High fashion!
Honestly, don't hate it! I was scared because of the reviews, but was determined to try... So glad I did, feels like I just hopped off the Margiela runway!! It looks "comfy" in the photos, but it's actually an elevated, stiff canvas material. Not for everyone, it's certainly a bold fashion risk but I'm all in for it. I just knotted the hanging bits to hide them. Can't wait to wear to a birthday party!

Cute Dress, Raised Straps w Removable Fashion Tape, Difficult to Walk
This dress is a head turner. Few things: (1) the chest area runs small. It was a bit snug around my breasts, but not uncomfortably so (I'm a 36C), but if you're larger and you size to fit your chest, the body of the dress is likely going to be big (2) the straps at the bottom touched the floor (I'm 5'8") so I secured them higher using removable double-sided hem / fashion tape -- worked great (3) trying to walk in it here in NYC -- the metal bits slapped my ankles and had to take small steps.

For tall gals
This dress was super different and i wanted to love it, but the straps at the bottom basically hit my ankles every step i took. It was also very hard to walk in because of how the dress fit around my legs.

Small in the chest
I’m all about a high fashion art piece but this was very impractical for walking and going on the subway. The metal straps hit you and the high quality material of the dress limits your range of motion. Size up if you’re above a B cup. I think this is great for an athletic body or an occasion where you do not need to move a lot, like a photo shoot.

Feels like military bag material -- super study, cause it's Margiela. LOVED it. Don't hesitate, for a high fashion look.

Loved this!
Definitely tight in the bust but it still fit me. I really loved this dress but if you have a large bust you would need to size up

That runway feeling
Amazing dress. It's a heavy great quality think cotton, perfect for SF, but too hot for Miami. It's more of a piece of art. The metal straps are too long - easy fix with a safety pins. If you wear with sanders prepare for the metal to hit your ankles.

Completely Unique!
What you must know up front about this dress is that it is made of a canvas like fabric, so it is thick, a bit bulky, and not stretchable at all. The strap details on the bottom hang very long, and even with heels they almost brushed the floor. There is also little adjustment you can make to the shape, only the drawstring at the waist to cinch it in a bit. So be aware when renting that this is not a shape that will work for all body types/heights. All of this being said, I absolutely loved this dress - it was different and very trend forward. I work in fashion and got lots of compliments at work. I will definitely rent again!

Large and stiff
I was looking forward to the funky design! But this dress is made of a canvas like a heavy duty military duffle bag. It is far too thick and heavy for a garment. Also, I was too short for the smallest size since the straps would drag. I could not wear it.

Not very practical
The chest area is fairly tight and the metal pieces on the straps keep banging against my ankles

You'll need heels
Unique, high-quality, easy to wear, but the straps dragged on the ground. I'm 5'5" and flat sandals were a no-go.

Got for Japan - fit the vibe but unwearable
Even though this had poor reviews, I wanted to make it work. It’s super unique and fits the unique Japan streetwear vibe I wanted, however you can’t walk in this dress no matter how you pin it. I pinned the hanging straps up and even tried to fold the dress up and tie it every which way, but it still had a rigid material at the knees that halts you from taking proper steps.

True to size, a bit long without high heels. Meh colors and material.

Way too long for my short body and super heavy/stiff fabric
This fit me ok, a little snug across the bust, but I didn’t end up wearing it. The length was too long and the straps that dangle at the bottom kept hitting my ankles when I walked, it was actually painful.

Ouch! Bruised shins from walking even when tied
This is soo cute but it’s extremely difficult to walk in. I tied up all the strings and still couldn’t walk without having to hold the dress up because the bottom of the dress didn’t have enough of a slit to walk around easily
