Loved the fit of the dress, wore it for a work and got many compliments. I liked that it wasn't too tight or too loose, it fit perfect and the length was just right on me (5'1 for reference)

I was not loving this when it arrived because it felt tight in the skirt but I ended up wearing it to work and loving it. It's so comfortable and flattering. It is basic but can be dressed up with a statement necklace. Some people didn't like the sleeves being lose but I liked the look and it made the dress very comfortable.

Simple and classic navy blue dress. Thick, high-quality fabric with perfect amount of stretch. The dress is unlined but I had no issue with it riding up. Flattering cut and perfect length. Will definitely rent again!

Wore for a work event. It was a nice simple work dress but not a stand out piece.

It's a close to the body fit with very structured fabric. Plain, so requires a statement necklace or something. It was fine and very modest.

The fabric is thick and forgiving and length is fine for winter. Looks great with black tights and can hide seams and any bulges created by tights. Very conservative neckline. Sleeves are rather loose and the thing I disliked the most about the dress, as it made the dress a touch more matronly.

Good work dress overall. I was a little surprised that it was unlined and very stretchy -- didn't seem like the quality I'd expect from the designer. Also, I found the top of the dress way too big (and I have generous arms and bust) and the bottom too small, with no waist. If you're straight up and down, this dress will probably flatter, but if you're an hourglass like me, it may be a pass.

Loved feel of material. Color and style make it an easy office pick. It's probably a 2-3 season dress since I couldn't find a jacket that fit well over the thick sleeves (they have a 2-inch hem) and its a little short for my taste and I didn't want to pair with black tights. Might be cute with brown or grey boots.

I love MML, and this is a great staple work piece from them. There is nothing fancy about it, but it is a comfortable and classic navy dress. The material is thicker which is nice for the cool weather. It does run large. I am usually a 2 in most brands but wear a 4 in MML and the 2 here fit well. The sleeves were a little loose but it wasn't noticeable.

This is a perfectly legit work dress that has a nice conservative cut. The fabric however is much thicker than what I am used to from MM Lafleur. It added bulk, thus it looked a tad matronly and was not the most flattering fit.

I was a huge fan of MM Lafleur, particularly in my pre-RTR days, when I actually bought my clothes and looked for staples that I'd want to wear again and again. The cuts are almost universally flattering and this was no exception. However, I had never tried the textured ponte, and I wasn't impressed. Too thick, which added bulk, and the texture reminded me of a polo shirt, which felt too casual/not polished.

Easy to wear all day. I liked it with white leather sneakers

If you’re tall, this borders on too short for work. The fabric is lovely and it’s super comfortable. I could only wear it with tights because of the length.

Wanted to love this but size up if you are curvy as it seems made for someone very straight.

This looked nice from the front, but it was pulling over my butt. Going up a size might have helped, but I think this was generally just made for a straighter figure than mine.

Classic styled dress, would have been great for work but... it ran small. Too fitted in my regular size (14) to wear to my conservative office. Sent back without wearing, will try again in a size 16.

I’ve tried two different dresses from MMLF and with this one I actually sized up — still too small.

I sized up to a 6 from a 4 and it was way too small on my hips.

I rented this for work and loved it so much that... I wore it again on a business trip later in the week:) The fabric is easy, it travels well. Great lines that are forgiving in the midsection. Paired with tights & knee boots.

I had rented from this brand previously in my usual 4, and the dress was huge. I rented this dress in a 0, and it fit like a 4. Great, well-made, and well-structured work dress, but size down.

Think I'm keeping it. Ponte knit, navy, lovely fitting and lovely weight to fabric. Perfect in every way. Can go from work to dinner.

I really liked the fabric & fit of this dress. Figure flattering but not clingy and not boxy. The black color looked slightly faded to me but overall a great dress for work or other occasions.

The 8 was just a little too tight for me. It is a quality dress though. I would like to try the 10 and see if that works. It is a very dark navy...not black. I didn't quite realize that when I ordered it.

Wore this for a conference cocktail reception. It was cute but I thought I looked a bit like a flight attendant. Also the fabric wrinkled more easily than expected

The shoulders and arms were very large on this one. It was fine for a day at work, but I would not buy. Looked nice with a blazer over it.
