suited for an hourglass figure and not a "pear" like me!
