This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I'm 5'2" and a size zero and it was a little large but still precious. The fabric is not soft so don't expect it!

Overall, I loved this dress; but it was a little tight around the hips, and big at my waist.

Wore this gem for 2012 New Years in NYC while hosting my college girlfriends from out of town. It was as stunning on as it is on the RTR Model (and that says a lot!!) The only downside was the fabric/material was a little uncomfortable and also got caught on my necklace so I wouldn't recommend wearing any neck jewelry if you're not willing to risk the health of your dress or jewelry but honestly, this outfit doesn't need much to dress it up. RTR also provided the NYE crown pictured as well as some cute holiday items and a handwritten note. They THEN offered to sell me the dress for a steal of $85 the next day. I turned it down, but talk about retail remorse. Biggest regret as all my girlfriends who saw the picture still ask if they can borrow it!

This dress is pretty short--if you intend on wearing Spanx or control-top hose, be careful about raising your arms up! I'd actually recommend solid color tights or hose that aren't control-top. The first time, it's a little hard to get into, so it takes a few tries to get it on. I'd recommend NOT putting on your makeup before putting on the dress.

This dress is much more beautiful than pictured. It is gold lace, as opposed to the yellow color that's on the model. I went a size up as I am in my second trimester and it fit perfect!

In the picture, this dress looks faint gold and it appears to be a loose flowing lace. In reality, it is a very deep gold, much much shinier than it appears, and incredibly stiff. It's really cool looking and well made. Just don't be misled by the picture. I would only recommend this for someone with zero curves, as it falls straight and will NOT move. Too stiff for a belt, so you will have no waist. I'm glad I got a back up!

I loved this dress, it was my back-up dress but I ended up wearing it. The other reviews are right: its VERY shiny and gold and really looks vintage- if you want something modern this isn't for you. I'm a vintage junkie though so I was thrilled. A tad short but looks great with black tights. Would also look great with a cinched belt but I wore it without. If you love a vintage look and want to look glamorous for a night this is perfect! I had people complimenting me all night and asking me where I got such a great find.

I loved this dress! Like some of the other reviews said, it was a lot shiner than it looks in the pictures, but I didn't mind - perfect for my rehearsal dinner. It fit me really well; I love the length and the elbow-length sleeves. All in all, a fun, festive dress!!

I rented this as my back-up dress. It was very pretty. I did not wear it..preferred my first choice dress. I am usually a size 2 or 4. I rented this in a 4 and 6..the 4 was too big..the dress has princess seams so the dress should be fitted in the body..which in the size 4 it wasn't. It would have fit nicely in the size 2.

I absolutely adored this dress! I wore it to a formal new year's day party and received a ton of compliments. My boyfriend told me I looked like Jackie O. with blonde hair and loved it. Note that it is a bit boxy/"shift-like" but does run fairly true to size. I'm usually a 6-8 in dresses and found it was true. The fabric feels more like a brocade than anything, but I really loved this dress.

I have to say, I've always been pleased with my rent the runway rentals, but when this dress arrived it smelled like body odor. The smell was so strong I couldn't wear it. Luckily I had a back up size, but ended up having to wear the one that was a little too big. The dress itself is pretty and received many compliments (I wore it to a NYE party), but it is rather itchy and uncomfortable.

I wore this to my teaching tenure ceremony. I loved it! Everyone complimented me on it! The lace is modern but with a bit of a vintage vibe . The color is very nice and it looked great with my tan. I wore it with nude patent high heels and my hair straightened and long. I accessorized it with a purple coctail ring. It was so pretty. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the lace on the sleeves where it meets the shoulders was a bit itchy. I loved this dress!!

I love love love this dress! It was the perfect length for my short stature and it looked amazing on. However, it does run a little large in the waist area, but it's not noticeable by others.

Fit great on me... I wasnt looking for a slimming or sexy look. I felt it was a little tight in the chest and armpit areas, however I would not have worn the next size up. Beautiful dress! Very high quality.

As I know from now renting a few, Milly dresses are NOT for large busted women! Unfortunately this was tight and boxy on me, so I didn't wear it. My friend that was between a size 6 and 8, who has a B cup chest, ended up wearing this for Christmas, and it worked out great!

Cute dress, fabric a bit scratchy, but was perfect for the Christmas dinner I wore it too. Was expecting it to be a bit shinier in person, but gold fabric was more subdued than I anticipated, which worked out great.

I needed something modest for my husband's work holiday party and this was the ideal choice. I was able to fit into the 0 with plenty of room when I am normally a 2. It is a very sweet dress. I didn't particularly feel fashionable but I did very much like a lady - the perfect hostess.

This dress is drastically shinier than the picture lets on. I looked like a Christmas ornament/gold potato sack. My husband hated it, and I did not wear it to our Thanksgiving as planned. Huge bummer! The lace is good quality at least.

This dress is awful. To date I have rented 10+ dresses and never have had a negative thing to say until now. Thank god I had a back up dress! It looks like your grandmothers horrific curtain material was turned into a dress. It falls like a Potato sack over your body, and the material is AWFUL. It is stiff, itchy, and the color is completely different then what is shown online. Stay away!
