Rented this in addition to another dress and planned to wear in case we did anything for an LSU game, but ended up wearing it to a bridal shower. Got tons of compliments and it was pretty comfy but very fitted...wear your spanx ladies!

I am 5ft 5, 116lbs, 32DD bust, which is often problematic given my sz 0 bottom half. We were going to a Mardi Gras balcony party and I wanted to wear something great...but my husband is a physician, which means I have to keep it a bit conservative when we do things with his associates. Tough dilemma for Mardi Gras. This dress was the perfect compromise. I wore the 38 and it fit great...was tight in the top as to be expected but I preferred the overall fit to that of the sz 40. Very comfortable, classy yet fun at the same time. Highly recommended!

Cute but definitely fits snugly - size up! The fabric is stretchy but at the waist there is little give. Its a cute dress but I would have ordered a larger size next time. Its great for a casual event but you still want to stand out!

I will agree with other reviewers that this dress runs small. I ordered two sizes - 40 (aka US4, my normal dress size) and 42. The 42 fits but it's snug in the waist. There is no way I could have worn the 40! I also found the dress to be a bit sheer - for example, I can see the outline of my bra under fluorescent lights (even with the attached slip). Negativity aside, I love the '70s look to this dress.

This dress was PERFECT! I couldnt even believe it. A) I fit into the 10! B) I got so many compliments! My work had a Mad Men themed holiday party, I rented this dress, and it looked and felt great. It stayed in place all night, and I was able to sit, dance, stand, whatever I wanted! The pattern was super flattering, and the neckline was great. I have a larger chest, so this was great to hide that a little bit, but still look fun! I would rent this 1000 times over, I didnt want to send it back!!! Note: Wear a strapless bra or a racer back, I tried with a regular bra before the event, then switched to strapless, because the straps were visible.

This dress is very cute! The colors and the fact that it is knit make is distinctly Missoni. That being said, the dress really did not flatter my shape unfortunately. I am very much an hourglass so the way the stripes narrow at the waist was slimming but they also flared out at the hips which was not at all slimming. I also found that the fit at the bust was awkward as the armhole revealed too much of the side of my chest. I am busty with a 34d but it was odd because it didn't feel too tight across the chest. Overall, I would recommend this dress on cute factor alone but just make sure to choose that additional backup style.

Nice dress - liked the pattern a lot. I felt like it was made for a bustier woman however. The larger size the bust was too big, the smaller one the top was OK but the waist was too small. I wore the larger size mainly because the smaller size came without the attached slip, which I only knew was missing becausethe larger one had it. The pattern is very slimming I really liked it.

Love the dress. However, I feel like I am a true 4 so I ordered a 40. I would recommend the next size. Feels/looks like a 2.

I rented this dress for a summer party. I was a little worried about the fabric being too heavy, but it breathes nicely. The fit is a little snug, so I wore the larger of my 2 sizes. It was also nice to be able to wear a standard bra. I would recommend this dress for someone who needs something different from the standard LBD but doesn't want to be too daring.

It is very flattering in the waist. I did not LOVE the length, an inch shorter would have done wonders. The cut is just a bit plain and simple for my taste.

Well, I was very disappointed with my first Rent the Runway experience. I ordered sizes 38 and 40 of this dress, based on careful reading of all the reviews. While both of them technically fit me - the 40 was much better, the 38 a little too tight - the WAY they fit me was terrible. It's hard to describe but it looked really weird and unflattering on my body. The top was small (overall it's a small fit) and the waist falls at an odd place and creates a poof, the arm holes are cut awkwardly for wearing a bra under, and the skirt did not fall nicely around my hips and rear at all. Needless to say, I had to ditch this dress and buy another the day of the party, which was a lovely, adorable little black dress. What a waste of money. On the up side, when the dress arrived I was pleased to see that it was very pretty in person (on the hanger) - I liked the colors and patterns, and the material kept it from being too dressy, which I was going for.

This dress runs small. I am usually a 6 or 8, but the 44 was too tight. I don't think this is a good dress for a curvy woman.
