Tips - lots of clear clothing tape for gaps around the sides/chest. The tape actually worked really well. Have someone help you button the dress around the neck and make sure to use the little hook at the top of the zipper. I steamed the dress and it worked well. Overall it was the perfect dress and very comfortable. Would rent this again!

Took a chance on this one, and I’m so glad I did! I wore it to a wedding anniversary dinner and absolutely loved the look. The fit seemed designed for a fuller bust than mine, but nothing a little boob insert couldn’t fix—lol.

The low back on this dress is stunning and sexy. Wore to a black tie event, paired with pumps, leather jacket and a slick back bun. Perfect!

I wore this to my husband’s work party it was sexy yet modest. I’m 5’8” and it hit mid calf so I think this best for my height or taller. I’m a 34DD so the larger size fit with a little room in the waist but I could have worn an 8.

I am b/w Size 4-6. I've got hips & bootie which this small/size 4 fit like a glove around. One side of chest kept poofing out so I kept pulling dress down. But still stunning! Also warm!! I wore when real feel temps were 5°F and when taking pix outside for a hot moment I wasn't cold. Dress is well lined and heavy fabric. I didn't want to send back! One of my faves! I loved this dress. It made me feel so chic! And it was perfect for a black tie optional New York City wedding. I ended up wearing the back up size, so I was glad I ordered it. To be fair, both sizes "fit"--the smaller just fit better. I think the dress runs a tiny bit big. I recommend going on the Milly website and seeing their exact measurements for hips-waist-bust to get the best size. I ended up feeling like I didn't need a bra, but choose your own adventure on that! The dress was easy to dance in, pretty comfortable, and made for a fun night!

I'm usually a size 4 and this 4 fit perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised by how flexible the material was--able to dance, move, and breathe without any problem. Can't wear a bra, so I went with some pasties; they did the job. Felt elegant but also stylish. Great dress!

Wore for a wedding and was obsessed. The cut is flattering in the front but not overly special, which perfectly complements the beautiful deep cut in the back.

I was worried I wouldn't like the bottom of the dress but the flow is super pretty and the fit was perfect.

Wore this to a formal gala in Thailand where it’s hot and humid. The perfect sleeveless and backless style was perfect for the hot weather and the fabric wasn’t too heavy but had some structure to it. This dress fit like a glove and snatched me in! Loved it! My favorite piece I’ve rented so far!

I often struggle between wanting to feel sexy and yet not wanting to be too exposed in my chest, and this dress was the perfect middle ground. I needed fashion tape on the side boob and the low back makes it hard to wear spanx, but worth it! Dress quality is amazing, dresses by Milly always are…

I wore this dress to a gala dinner and loved it! It fits so nicely and the material is thick and expensive feeling. It does not wrinkle. I did use some double sided tape around the top just to hold the material down but I didn’t fear anything slipping out.

I'm between sizes - I'm usually a 4-6 on tops and 6-8 for bottoms. For this dresss, the 8 ended up being way too big on top and I didn't fill out the breast area and left some sagging fabring around my arm pits. So I ended up wearing the 6 even though it was a little tight around the butt because the stretch lines around my thighs were better than gaping cups. Note, I'm 5'3" and this was a floor length dress on me. Overall, super happy and I got a few compliments 😄

This dress was so comfortable. I loved wearing it and wish that I had a better picture. The back is open and low cut, so a bra is out of the question. The skirt is full and added such a nice flow to the look. It is a really good all around black dress that would work for a variety of occasions. It is on my list to purchase! I also must mention that I made a mistake and ordered this dress for the wrong weekend. It ended up arriving very early, so I was able to wear it to my event. Thank you RTR.

The fabric is beautiful, well lined, and has a nice stretch to it. The dress lays just right and showed off curves I didn’t even realize I had. The open back is gorgeous. The back has a zipper, but the dress is really held up by the buttons on the back of the mock neck portion. That rubbed my skin by the end of the night, but that is my ONLY complaint. Would definitely recommend!!! I want to buy this dress and use it as my go-to black dress.

Rented this dress for my work gala and was a little nervous about the fit after reading some of the reviews but ended up absolutely loving it! Also super comfortable to wear all day. I ended up using my smaller backup size (used 0 - normally a size 2) because there was some gaping at the hips and I also got fashion tape just in case there was gaping on the sides/in the back like some of the other reviews recommended… I didn’t end up needing it but happy I had just in case.

Really going to snatch your waist! Super elegant and simple! It is very firm fitting in the waist area so I would just be conscious of that if you don’t want anything right on your midsection.

Loved how form fitting this dress was. The only issue I had was that the open back was gaping and had to be taped on the sides. I had to tie the hanger straps together to keep them from falling out.

I was obsessed with the fit of this dress. I loved the open back and received so many compliments. I am usually self conscious about my tummy area but the material on this dress made me feel confident. I am pair shaped so the bottom fit perfectly and the top was a little loose.

Would definitely recommend getting some boob tape with this one. The neck is small, but the chest area was a little too big for me, and I'm big breasted. So many compliments. Such a classy dress.

Easy to wear

Such a perfect, classy, timeless black dress. I was completely comfortable in this dress from top to bottom. A great length, and great neckline. Although I didn't photograph it, the best thing about it is the back. It scoops all the way down to the waist. I didn't wear a bra, just nipple protectors, but they probably weren't even really necessary because the fabric is relatively thick. Lots of compliments all night long. Basic black done right.

Wore this for a 'formal dress code' NYE wedding. I was a guest & my bf knew the couple; I wanted something attractive because of the holiday, but safe by being classic and cleavage covered. The back is low cut, LBD, little sexy mermaid element while keeping it safe.

I liked this dress but ended up going with another that I rented. The cut was interesting - I liked the open back aspect but I felt like the neckline was a little bit too big, making me look larger than I am. It was a good backup dress, but likely won’t rent again.
