It was true to size. I have a larger chest so this worked out perfectly for my body type. If you are smaller on top I would size down. It has the internal bodice that gives added support to keep the dress from slipping. It hides stomach Imperfections pretty well. I will definitely rent again

Like others said the top runs very large. I don’t think I could have gone down a size since the mid section fit perfectly. The built in bra definitely helps keep it up but does cause a gap in the back. I wore a shawl to cover. Compliments all night long! Beautiful texture and fun twist to a basic. Definitely recommend to rent.

This dress was an elevation on the LBD. I enjoyed the extra security of the strap to keep the dress from slipping and offering support- I didn't have to haggle with pulling up a strapless all day. The overlay is so pretty- so many compliments.

Probably could have sized down a size bc the fit around the bust/back was a bit loose but fit my waist and legs perfectly. There is an adjustable strap on the inside that helped me tighten things around the bust but there was still a lot of room left. Would def order again in the right size.

Fun and unique and the interior strap held it up so well. My only reason for not buying was the material is a bit bulky and did nothing for the waist before the belt, but fit and wore well for a themed event.

I rented a size 8 instead of my normal 6 as it wasn't available. this is a stunning dress in person. Well made. However it fit everywhere except the bust area. There is an amazing inner bra strap which held the dress up perfectly but the dress around my chest was 2" larger and there was no way to adjust. I'd rent this again in the 6 and hope it fit my hips. I'm 5'8. 34"chest circumference with a d cup. My hips are 38-40 and I have a long torso.

It looks lovely from the front but the back was gaping. I love the product quality. I sadly had nothing to wear it for. I would try another Milly outfit.

Didn't wear but fit - a sturdy/thick "lace." Was a little difficult to close as one person due to inner corset closure, but that helped with the fit.

I love this dress. I sized up from a 10 to a 12 and it simply would not close/zip On the back. I have a wide ribcage- I was so sad.

Too baggy in the boob area

Beware of this one. I originally ordered a 2 and couldn’t get it zipped so I went up to a 4 and it was HUGE at the top. Thought maybe the 2 was defective since everyone said size up, and tried again. The second size 2 I got was also HUGE at the top. The first one was either defective or altered. Very disappointing. Could not wear.

The dress is so cute but the top runs really big. Once you clasp the "corset" part, its leaves a huge gap between ten you and the dress.

This dress would have been perfect except the band around the bodice gaped open. I'm not sure if the dress is defective but it did not fit tightly like in the picture.
