I rented this and absolutely loved it. I thought it fit well--I will say the hips run a little narrow. Other than that, it was perfect. This is one I wish I owned. I didn't realize that the dress had a dark navy blue (thought it was black when I saw it from the picture) on top and through out the skirt. The mix of colors on the skirt looked beautiful and loved how the top shows off the arms.

I wore this dress to class, just because I wanted to dress things up for a change. I got a lot of compliments, especially amidst all the people in their sweatpants and hoodies. Normally I wear a 10, but I rented the 12 because the 10 was not available. The top is a really comfortable stretch fabric, but the bottom didn't really have any stretch at all. I indicated that the dress ran small because the bottom was tight around my hips/upper thighs even though I ordered a larger size. The lining on the skirt tended to pucker out at the bottom, which was a little annoying. Also, the belt shown in the RTR photo was missing when I received my order, but I made due with the white belt in my photo. Other than that, I was happy with this rental, and would encourage others to give this dress a try!

The only complaint I had is that because the bottom is above the knee, having a slit in the back center made me a little self conscious of bending over all day. Overall, great dress!

I wore this to a friend's daytime engagement party, and then also wore it to work the following day! (Hey, a girl's gotta get the most out of her investment, right?). The dress is very cute and flattering. It does run a tad small overall, but definitely true to size for Milly (I typically wear a size 4 but always need a 6 in Milly). I wrote it with a thick gold necklace, nude heels and a blue clutch, and got a lot of compliments.

By the end of the night, the number of compliments I garnered in this dress were getting embarrassing (but not really, who doesn't love that?). I have a lot of luck with this brand and the dress fit totally true to size. I agree with others that the waistline is unexpectedly high but I found it to be flattering in a sexy conservative kind of way. Definitely pair with a statement necklace to break up the mock neck.

Loved this dress, wore it to a wedding shower and it was perfect. The size 2 fit like a glove. I usually wear a 4 or 6 so size down. I think Milly alwasy runs big. It was really easy and comfortable to wear. I felt great in it! Great pick for spring.

I rented this for a Bat Mitzvah (synagogue part), but it would be perfect for a church event or any event that requires a respectful image. It was just lovely and looked new. Runs true to size, so keep that in mind because I usually have to size up for designers like Milly, but not in this dress.

Cute, but tight around the collar, almost feels like it's joking you. I would like a size smaller because it stretchy.

I really LOVED this dress!! It is SO cute! I felt the dress ran really small in the hips. I am 5'9 and heavier on the bottom. I usually wear a 6 and wore the 8. I just ordered it again for another function and am getting a 10. It would work better with straight figures. But the fabric is amazing and I felt so cute in it even though I looked a little curvier!

Very flattering but is for more of a sraight body type. I love Milly but there is a big diffrence between sizes, the 2 was a tad snug but 4 is way to big.

I wore this dress to my brother's military graduation last Spring. Overall the style worked well for outdoor weather and was conservative enough given the type of event. I wore the 4 most of the day and changed into my backup size (6) for dinner that evening. Only downside is the skirt portion doesn't have any stretch so I recommend ordering a size up if you have an hour glass shape like me.

Cute dress that received a lot of compliments. There's a slit in the back that runs a little high, and the turtle neck part of the dress is a bit tight, so I opted to wear the larger size that I ordered. It fit like a glove. Aside from the neck part being a bit uncomfortable at times, the dress itself is lovely. I'm not curvy at all, so I can't imagine how tight this dress would fit on someone with more than me.

I wore this dress to a baby shower at a country club and it felt perfectly conservative but festive for the event. The shower was in August and though the material doesn't breathe a lot, we were inside, so i was all good in the air conditioning.

I usually can wear Milly is size 6, but I ordered the 8 based on the reviews I read here. It was high waisted on me and looked ridiculous. I had to send it back unworn.

Loved this dress! It fit very well except the slit in the back was a little high for the 0 but the 2 was overall baggy so I dealt with it (nothing showed just felt like it did).

Neck was tight... I have a very skinny neck and I felt it was chocking me a bit. I ended up not wearing it. RTR was amazing though... they shipped to the hotel where I was staying!

This is a beautiful dress but do not rent it if you are more of a pear shape. The top was a little big and the bottom was so tight on my hips. This dress is definitely for straight body types. But it is a great dress and great colors!

This is a cute dress but NOT for people over 5'9" tall! Super short and ill fitting.

I have worn Milly before, and this dress runs small in the hips. I was unable to wear either size (0,2) and I usually wear a 0 in Milly. I was disappointed, as the dress was beautiful in person and looked very classy on the hanger. Because it is cut so narrow in the hip area, it puckers in that area. Overall, it was unflattering due to this. If you are comfortable with Milly and know your sizing....ORDER UP A SIZE OR TWO!
