I ordered sizes 6 and 8 and wore size 8. It fit perfectly, a little too perfectly but my advice would be to order the next size up than you normally wear just to be safe. I would have liked to been able to choose between a size 8 and size 10.

Fit perfectly. If you are between two sizes, go with bigger size. Material looks expensive, and color was exactly as shown. A bit short, but I am 5'2", so it was not a problem for me. Overall, loved it!

Got a 2 and a 4, ended up wearing the 4. Fit perfectly and was super comfortable! It was a bit short when I sat down, but other than that it was great. I got a lot of compliments on it, and I will definitely use RTR again and again!

The highlight: This green and black beauty was so perfect that when I posted a pic of my husband and me on FB, I had friends coming out of the woodwork to say how good I looked. The lowlight: The dress is short and tight in the hips/thighs. I could fit into the 4, but I wore the 6 and felt great all night. If you're a redhead, you can't go wrong in this dress. A stylist picked the Kate Spade Clink Clink necklace, and it was stunning.

The dress fit a tad snug in my hips but perfectly up top. Great length not too short or not too long. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I loved this dress! I'm 5'3 and it was a good length! Comfortable and got a lot of compliments! :) the color underneath shines more in the light and is a beautiful color!

I wore this to an early fall wedding in Michigan. The green color is a deep shimmery teal underneath the black lace and is really pretty in person. I typically wear an 8 but I ended up wearing the 10 because I thought it would be more comfortable. I wish I would have gone with the 8 because the dress gave a little bit and I would have been just fine in it.

This was my first experience with RTR and it was amazing! I will definitely rent again. The dress fits true to size, however was much shorter than I expected on my 5'9", long torso body. Was great for the NYE party, but may have been too short for a wedding. The green is a shiny sparkle and was shows up great in pictures with a flash. I received compliments all night! The dress is also fully lined, which was great. Overall, such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely perfect for my work holiday party, As mentioned in other reviews, the green layer is quite bright but perfectly balanced with the black lace. The black trim highlighted my waist in the perfect area and I was comfortable with the length (just above the knees) and the fit, which was snug without riding up at all. Would definitely recommend it to others!

The fit is very flattering and comfortable to wear move around and dance. It comes out great on pictures and it was easy to pick up my accessories to go with it. This dress was a great choice for the occasion ( work holiday party)

This was my back up dress after my original rental was too big that should have been my first choice! RTR was amazing in overnighting this dress and with their service on the phone and helping me with my credits. The only bad thing I can say is that I should have stuck with my gut and ordered smaller.. I changed my mind after reading everyone else's reviews that this ran small and didn't have much stretch which is true but I'm also very petite up top and it ended up gapping and showing my bra all night.. I originally ordered the 4 and had 2 as back up and switched to the 6 but should have stuck with my original thought. In any case.. Compliments all night long and people asking to borrow the dress!

When I RTR, fit is my #1 priority. The dress itself is somewhere between "runs small" and "true to size". To give you an idea of my size, I'm almost always a 4, rarely a 2 and am 5'2" and probably about 120 in the photo. I wore the 4 and the fit was a bit snug but accentuated my curves. Fit aside, the only part that was a bit deceiving was the color of the green beneath the lace--it's quite bright and sparkly (doesn't seem that way online). Not necessarily a bad thing, though. Overall, I would DEFINITELY rent this dress again. It's gorgeous. It made me feel fantastic.

I got this dress in the 2 and 4 after reading the reviews that mentioned it was a little on the short side - both dresses fit but the 4 was much more appropriate in terms of length at a black tie optional wedding downtown. I was completely comfortable and the shimmery fabric was gorgeous and really fun. This dress also worked well for an unseasonably warm fall wedding - If you want compliments all night long, I definitely recommend this dress!

The dress fit like a glove. I'm small on bust area but big on the hips. The 6 was a little big on top but not a big deal. At first when I got the dress I was a little skeptical because the green underneath is glittery but once I tried it on it looked completely different. This dress was perfect to a fall wedding.

The 4 fit me perfectly but i ended up wearing the 6 because it was a little longer. Like other comments the dress is a little short but I was very comfortable in the size I chose. I'll definitely look for this designer for future rentals!

I have broad shoulders was worried it would be tight, but it wasn't. Everyone loved it. I does ride up pretty high when you sit so it you are wearing longer spanx watch out!

The material does not offer much stretch, but fit very well. The green is very sparkly, but is complimented and toned down by the black lace. It truly sparkles and looks very pretty in lights. I paid it with the suggested drop earrings and they were perfect for the dress. I wish I could have kept it!

The dress was beautiful but not very breathable and ran a little small. It was a great color and goes with a wide variety of accessories. It was a little shorter than I expected, and I am a short person to begin with. The lining of the dress is a satin material and does not have a lot of wiggle room.

The fit was great for me, but might be a little snug in the chest for bustier ladies. The green was so much sparklier in person, which I loved! Super fun dress.

Wore to a summer wedding. Got lots of compliments. Fit was great. Length was appropriate. I could have fit into a size 0 but I wanted to be able to eat lol.

This dress is very comfortable and has a flattering silhouette. I typically wear a 4 or a 6, and the 6 definitely fit better across my hips. It can be worn with a regular bra, which is a huge plus. I wore it for a summer wedding, and at first I was worried that green and black color made it look wintery. Others at the wedding thought it looked fine for summer however. The green layer is indeed very shimmery, but I think the black lace covers it sufficiently to make it not look tacky. I would definitely recommend this dress.

Great dress - comfortable to wear and looked great and didn't need a lot of accessories. I am 5'7" and, while it was great standing up, it was REALLY short when sitting down. It does come in at the back a little, so a racerback bra would be more suitable than a regular bra. It's a really pretty dress on - very classy.

Ordered 2 and 4, went with the 4 since I am bigger in the bust area and was perfect. Bottom trim on the dress is just black lace without lining and is gorgeous. Color is great, and the shape and cut of the dress and waist is extremely flattering, smoothing and elongating since it is high quality and has structure and lining. Contemporary, sexy and classy.

The dress fit perfectly and it is very classy. I has a higher neckline, but it wasn't high enough to feel like it was choking me. The length was about mid thigh when standing and did rise when sitting, but it was still classy. It was snug and flattering to the natural waistline, but not restricting. It was a fantastic choice for my birthday because it was fancy, but not over the top. Definitely an excellent choice for a cocktail party.

I am normally an 8 with a Pear shape. The dress has very little give. I have larger hips...the 10 fit perfectly. If I would have worn the 8, it kept riding up and I kept having to pull it down. I loved this dress though. I got so many compliments on it and I would definitely wear it again. The underlay is a little more shimmery than in the picture but it's still a beautiful dress.

I am a 34c bust and the top fit great. The bottom was a bit tight but not too tight or uncomfortable. I will warn you, the dress is short! I am 5'3" and when sitting, watch out! It is a beautiful dress and I would definitely recommend!

Based on the size chart for this one, and other reviews, I ordered the 8 and the 10 for a May wedding in Southern California. Both fit, but I knew the 10 would be more comfortable after dinner/on the dance floor. There isn't much give to the dress, but it's very forgiving and pretty flattering. The green fabric is more sparkly than I thought, but I didn't mind. I received so many compliments and would recommend this dress to one and all!

This dress was wonderful! I wore it to a wedding. A strange note is that the zipper was super easy to work! The things I was worried about: the shiny fabric- this photographed well and wasn't a big worry, the trim lace: was a little frayed, but ended up looking really nice, the bra: for bigger chested women I would suggest grabbing some fashion tape to make sure the dress stays on a racer back bra, but it worked well for me.

I fit into both sizes but the size 4 seemed to give me more shape. The green color underneath the black lace is stunning and really sparkles in the sunlight. I have nothing negative to say about this dress. I would really like to own it!

The size 2 fit was great, however the arms come in a little at the shoulders like a racerback, so having a bra that comes together in the back would have helped it from showing and me adjusting. I wear a size 32C bra and the bust fit fine but there is no stretch to this so remember that when ordering! Got LOTS of compliments, I felt great!

I wore this dress to my company holiday party and it was perfect! It's very fitted and flattering but also conservative enough for an event with your all your bosses. The green underlay of the dress is actually more of a dark teal than a hunter green (which I was expecting from the picture) but it was still festive and pretty! I paired it with the Nicole Miller Magnolia Flower earrings which added a nice touch of sparkle. I would definitely recommend this dress for any holiday event or winter wedding!
