Beautiful dress. The multitude of colors makes it easy to wear for a variety of events. I wore it for a friend's rehearsal dinner last August and accessorized with the Lulu Frost Drifting Leaves Necklace. Keep in mind that it is silk though, so the fabric doesn't stretch. I usually wear a 0 but went with the 2.

I rented this dress for an Oscars party. The size two fit me perfectly! I was a little scared it was going to be too long, but it wasn't. I got a lot of compliments. Glad I rented it and would certainly rent it again!

I wear a size 2 normally but thank god I had the back up of the size 4! The dress was a little tight on my hips and my bust. I was able to get the 2 on and zipped but it was clear that it was tight. The 4 looked just as flattering and I felt more relaxed in my movement. I love the colors! Accessories were easy to pick because there are so many colors in the dress! I recommend gold and purple though for a nice bold look. You can wear any bra with it! No worries on straps or open back. If you are a smaller person though and wear bras that add a lot for special occasions be cautious on your size because the bust was tight and the material doesn't stretch. For the price of the rental and the amount of compliments I got I would high recommend this dress for a party, wedding, and showers.

This was my first go around with RTR for a March wedding I had and I could not have been happier! I love the fact that the dress comes a couple of days before the event, just incase it doesn't fit or there are any issues there is a 24 hour window that allows you to address any problems. I ordered this dress in a 6 and 8, I went with the 6 as you can see it was a little snug in the hips (I was about 7-8 lbs heavier then than I am now, so I was about 134 lbs in this photo) but the 8 was just too loose up top, I was still able to dance, sit and mingle comfortably. It actually photographs nicer than in the photo on the website too! The material was a little static-y but it was the end of wintertime so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I have another wedding in October and I cannot wait to rent another dress!

I got so many compliments on this dress! It was classy, form-fitting, and the colors are stunning. I rented it for a "cocktail attire" early October wedding, which did end up being rather chilly because it was outdoors. It would be fine for a summer wedding and I added tights and a wrap for the early Fall. It is made of a shiny and soft printed silk (not woven like I had thought from the picture). The dress is quite tight and narrow - I'm quite slim but and if I had any hips at all I wouldn't have been able to get it on. I'm a 0 in some sizes and in skirts and usually a solid 2, 4s are a bit roomy. In this dress, I barely squeezed into the 0 and couldn't move in it. I slipped into the 2 and it fit perfectly, but I still had to hike it up in order to sit in it because it has zero stretch or give. A 4 probably would've looked fine on me rather than roomy. Also want to mention that I had a great first Rent the Runway experience after hearing about it for a long time!

I rented this dress for my sister (pictured). She says the pros: The colors, the length and the fit. The Cons: The zipper was on the side instead of the back which made it somewhat difficult to get in/out of. It was a nice and lightweight fabric. She usually wears a size 6 but had to go up to a size 8, because the rib cage area was too small.

This dress gave me curves, which I usually don't have, so I thought it was great! It was very fitted everywhere above the butt on my body. I thought this dress was a perfect choice for my work's annual benefit event - it was very cute and fun but still covered me up!

The six fit nice (standing), but I went with the 8 so I could sit comfortably! Haha--- it was a little more roomy around the upper chest area, but overall a great fit. It was beautiful, perfect for a summer wedding! I got tons of compliments and felt great. I danced all night and wasn't concerned with it riding up. Great experience with my first rental!

This dress was awesome! Wore this for the rehersal dinner for my sis's wedding. This was the perfect length and it fit in all the right places. The pattern was fun but not outrageous. Everyone complimented on it and it looked awesome with my blond highlights and sun glasses. I will say that it the fit is on the tighter side. I thought the 4 was going to totally work but the 6 was a bit nicer to move in the hip area. It was a bit gappy in the chest area but that's to be expected but didn't look crazy. Great dress for the event and it was fun!

I wore this dress to a friend's birthday party. I am petite and have wider hips. The dress fit great on the bottom. The top was a little loose especially in the back, but it wasn't too noticeable. I'd adjust it now and them. It was good at hiding the tummy area. I loved the print! I got lots of compliments.

The cut at the waist and pleats are extremely flattering - gave me a nice curvy shape. The material was really nice, and the colors bright. It's a classic dress which would work for many occasions.

I was worried about it fitting snug, but it actually fit very well. I am flat chested so I had a little extra space in the bust area. The fabric does not stretch but it didn't cause any problems for all the dancing I did at the reception! It hit at about the knee on me. I wore purple heels and the colors are very bright! I usually lean towards black dresses, but this dress was a perfect blend of color and that's what I was looking for!

I normally wear either a 2 or a 4, and I ended up going with a 4, since the 2 was a bit tight in the hips. I'd recommend ordering a size up for your backup. This dress is classy and sophisticated, and the beautiful colors really make it stand out. The rouching at the side makes for a flattering fit.

I wore this dress to a NYE wedding and reception at an art gallery in DC. Based on other reviews of the dress (no stretch/the dress is tight around the bust and hips/thighs), I ordered a size up and two sizes up for my back-up size. I ended up wearing the 12. Although a little loose around my waist, it was the right choice and made for a more comfortable experience sitting during the wedding ceremony and dancing at the reception. The colors were even more beautiful in person, especially with the gallery lighting. Overall, it was a memorable evening and a great first RTR experience!

Pros: had buttons on the shoulders to secure your bra in place. Lighter fabric than I thought which was nice for the warm weather that we ended up with. The way the fabric bunches gives the illusion of a more hour glass figure. I'm pretty straight all the way down so I loved it. Cons: Not meant for girls with big butts. Was definitely tight on me in just that area and as a result did this weird bunching thing in the front that wasn't too noticeable.

Great dress! I have an athletic build with a large chest and thicker middle. I felt sexy in this dress and I was still able to sit and dance comfortably even though it fit on the snug side through the hips. It is so flattering - the colors and style distract from problem areas. This was my first RTR experience and I'm sold!

I wore a size 8. It was a perfect fit. I wore it to a special event. The Book Of Mormon. It was a great choice for the afternoon matinee. I really liked the color of the dress. It was very comfortable to wear. I would rent it again. Love all Milly Designs.

I wore this to a beautiful wedding at an art museum so I aired on the side of conservative because of the venue. I loved the colors in this dress, and the design seemed very painterly. Unfortunately the first size I wanted was unavailable, but in true RTR form, customer service let me chose a backup dress of my choice to make up for it. I ended up sticking with the larger size of my first choice, so it was a little roomy around my middle. I added a small belt to bring it in, and finished with a chunky necklace and & heels. It was light weight for a warm summer wedding. Very pretty, I would rent again.

I'm reviewing this for my niece (18 yo) who wore it to my tea party themed bridal shower with black tights and a fascinator hat (I wore the Trina Turk dress, also from RTR). I would say this is the kind of dress that you see a girl in and you think to yourself "hm that's a cute dress, I wonder where she got it from (because I haven't seen it at H&M, Express, Macys...)" There is a side panel thing that really adds an interesting element to the dress. The colors are vibrant but not super loud so you can wear it during the day or evening. It doesn't have any stretch so I would say it runs true to size; my niece is busty/ athletic but I think this dress would work with someone who is smaller on the stop and has some hips. To sum it up, I wouldn't say this dress is a head turner or have people stumbling over themselves to look at it but I would say this is a great dress for a work event, casual wedding, bridal/ baby shower, or even a date! I asked me niece and she said she really liked it.

This was a great dress to wear to a daytime summer wedding. As other people have mentioned, it's very tight around the hips. I almost wore the 2 because of this, but I'm glad I didn't because the 2 was a little loose on top, and dancing in the 0 didn't end up being a problem.

I read reviews stating how the fit would be a bit snug and I am a girl with hips so, I was a bit hesitant; however, I ordered the 12 and normally I wear a 10 and the dress fit perfectly. If you have a bigger bust maybe a C-cup then the dress may fit a bit tight on the upper half since the dress has no stretch at all. I wore this dress for a wedding and received many compliments. The dress looks a bit dark but the colors are vibrant. It is very comfortable and great for dancing.

I rented a Kate Spade dress to wear to the Kentucky Derby, but it didn't fit. So this was actually a backup dress that I got in a 10 and 12. I took the advice of another RTR review of this dress that suggested getting two sizes up from my usual size (which is an 8.) The 10 was able to zip, but for a girl with curves, it was just too small to be comfortable. However, the 12 fit just fine and was perfect for the Derby. I'll also say that RTR was great about getting me this dress in exchange for the dress that didn't fit. Quick e-mail response even after hours and the dress arrived at 9:30 Saturday morning, just in time to put on and leave for my event! For this reason I'm very glad that I chose to have my original dress arrive 2 days ahead of the needed date instead of 1.

I wore this for my boyfriend's Barrister's Ball and loved it! It is not too short and has an elegant boat neckline. This is a very classic dress. It IS tight around the middle, but with control top hose I had no problem. I wore it with the Silver Bright Spot Necklace from kate spade ny accessorie and it was a perfect accent! Perfect with simple, chic black heels. I would wear this dress again.

Overall this is a beautiful dress. Loved the colors! The fit was just weird. It was tight on my hips so the dress would rise up. The top part was very loose. I wore it anyway but was pulling on it all night. I would not rent this again.

The dress was light and pretty in person. For my body shape I felt like like it was to boxy. I have hips and small waist so this dress was not to flattering on the lower half. Otherwise it was was a pretty dress. I'm 5'1 and it hit me right above the knee, a good length.

I read the reviews and ordered one size up for my first size and two sizes up for my back up. It's all about finding the right fit for the hips and the chest. Size 6 was fine for my hips but the top of the dress was a bit too big. I hid the imperfections by wearing a full body shape wear with padded bra underneath. I really love the colors of the dress, and though the fit was not perfect, it was worth the extra effort to make it all work out.

I really enjoyed this dress! I receive a lot of compliments on the colors and it was appropriate for the weddingI attended. The only draw back is that I could tell it had been worn because the hem didn't lie flat, as it wasn't sewn all the way through. It was also slightly tighter than other 12s I have worn, but I have never worn anything by Milly, so now I know! It was still roomy around the chest, though.

The fit of this dress was larger on top and very snug on the bottom. Granted I've got a bum...I was shocked to see how ill fitting this dress was to my body shape. I had a poor experience with this dress. Up close, there were white lines that ran up and down the right bottom side of this dress. In addition, there was a larger tear in the side of the dress that I didn't notice until I was at the cocktail hour. Considering the cost--the actual wear of this dress seemed really cheap. People did like the dress on me....but I was not happy with the rental.

I saw reviews for this dress said it ran small, so instead of ordering a size 2 & 4 as a backup (as I normally wear), I ordered a 4 & 6 as a backup. The 6 was apparently unavailable, so only the 4 arrived with two other dresses in size 6. Thankfully, the dress I ordered in size 4 fit. However, I noticed a black string on the right seam near the bottom of the dress, so I tucked it in. Throughout the night, I noticed the string had gotten longer and noticed the seam was unraveling! Thankfully I had a couple safety pins! Although, I was very aware of my dress falling apart through the evening. It was a pretty pattern and I did get compliments.

The dress was really pretty. I wish it had been just a tiny bit larger, as I usually wear a size 6 in pants and dresses and it was pretty snug. It probably would have been perfect on someone with a smaller bust size (I am a D cup) ut who wears a 6.

i'm glad i read the other reviews, this one runs small. i usually wear a 4 but this 4 was pretty snug. 6 fit me well. very comfortable and looked great for the evening. i'd definitely rent this one again!

This was my backup dress. When I put it on, it was beautiful and fit great, but I loved and wore the dress I wanted. I will order this again for another event though!
